Affliction Veil Effie A voice broke through Afflictions thoughts. He raised his head from the table and opened one eye. A man stood at the door, a teacher? He seemed to be yelling at him. Affliction yawned and shook his head so he could focus. The man seemed to be yelling about the mess in auditorium. He hadn't noticed it when he had come inside. He leaned back on his chair so he could see past the man. The band hall was a complete mess. Instruments lay everywhere and percussion instruments were impatiently stacked on top of each other in a box. Affliction frowned at the mess. "It wasn't me. Must have been the class that was in here before," Affliction shrugged. He noticed the cello case on the mans back. "Are you a new student?"

I am sorry, I completely forgot I had this character...I am so used to just having Michael and Caesar. (・へ・)
Takashi Hiroki "I have no interest in being your friend..." He felt mocked. Somehow, he felt like one or all of them weren't even taking him seriously which annoyed him greatly. Now he really wanted to knock someone over so he closed his eyes with a frown and began to focus again. "...so please refrain from wasting my time with your chatter."
Reed quirked an eyebrow at the boy. He didn't seem distraught or anything. Maybe he just slept heavily? He blinked when the boy asked if he was a student here, wondering whether to laugh or feel embarrassed. "I'm far from being a student." he said with a slight chuckle. Must be the white hair, it always did make him look younger. "I'm the new band director here, but... is there some holiday going on that I should know about?" he asked and motioned to the empty building albeit two students from afar. Veterans' Day had passed, but maybe this school took a week off for it? Wouldn't be the first time he'd heard of such a thing.
"I'll make your music live on."

Affliction Veil Effie Affliction raised his eyebrows when he heard he was the new band director. They didn't get new teachers often and when they did a lot of kids would take the chance to skip. "Holiday?" Affliction had a tone of amusement in his voice. This teacher was really clueless. "Not that I know of. All the music classes must be somewhere else or something. They might be skipping class as well." Affliction shrugged.
xXxXxRemoving his shoe while the boy called Hiroki attempted to knock him over again, the youngest phantom male chunked it with relative ease at the supposed new teacher. He then repeated this with the violinist before shifting his gaze ever so slightly. "Quarter of an inch to the left, Hiroki-kun. And would you two shut the fxck up? I've been working on him for about an hour and you're distracting him. Glad to see a teacher actually attend the class albeit you're late. The mess would be my doing and I can fix it, I just haven't gotten to it because I was discussing the subconscious parts of the brain to this guy," Torithÿn growled lowly before standing up. Of course Soran and Viaresu returned to their hiding places near the ceiling, but still had their eyes on him in case he slipped up. Shoving one hand into his pocket, he raised the other hand and gave a heavy yawn. After what he felt was an eternity on focusing on everything damaged in the room, everything fuzzed up briefly before resolidifying in not-so-damaged forms. "I want to take a nap now so keep it down. My head's already pounding from how many times people keep interrupting my sleep before I can completely fall asleep. Wake me up and I will eat you; no lie. My older brothers can clarify what that means. Hiroki, go practice moving things using telekinesis. Pyrokinesis will come later."

Takashi Hiroki "I have no interest in being your friend..." Great. More freaking people. It was just what he needed right now. How the hell was he going to focus if they wouldn't shut their damn mouths?! Heaving a sigh, the boy opened his eyes and stood, giving other a small nod as he fixed his clothes. Ignoring the other's, he turned to the other man."I will do my best but I have a feeling that I shall have a better chance of succeeding in someplace more quiet now so I shall be leaving. Enjoy your nap."And with that, Takashi brushed pass the the other's and exit the room through the door. "...so please refrain from wasting my time with your chatter."
"Skipping? Every single one?" the man blinked then, with a sigh, put a hand to the back of his head and rubbed his white hair. "I guess it makes sense why they hired me so quickly." he muttered until he was snapped at by the other two students nearby. Reed looked over at the two, feeling a mixture of anger and surprise. So the only ones that decided to stay in school were the snobbish brats, huh? Just his luck. As one of the students left, the other one - the obviously cranky one - seemed to stare out into space for a while. Reed was just about to ask if he was all right when the room suddenly changed to its orderly appearance. He blinked at the sight for a moment before looking back at the student. By the look of the smug smile hidden behind the expressionless gaze, it was all his doing. Reed narrowed his eyes. Non-human, huh? The teacher paused when the boy threatened to eat him if he woke him from his name. No. Hell no. He didn't come to this God-forsaken desolate school just to get yelled at by some bratty kid that thought he knew too much for his age. "Stand back." Reed muttered to the violinist and strode across the room. He looked at an assortment of brass instruments then pulled out a sousaphone case. After assembling the instrument together, he put it over his shoulders and strode over to the napping student. He positioned the mouthpiece accordingly then leaned over until the bell of the sousaphone was right beside the boy's ear. Taking a silent but deep breath, Reed blew hard into the mouthpiece, causing the instrument to bellow out a middle D right in the napper's ear. "Band's not about napping. Either you get out or practice your scales." Reed yelled before looking at the violinist. "Same goes for you!"
