"The Archer?" Penguin asked as the elevator finally reached the bottom floor. "I'm not familiar with any Archers in Gotham. Though with all of the other new faces, I wouldn't be surprised to have someone new move into Gotham." he said with a slight sigh.

When the door open, the guards let Penguin out first. Then one followed behind him. The others let Edmond out next, then two more followed after him. The last exited the elevator, but took his post outside of it. From the looks of the basement, the only way in or out was the elevator.

The room was large... half of it looked as though it were for lounging, the other for keeping very expensive items, and the far back half for storage. There were several rooms lining to wall to the left. All open, all for storage.

But... there were a few rooms with metal doors. Very secured, very far out of the way. Penguin began walking towards those rooms. A few of the doors had scratches, and one was open and had a blood stain on the inside of it. A worker was inside the room, trying to clean up splattered messes on the metal and built-in soundproofing.

"Yeah, he's new. Likes to call himself the Count. I don't see why. The Archer is simple and to the point. The Count, makes you think he fights with sword." edmond looked over at cobblepot then back at the elevator doors. "He seems to be dealing with small fish though. Nothing big." When Cobblepot walked out Edmond waited so one of the guards could follow and then he stepped out. The bottom floor seemed far less disturbing than he had been lead to believe, however he then saw the room Cobblepot was walking to and realized what he meant. The Count shrugged and followed him.

"Well, lets hope it stays that way." Cobblepot replied as they neared an empty room. "He may well get in over his head if he tries for anything bigger. And if the Bat returns, he may well be booted from the city if he tries so."

Penguin motioned for the guard to open the room. One of the men moved forward and unlocked the metal door next to them. He pulled the door opened and motioned for Edmond to move into the room first. The room was clean, but had a few stains that looked as though they hadn't been cleaned up yet. Soundproofed walls. No cameras. And a well secured door.

Cobblepot followed into the room after Edmond. Then followed by two guards. The third one remained outside the door and locked up after them.

"Well, enough about these vigilantes, we have business to attend to." Edmond said as he walked into the room as prompted. Once he was in the room he opened up his briefcase and check on the diamonds that were inevitably still there. He then shut the briefcase and turned to face Oswald who was not coming into the room. "Now that we have ensured privacy, I have in my possession, nearly a dozen diamonds. All uncut as to provide the most possible usages."

"Well, I will of course need to see the diamonds you have brought. I trust that you have them, but I'll need to make sure their worth." Cobblepot replied, his eyes moving from the briefcase and back to Edmond. "I have had past deals go sour due to people trying to pass off low-quality jewels for top-quality prices."

"Of course." Edmond found a table and sat down. He put the briefcase on the surface and opened it, revealing the bag of diamonds inside. "Here they are." Edmond proclaimed as he turned the briefcase to face the other side of the table so Oswald could come over and see them.

Sorry for the delay, very cold weather this week. Only 4 degrees out right now, only have time for a post or two. Hopefully it will warm up again soon.

Cobblepot walked up to the table and carefully glanced over the contents of the briefcase. Satisfied that there was nothing abnormal about it, he moved to pull out a diamond to better inspect them. Finding one, and finding that none of them appeared to be badly cracked or scratched, he drew one closer to his eyes.

"Well, they all appear to be in good shape. Once cleaned up, they should be very good quality." he said as he moved the diamond back and forth in front of him.

"Yes, I obtained them from a reliable source. My source always has high quality items and deals great discretion." Edmond said. It was partially true. He had taken them as a prize from some criminal he had encountered several times. Each time the criminal had something different of high value. It was discreet because if the man reported it stolen he would have to explain how he obtained it and that would get him in an equal amount of trouble. "What would you be willing to give for them?"

Oswald looked over the diamond in his hand once more, then glanced back down at the open briefcase in front of him. ”Well, they all seem to be in excellent condition. By just a glance I would say a few hundred. With some of my equipment I could give you a better estimate.”

The guard hadn't moved from his position outside the elevator in the basement. On the one hand, that was a good thing. She still had plenty of time. On the other hand, she had no idea what was going on. It was more than a safe guess that they were in one of the “break rooms”, and there was no security cameras for her to bug in those rooms.

