"Actually, I never really listened to Dave Mathews that much." Danielle stated.

'Concert? Sounds nice, I haven't been to one in a couple years now.' Danielle thought.
"Oh um, it's Bleach. It's my favorite manga." Danielle replied.

"Manga, eh?" Penny said sounding a bit Candian for a second, "I like Ghost in the Shell myself... If you want to read some American comics, I can recommend some good ones. But if I see another Spiderman comic book, I might gag. I highly doubt his adventures are anything like they are in the comics.... so says the mutant who is driving her friends to go fight some super charged mutant hounds."

Penny put the cruise control on and slunk back as she hit the highway. The night was dark and the road was fast, perfect.

~ this is going to get amusing ~ she thought until pietro came in. " Fenway..Pietro you dont even.." she trailed off the frown on her face evident. " no way. I got captured once and i dont even bloody well remember what happened. Im not going. " she said flopping down on the couch." by the way meet the new girl. " she said motioning to corky standing in the doorway. Reaching over she yanked john out of the door. " So damn defensive geesh. Chill out." she glared at him. Her mood wasnt the best today and that much was evident. Looking down at her feet she scowled realizing that yes virgina she forgot to paint her toenails let alone put on socks and shoes. Concentrating for a moment her toenails appeared painted a nice red color and then socks and shoes covered them. She loved being a shifter.

"I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS PIETRO!!!" yelled Wanda, holding her sides. She forgot her ribs were still very sensitive to Pietro's magic touch. Now she really regretted to have turn him back. Next time I turn him into something, he'll stay that way for a MONTH no matter how horrible the sight might be for me!!

The next morning, she was at Freya's side. The later was getting ready to leave already. "I thought you had to stay a couple of days here to heal," said the Scarlet Witch.

"I have some scores to settle," explained the blond.

"No you're not. You're planning on chasing the brainwashed kids alone aren't you?"

Freya leaned close to Wanda and whispered "The girl I saved is planning to leave with her team to look for them. Do you really think they have a chance unless they have a psychic with them?"

"You're not a psychic, Freya."

"Not right now but there's a trick I have in my sleeve that I need to try and these hounds are the perfect opportunity to use it."

"Wait... You are going to use a trick you never tried before in a dangerous situation like this one?" asked Wanda with an eyebrow raised.

"You never know what's good until you try it on the field. Besides, I told you everything you need to know if things go wrong."

Freya opened the window and put her foot on the bordure when Wanda stopped her by placing a hand on her shoulder. "I don't understand what you're trying to prove," she told the blond.

"Go the brotherhood house and stay around them. They will eventually go after the kids too. Just be careful to not enter their game. I taught you better than that."

On the those words, Freya took off.

Faithful to her attitude, Wanda arrived at the brotherhood house in her Scarlet Witch gear and kicked the door open before walking in. "Where's Pietro?" she asked with her hands ready to hex the first person pissing her off.

"Why do people act like they do and not care." Piotr said as he walked towards the Brotherhood house. After about a minute he saw the place and saw that it wasn't exaclty legitimate but then again what was now a days.

He walked up to the door but then thought Will they even care or even let me in?
He looked in and saw people talking and heard something about Fenway

"What are they planning to do at Fenway maybe some sort of attack?"he said to himself. He thought it would be a bad idea but then thought of Illyana and of how they injected her with that disease and took off. I know I should do something, something to repay Illyana and this group might know.

He walked back to the door and knocked.

IC: Rage sat perched on an out of the way fire escape in downtown Boston. As much as he didn't want to admit it, this place was his home town....his turf....his hunting grounds. He had gotten word from Ahab that all the renegade and runaway mutants from the facility and they had all congregated to Boston. And he was 'awakened' to deal with the problem.

For what seemed like an eternity, he waited for any sign of any of the mutants. He had been on the trail of three of them, one a flier, able to control the gravity around her to propel her in flight. Another a mutant with energy based powers, derived from solar energy. The last out of their triad was able to bend reality to her will....her every whim. She also may prove a threat, Ahab had told Rage. Obviously, he had not seen his most dangerous Hound in action yet.

While he sat there waiting, he didn't know how or why, but he felt like someone was poking around in his head. He could almost recognize the voice; it was definitely feminine. "Jacen.....," the voice said, "Wake up. Jacen, I know you're there. Talk to me."

He ignored it when out of the corner of his eye, he saw the three mutants charging down the road, the one girl in flight, the other two on foot. Rage watched with intent as he saw them getting closer and closer, and when the time was right, he pounced. With sword drawn, he freefell until the blade pierced the back of the flier, sending blood pooling on the ground. In a matter of moments, she'd be dead.

"You.....!!!," the male said as he unleashed a massive blast of solar energy that hit Jacen in the chest like a Mack truck. Fortunately for him, Ahab had designed a lightweight obsidian armored chest protector for such instances. Rage's master....always thinking ahead of the game. But even so, Jacen decided to go with the hit and fell to the ground. As he lay there, he could sense the one girl cautiously approaching him. Even though he had no need to syphon the energies from others, he still could to amp his own power, and he could still sense, taste, smell, and feel any sort of negativity. And this girl was a tight little bundle of anxiety.

Rage waited until he felt her warm breath on his face when he struck. In an instant, he had the girl's throat in hand and had it crushed. While blood poured out of her mouth, he watched as the alleyway they were fighting in turned from what looked like a visual confirmation of Hell, to a medieval courtyard, to a Japanese stone garden....then suddenly, he was back in Boston. The girl was dead.

Rage sat up ala a famous professional wrestler (if you don't know who that is, you're sadly out of the loop) and looked straight at the remaining mutant. Unfortunately for him, the kid ran away in a shot. "That does it!!!!," Rage shouted with a murderous intent, "No one makes me chase them!!!" And he ran out of the alley to chase the mutie.

It seemed like he didn't run long at all until he ran into a wall of blinding snow. It was cold, he could barely see. It would have been unnerving to anyone else other than him. The cold, the drop in his body temp, the icicles forming on his face and ears, but he knew who it was. The snow was the signature. When the storm cleared, the mutant was lying on the concrete blue as a raspberry popsicle. The Frost Queen had done her job effectively.

"Well done," Rage said, commending his comrade, "Is there more prey to feast upon, or should we go back to the base and await our next command?"

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, a blonde telepath sat at a rather large table looking annoyed. Then, for whatever reason, she slammed her fist into the table hard. "I knew he was alive," she said, "I don't know why, but I just knew it."

"Knew who was alive, Emma?," a woman said as she walked into the room. She was dressed in a rather elegant black dress, and had her reddish hair pinned up high on her head.

"Jacen," Emma said without hesitance, "Our link was severed not too long ago and I feared him dead, but..."

"Tch. Emma," Tessa said with a scolding tone, "You place too much faith in that child."

"Just wait and see, sister," Emma said with a hint of hope in her voice, "He'll join us soon enough. And he'll be the perfect leader for my 'children'."