xXxXxTori had given a brief wave of dismissal at the boy who'd come to him for help as a response while getting prepped for his nap. It was just as he was getting settled and started getting ready to drift into a full blown sleep when a loud blast echoed in his ear and nearly got him to swing his fist at where the sound came from. Unfortunately for him, he caught a barely audible clearing of a throat and ended up just shooting the teacher a dark glare. Tapping his fingers against the floor, a low growl came from deep down in his diaphragm. "Really? You're going to seriously tempt fate and how credible it is that I will take a bite out of your frickin' neck? I've done it to one of my brothers alre-" Torithÿn started to respond while reaching for the medical mask over his nose and mouth only to start coughing. Frick! Of course he had to start coughing now of all times! Yeah, genius. Let's scare people off with thinking you have pneumonia or some severe case of the flu.
xxxxxOnce the coughs settled back down, he stuck out his tongue briefly before sitting back up. "Look, guy... I mean, sir. I'm going to show you why I'm not exactly doing much besides trying to take a nap and acting like a grouch. Once you see why I'm in here, and I'm not living in the nurse's office much less bothering going to the other classrooms, perhaps you'll understand and leave me be," he huffed before standing up and moving over to where his own personal flute was. Picking it up with one hand while sliding down his mask, he cracked his neck. "Alright. You see the flute. You see the medical mask down. And just so you know, I find music relatively relaxing so the music won't bug me. It's the chitchat that bugs me. Just uh... Don't get mad at what happens to this instrument even if I do this from a slight distance. It's been happening for a few years now." Inhaling deeply, he prepped himself only to slide the flute up to his lips and beginning to play Rivers of Belief by Enigma. Unfortunately, after a few moments, the instrument began sounding muffled and he eventually stopped. This then ended up in him starting to clean the flute from what looked like black goo that had gathered inside it.
xxxxx"Blegh... Stupid virus," he grumbled lightly to himself before making the tissue now covered in the black goo from inside the flute vanish. He'd make Soran get rid of it later instead of playing the air guitar in his little hidey-hole. Glancing back up to the teacher, he let the flute vanish completely before shoving his hands into his pockets. "I can play the cello too, but I don't have my cello with me. My eldest brother is kind of a perfectionist when it comes down to music and he used to push me into finding ways to express my feelings. I used to write music, but I've never really let anyone hear it other than him before. I also used to sing for him, but whatever. It's a hobby and no one really gets it anyways so why should I care what other people think?" He gave that a slight shrug before sitting back down in a chair and sliding his medical mask back up.
Affliction Veil Effie Affliction noticed the teachers expression change when the room changed back to normal. It wasn't the most strange thing to happen at Black Rose to be completely honest. Affliction was pretty sure half the students at Black Rose weren't humans. A small chuckle rose up in his throat as he watched the teacher wake up the other student. This teacher was going to be fun. Maybe he would actually learn a thing or two. He picked up the violin as the other student started to have a coughing fit. He undid the locks which secured his case was closed and took out his violin. The intricate swirling designs of the violins still mesmerised him. He remembered when his parents had given it to him for his 6th birthday. Of course many other boys around his age would have loved toy cars or robotic toys but he always preferred arts. The smell of his violin always brought back memories of a fireplace and rounds of clapping and cheering. He waited paitently for the other student to finish. I should really learn my classmates names he thought to himself. He watched as the other student wiped off the black gunk from the flutes and waited until he was completely finished. He propped up his violin on his shoulder and positioned himself. "I'm Affliction by the way," he said quickly. "Call me Effie for short." He didn't really like playing classical pieces. He racked his mind for a piece he could play. He decided on playing For you, And your denial by YellowCard (You can't hear the parts too clearly but it's there).

