Bavira smirked. "Yep, you're a man of adventure after all. As for Fae...let's leave her with Kenshin. This way, should we need to fight, the crew can protect the ship. Hold on..." He went out into the hall, and a few moments later, returned with Kenshin.

Kenshin went over to Fae with a slight smile. "I'd be honored to watch over young Fae. You're going to investigate the King Neptune, rumor, yes? I find it odd someone would claim to be the Ocean King. However, if it turns out to be the real King Neptune, introduce yourself Bavira. Him knowing that the Dragon King has returned will serve well in the future."

Kenshin shook his head before bowing slightly. "It is my honor to care for the child of my King." He then looked down at the sleeping Fae. A sky turtle being raised by the Dragon King. Heh...how ironic. Our last King was raised by a sky turtle. Is this fate's idea of a joke?

Bavira nodded, smiling back. "Let's go!"

Kenshin smirked. "The same reason someone would pretend to be Dragon King. You're royalty, you got money, girls throw their selves at you, and often, you don't have to pay for what you're getting."

Bavira took a moment to process it before frowning. "I see your point. Then it's ever more important we sort this mess out if it's a misunderstanding." He then grabbed Jack's hand. "Let's go. Thanks again, Kenshin."

Bavira chucked and looked at Jack. "Isn't it obviously? We kick 'em out, our style!" He went down the stairs and approached a gossiping group. "You say King Neptune's here? Where is he? I want to meet him."

Bavira nodded his head at the information and looked at Jack. "On the other side of the island, huh? Kind of a weird place to take root...if you're up to mischief." He kept his voice low so only Jack could hear him.

"That would be the best case scenario." Bavira admitted, retrieving his sword back on the ship. With Kenshin watching over Fay and the ship, he didn't have much to worry about. Though, it took some convincing on Kenshin's part to let just the two of them go for now. But promised if he hadn't heard from them by noon, Kenshin had permission to come looking for them.

Ready to head to the other side of the island, he turned to Jack. "Ready, my love?"

Jack looked ahead. "Yeah. Time to go meet King Neptune." He then guided their way back into town, following the flow of talk as they made their way to the other side of the island. Once they made their way through the sleepy village, the lively jungle was their next host. There was a single path, worn in from constant travel along it, leaving a clear guide to the other side. But there was a hanging darkness that hinted at the idea of straying from the path, even the slightest bit, would lead to dire times.

Bavira raised an eyebrow at that. "Well, if he really got done in by some mere jungle beasts, we'd easily be able to rule him out as the real King Neptune." He stated with a concerned tone. He could imagine someone that foolish with draw upon the real wrath of Neptune. But as they would continue on the path, the sounds of merriment could be heard. Bright lights from numerous torches started to light the path until they came upon the scene of a party deep into the hour. Several of the townspeople were there, caught up in drunken stupors as they danced among themselves.

On the far side of the party, though, sitting upon a makeshift throne that sat closest to the cliff, over the deep waves down below, sat the only man not dancing. His skin looked like dark waves, reminiscent of the pattern created by the sun's light upon dusk waves. His hair seemed to reflect the horizon, a blinding white tinted by the barest hints of blue and red. And lastly, the man's eyes were two different blues. One was as clue a blue as tropical waters while the other was deep and dark, almost like the waves before a storm...or in the center of it.

Even though he bore no crown upon his head, the aura he wielded was immense, and heavy. He looked upon the newcomers as they emerged from the woods, his eyes locking with Bavira's before narrowing in recognition.

On the other hand, Bavira felt a strange shudder go through his body and he fought the urge to run towards the other. Why would he do such a strange thing? They didn't...know each other, did they?
