Aleta and Rafeal were still inside, passively listeing to the conversation through an open window. I didn't know that about kagura... Aleta thought.
Rafeal got up, and he noticed a shape in the corner of the living room. "Hey, ezrah made us something!" It was a large pack of food. "Should we wait for them to give it to us or should we just put it in the jeep" Then he whispered to himself. "Or maybe just eat some of it..."
"But you just ate!" Aleta smiled and shook her head.
"But look how skiny I am!" he lifted up his shirt. You could see his ribs, but he wasn't soft looking at all. All bones and sinew.
She laughed. "Ha! I have abs!" On an impulse, she lifted her shirt halfway to show him. Rafeal looked at her appreciateively, but his eyes froze on her scar. Aleta put her shirt down again.
"You never showed me that before Aleta..."
"Yeah. I told you the story, right?" Aleta was slightly embarrassed.
"Well, I like it."
"What?" She looked at him incredulously.
"It shows you have been through something, and you survived. Its hot." He half-smiled mischeiviously, and moved in to kiss her, but then Yumi entered.
"Hey."

Aleta was brought back into reality, "what about your father?!" Rafeal immediately sensed the danger.
"Terah! Get down here!" He went off to go fetch him.

Duri slummed past June, removing the rag from his nose and tossing it aside, he sat down in the water, letting it touch his chin.