Reed de Févin
"You were my everything."
The teacher raised an eyebrow when he saw the black goo coming from the flute. That boy definitely wasn't natural, but until he learned just what he was, Reed couldn't hunt him. He'd certainly put up a fight, though. The older musician turned back around when the violinist introduced himself. Affliction? To cause pain and suffering? That was his name? Well... He couldn't blame someone for their name. After all, his name wasn't the most creative. "My name is Reed de Févin, but call me Mr. de Févin, or Mr. Févin." He looked back at the flutist. "By what I've seen, there are plenty of school instruments here. Why don't you pick out a cello and come meet Affliction. I'll look up duets for you two to play since that's pretty much the class for the day." he said and started searching for the office.
xXxXxGiving a soft sigh, the abysmal demon male, or more commonly known as a phantom, stood up once again and shuffled over to where the few cellos belonging to the school were. "Torithÿn, but you can just call me Tori. You wouldn't want to know what it translates into. And you, Affliction, play the violin quite well. Just let me know song titles and the artist. Just don't get mad if I start drifting in and out of sleep. I can't exactly control my sleeping schedule. For all I know, once I fall completely asleep, I could be asleep for days, weeks, months or even years. At least consciously I'll be asleep. You wake me up once I'm fully asleep and you'll wake the virus inhabiting my body. If you want me to keep playing, just make sure I don't fully fall asleep. That's my only advice," he muttered while carrying the cello back over to his chair. It was there that he sat down and set the cello in it's proper place albeit he still remained slouched. Like he cared if he didn't look like the prince he was supposed to be.
xxxxxGrowing bored of trying to keep himself awake by watching the two living males in the room, he slid a piece of resin against the bow to his cello a couple times. After setting the resin down in the seat beside him, he let out a heavy sigh before setting his bow against the strings and began playing something that was original to him. Of course he wasn't going to tell them that such a dark song was his own work from when he was younger, but it was something to do. "There's a door to your left, Mr. de Fevin... Tell me something so typical, a lullaby or something miserable that will keep me up at night... So tell me what you want to hear, something that were like those years, sick of all the insincere so I'm gonna give all my secrets away... 'Cause I'm only a crack in this castle of glass. I'll be anything there for you to see... God bless us everyone. We're a broken people living under loaded gun. Like memories and cold decay, transmissions echoing away. Fight for the world of you and I where oceans bleed into the sky. God save us everyone as we burn inside the fires of a thousand suns for the sins of our hand, the sins of our tongue, the sins of our father, the sins of our young," he breathed out softly to himself, his fingers dancing across the strings of the cello while the tunes he played just seemed to flow together with the words he was humming.

Reed de Févin
"You were my everything."
"Ah, I hear a song." the teacher called out. Shortly after he reached the two, a folder of sheet music in his hands. "I wouldn't sing it so softly, though. You have a nice voice by what I've heard, and you have all the room in the world." he said and looked around the empty band hall. Such a shame to see such a great place so... abandoned. He could remember so many kids staying at their band halls just because! And now? Now it was just a storage building. Then again, it seemed the same fate was shared among the entire school. Forcing himself back to reality, Reed looked over to see the violinist sound asleep once again. He pursed his lips, tempted to get the tuba and wake him like he did with Tory, but something told him otherwise. "Hah, I guess it's just you and me now." he murmured to the cellist. "I can play violin, so I'll take his place. Ensemble music would give me a better idea of your skills than a solo would." he commented as he searched for pieces. "So how long have you played the cello? Any favorite pieces?" he asked merely to lighten the mood.
xXxXxFeeling his face heat up from the teacher commenting on his singing, he had ceased all movement of his fingers on the strings of the cello along with the bow. "I don't do public performances even if it's just one person. My brother Eric was trying to find a way for me to express myself so he's the only one to have heard me playing from the heart including vocals. I'm not very comfortable giving public performances so it's become a hobby for me to rant and rave and just break down in," Torithÿn mumbled while curling his toes in his boots and releasing them a few times. Never really glancing up from the cello in his arms, he started trying to count the years he'd played music.