Emily watched the small monitor on her wrist, then sighed and turned her attention back to the computer system. The suit she was currently wearing was mostly made up of the same chameleon skin that her stealth suit was covered in. What parts weren't covered were perfectly visible. That included any screens, wires, or extra equipment she had needed to bring with her. If she hadn't kept crouched down behind the desk and chair, she'd likely look like a bunch of floating wires and screens.

Luckily, this was a blind spot from the cameras in the room. Also lucky... she didn't need to actually turn the main computer back on to get into it with her equipment. She could remotely control it through her helmet and tablet. All she needed to do was go through everything to try and find what she needed. Which was... a LOT of hidden files. The information SHE wanted would be easy to find. She only needed to download any information and files that had been brought up over the last few days. The information that the COUNT wanted, she'd have to shift through or take a guess. The firsthand information that the Count had gathered was the first Emily had ever heard or seen of the organization, so she wouldn't even know where to look to find any hidden files Penguin had on it. She'd never seen anything like it brought up on the computer before. Though she supposed she knew what files wouldn't have any information, so that was a start at least.

Find files that might have it and download them all. Go through them back at her base or at the rendezvous point. She didn't have the time to try and look through all the hidden files, so she'd have to take them all with her and figure it out later. What she didn't have room for, she'd have to switch over to the spare hard drives she brought with her. She had at least three in her back pack, so she should have plenty of room.

Edmond shook his head. If Cobblepot went to get his equipment they risked running into Emily, and that was one risk Edmond did not want to play. "No, I won't ask much. Say about one-fifty per diamond. That leaves plenty of room for you to gain and rids me of the diamonds. It is a win-win situation." Edmond looked from Cobblepot to the diamond in his hand. "Or you can negotiate a lower price at which point I will also request information on certain things." The Count had been in this situation more than once but it was always different. There was always something different and in this case the x-factor was that he was buying time instead of rushing. "Then there is the third option where I offer the diamonds for free and in return ask for a wealth of information."

"Really?" Cobblepot mused, looking back towards his guest. "And what sort of information would you be interested in trading the diamonds for? It wouldn't do well for me to agree to give you the information if I don't know the answers you need... or if the information is simply too expensive."

Edmond smiled when Cobblepot picked up on his other offers. "Well, recently a friend of mine showed me this small cube he had purchased that projected an illusion. But when I asked, he would not tell me where it was from. I would be very interested in knowing where to get one of those." Edmond said as he recalled the small cube that the third Rosie had moved to show him the way into the tunnels under the laboratory. Edmond figured that if he could find out where they came from he could find out more about the place he had been captured.

"An illusiion projecting cube?" Oswald repeated, then gently placed a finger under his lip in thought. "I can't say I know much about it. The only such technology I know of would belong to someone named Mysterio. I believe they are his own private items though." he said, then looked at the diamond in his hand. "I could find out more about it in my office if you need." he said, placing the diamond in his pocket as payment for the information."

"Mysterio... interesting. I do however have another question for you. If I was looking to buy a flower that looked like...." Edmond reached inside his suit jacket and the pen he had hidden in his sleeve popped into his hand. He brought it out and drew an image of the flower he had seen on the girl inside the lab. He drew on the table figuring that Cobblepot had done worst things on it before. "Like this. It is used to sedate people by putting them in a sort of trance. Where would I get one of these?" Edmond was running out of ways to buy time. This was the only question he could come up with off the top of his head and Emily had not texted him that she was in the clear yet. But he was worried about something else now. If Cobblepot did know about the lab and he knew about the devices they used, asking about these things would set off red flags.

Cobblepot looked down at the drawing and frowned thoughtfully. As Edmond explained more about the plant, the man's thoughtful frown turned into an actual frown. "I can't say I've seen anything like this before." Penguin began, the tone of his voice changing a bit. "But... a plant that sedates people by putting them in a trance... The only plant like that I know of is... not for sale." he said, then looked back at Edmond.
