battosai matt Siefren battosai matt The closest thing I remeber about a blond in a test tube was jill but the was shown as a picture. Alright here it is, the part that i'm talking about is at the very end of the trailer. You'll see exactly what I'm talking about, and I'm sure that I don't recall seeing it in the actual game at any point. The girl in the water.Ya I'm pretty sure thats Jill. If you notice, I'm pretty sure Chris is wearing a somewhat different outfit from the actual game itself. Not to mention the Sheva wasn't shown in the trailer yet. The game was still in production. Which would explain why that scene in the trailer was cut out. Take Resident Evil 3.5 for exemple. What Resident Evil 4 would have been. It's pretty much 100% different aside from Leon beinging in it. It was changed due to it being paranormal which straied to far from what Resident Evil was. lol oh wow, what in the world were they thinking with this crap? I'm glad they decided to dump this into Devil May Cry, this isn't resident evil at all. I know that originally, they wanted to have ghosts and demons in the original Idea for Resident Evil, but they were still going to include the virus in it, and then the producers were like how can we explain this stuff with a virus concering the ghosts and what not they had originally planned. so I guess they were wanting to root back to the very first idea and see what they could do with it, then decided that this isn't going to work for the story.

True true. It sure explains why Leon and Dante look alike. Never played DMC. Just a demo that came with Veronica X. I heard about that to. The inspiration for Resident Evil was the earlier Capcom game Sweet Home. Shinji Mikami was initially commissioned to make a horror game set in a haunted mansion like Sweet Home. In Sweet Home, the characters find a note reading "This is the house where evil resides." Put the peices together and you get Resident Evil...despite only one game really takes place in a residence. Mybe.

But it was to pay trbute to the original concept and idea of the game, so for western shores they changed the name to Resident Evil. Code Veronica took place at a residence too, though which spanned an entire island, though it certainly wasn't like the first game, but even the first game goes to an undergound laboratory.

I wouldn't say that 95 percent of it took place in the mansion. maybe more like 70 to 75 percent, for the simple fact that you went out to the court yards, in the woods in the opening sequence, and on the walk ways of the mansion which were also outside. The lab itself did take up a lot of time as well. so you've probably got about 75 percent in the actual mansion, 10 percent for the outside of the mansion, and 15 percent for the lab...with the remake, there was a lot more stuff added to it, which would change up those percentages as well.

I gusse by throwing in the other factors I'd lower my orginal percent to mybe...80% in the mansion. Still more than the others I think.

Like varying percentages pertaining to the areas, with the remake, you had the underground caverns where Lisa was, the Cave that lead to it, court yard, the lab, ect. Time wise Yeah, I'd say you spent at least 80 to 85 persent of your time in the game in the mansion area.

The only way the orginal RE beats this one is the fact it doesn't have crimson heads.

Yeah, i actually remember one time that I crashed the game because I had indirectly locked myself out of being able to hold the items i needed, and the fact that I didn't have any where to go to get to the storage trunks, because I couldn't carry the key i needed, so the game crashed, and i lost all the progress i had made up to that point lol.

Time wise, you certainly do spend the majority of in the mansion, running back and forth between court yards, the caverns, the lab ect ect lol, always having to retrace your steps...and those annoying crimson heads lol, I'd say that they were the BOWs i fought the most. Really? Why not burn the bodies so no more ammo is wasted, like our time when we have to burn the bodies? New enimies are usally a fun experince but not in this case. The only way the orginal RE beats this one is the fact it doesn't have crimson heads. lol every time that a body was left over, i didn't have the canteen on me, and by the time i got it, and went back to get rid of the body, the sucker had already reanimated lol. So it's just a problem with inconvenience and terrible timing lol. Its like they were trying to make the game more tedious. I always carry the cateen and lighter(When Jill) with me. So I waste 4 to 5 slots. Because there are those two things, gun and ammo, and sometimes a key. lol oh wow. That sucks. I wonder how you managed that. And don't even get me started on how annoying it is as Chris.