xxxxx"Seven or eight years is how long I've played music and Johann Sebastian Bach's Unaccompanied Cello Suite No.1: Prelude would be the song I'm most attached to. It's the first song Eric taught me to play. I'd also say Nearer My God To Thee which comes with vocals and O Come, Emmanuel. And we're not alone, sir. Soran and Viaresu are my babysitters until one of my elder brothers return and they're sitting up there," he answered while briefly pointing up towards the little catwalk above the stage with his bow. A blonde haired male's head poked over the edge with a sharp glare directed towards Torithÿn while a dark haired male leaned over the other side with a rather cheerful smile. Both gave the teacher a slight wave albeit the blonde seemed relatively unamused. "Viaresu is the blonde and he can play the violin or the flute. Soran is the dark haired male and he can play any instrument given to him. They were trying to skip out on class." "I play when I want to play, not when I'm told to play." "You give me too much praise. I'm supposed to be in a different class, but Yué asked me to stay in here with you, Tori, and music is far more entertaining. Would you like us to come down, Mr. de Fevin? I can't promise Viaresu's care for failing his classes here, but I can get him to come down from up here."
xXxXxIgnoring the two males from above, Torithÿn's hands began moving again in playing the second song he'd listed. As the bow slid across the strings, his fingers moving with sharp precision that made the music sound fluid, he began softly breathing the words to the song in a low hum. "Nearer, my God, to Thee, nearer to Thee. E'en though it be a cross that raiseth me, still all my song shall be nearer, my God, to Thee. Nearer, my God, to Thee, nearer to Thee. Though like the wanderer, the sun gone down, darkness be over me, my rest a stone, yet in my dreams I'd be nearer, my God, to Thee. Nearer, my God, to Thee, nearer to Thee. There let the way appear, steps unto Heav'n. All that Thou sendest me, in mercy giv'n, angels to beckon me nearer, my God to Thee. Nearer, my God to Thee, nearer to Thee. Or if on joyful wing cleaving the sky, sun, moon and stars forgot, upwards I fly. Still all my song shall be nearer, my God, to Thee. Nearer, my God, to Thee, nearer to Thee."

Reed de Févin
"You were my everything."
"Ah, Bach was very famous for his cello and violin music, though they didn't compare to his organ music. If you liked that then I'm sure you'd enjoy Vivaldi's Cello Concerto in B minor. It'll also work on your sightreading skills." he said as he pulled out the sheet music. He set them on a nearby stand and pulled it towards Tory. "Now remember that this is B minor, so we have- Huh?" He stopped his explanation and turned to see two other people looking at him. Oh? Two other students? Well it was better than nothing. "A flute, huh? And we could put you on bassoon then... No, we still wouldn't have enough." he murmured to himself and scratched his chin. "A string trio is still good. There's plenty of music good for that."
xXxXx"I love how you say his music. It's so very amusing," Torithÿn snickered lightly behind his medical mask. Of course, as he snickered about the teacher's words, Tyvinda and Texenius jumped down off the catwalk without making so much as a thump when their feet hit the stage. Tyvinda even chuckled lightly at the other's words, but neither really clarified why they found someone calling Bach's music his work amusing to the point of laughing.
xxxxx"I'm trying to read so don't bother with adding me to your mini concerto of a class. I'm not in the mood to play music although I don't mind listening to it. Besides, I'm pretty sure if you asked Tori nicely, he would give you an entire room of instruments playing," the blonde male muttered irritably as his deep red wings and tail shifted around as if uncomfortable. He needed to cut the damnable things off, but he couldn't so long as they had to babysit Torithÿn. Where were his fricking brothers?!
xXxXx"Now, now, Viaresu. We can be of some help since this teacher has shown up to give lessons to his students. Besides, you should be glad he's not obsessed with the next time he's going to have sex with his lover like most of the students and teachers are," Tyvinda hummed only to start laughing as Texenius stuck his tongue out and gave a slight shudder that ran down his wings and tail. Torithÿn merely muttered a low "ew" before the other cellos and violins belonging to the school lifted themselves up as if someone had picked them up to play. Unfortunately, they set themselves back down just as carefully as Torithÿn yawned involuntarily. "You're right, Soran, I suppose... At least someone is interested in educating the students. Don't overly stress yourself, Tori. I was kidding about you playing all of those string instruments. You're a pain to keep contained when you go into your canniballistic side." "Sorry... I couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or not. Soran can't read sheet music, Mr. de Fevin. You could tell him a million different times what the lines, the spaces and the other musical notes mean, but he'll start crying and saying it makes no sense." "They don't! I play by sound and memory of how the hands go throughout the song. Sheet music can go burn in the fiery pits of Hell for all I care. I couldn't read it even if my life depended on it."
