[Dani :: Angel Grove :: Outside Red Rose]
Dani looked up at the weird brown power ranger telling her to move with him. “Okay…” she said standing next to the brown ranger.

“By the way. Do I get a name of who you are?” Dani asked quietly as she hid behind the ranger. She held up her chakrams in defense but really could not do anything to protect herself. She continued to watch as they moved closer to the wreckage of where she assumed the ship crashed. She wanted to know a little bit more about these weird power rangers since one of them attacked her.

“Also I don’t really remember there being a brown power ranger in the original group of power rangers. Are you new?” she asked the man nicely.

Jacob ║ Port Royal ║ Prison

"I woke up and these were here...I still have NO clue as to what is going on." Jacob spoke with conviction and sot undertones full of hate. This man, CLEARLY, rubbed Jacob raw. Then, Jacob remembered him. This was the man that insulted him and threw him in jail! The gears in his head started to turn as Jacob already started to plan, albeit half-assed. He tossed the pouches through the gate, letting their contents spill out along the wooden floor. "Oh crap! Sorry about that." Jacob stood up and stretched his arms out in front of him, in a defiant show to Mercer. He wasn't ready for his death, but he wasn't going to die in a noose. Not here, not without justice payed in full.

[Tommy .:. Angel Grove .:. Outside the Red Rose]

Tommy pulled up on the motorcycle he had borrowed, running over a pair of Heartless as he did so before leaping off the bike, Saba already in hand. He cleaved through a pair of Neoshadow as he looked around at the scene, not quite sure what to make of things. Suddenly, Rangers. Thousands of them.

Okay, maybe not thousands.

Tommy's eyes finally found Billy, heading towards a downed Ranger as he fought off Heartless. the White Ranger quickly started running in the direction of his friend, stopping short of the many Heartless gathering around Billy and Kichi before shouting, "I want you guys to meet Saba!" He threw the saber at the Heartless, the weapon seeming to take on a mind of its own as it flew through all of the Heartless, zig-zagging through all of them before returning to Tommy's hand. "Billy, what's the situation?"

[Alan :: Angel Grove :: Outside the Red Rose]

"Use your power?"

"Summon me!"

Finally, it dawned on Alan. "Oh! That's what you are! Like Jon with Bahamut!"

"Yeah, but I'm way better than that silly mecha-dragon."

"Really? What are you?"

"You'll see! Summon me! You know how. You gotta make a contract first!"

"Right. Somehow, I do know. But . . . a contract?"
Alan was hesitant. He wasn't in a hurry to make a deal with the devil.

"It's no big deal. It's just making the relationship we already have official! Think of it as a wedding vow!"

"A wedding vow? First I'm your mother, now your husband? What are we supposed to be, exactly?"
Alan grinned, despite himself.

"Summoner and summon," the voice replied, entirely missing the point.

Someone has to teach this girl what these words mean . . .

"Right, okay then. Let's do this."

"Yeah! Let's go!"

Alan stepped forward. A mob of Heartless had surrounded him while he had been in conversation with his summon, although, strangely, they hadn't attacked. It was almost as if they were fearful. As if they sensed something. As Alan advanced, in fact, they began to scamper backwards.

Alan let go of Jehuti. The weapon simply hovered in the air, awaiting. The magic was palpable. Alan's eyes glowed white.

He began.

"In the name and under the authority of the Ancient Sages, under whose wisdom, through Jehuti, I learned the Arcanum, I take the role of the Fool, the Magician and the Summoner, to sanctify this contract."

The magic seemed to solidify, becoming circular in shape and roaring like fire.

"Yes! That's it!"

"Be revealed! Fire that is not a fire! Emulator and defier of worlds! Unending one! Hear my call and come forth!"

"Just a little bit more . . . "

"I give myself unto thee wholly that thou give of thyself fully unto me! I am thine, and thou art mine!"

At first, nothing appeared to happen. Then, the magic circle began spinning, and flew into the sky, leaving a trail behind in the clouds. Through its trail descended the powerful flame whose name Alan had called. Considering everything, it wasn't terribly large, yet everyone could sense the absolutely enormous buildup of magic. She gracefully decended, and landed near Alan. "Hi~, Ani-ue

Alan smiled warmly at the blaze. "Yoroshiku . . . imouto-chan." The summon seemed to grin. "Then . . . if you would?"

"Just watch me!"

Alan did, almost wistfully, as his new companion floated gracefully into the air. He almost couldn't believe that he had just enacted a summoning ritual . . . which was apparently analogous to a wedding. What had that thing been doing in his heart?

Alan forcibly extracted his mind from the gutter.

As for the blaze, after gaining good altitude, she plummeted to the ground. Where she landed, a massive crater formed, a ring of fire around it. Then, a tree sprouted - a massive flowering tree made of pure intense fire. An unfelt wind struck its branches and its petals of flame flitted to the ground. Wherever they struck, a massive explosion that only harmed the Heartless encompassed the area. Alan watched in awe. Apparently her boast wasn't all talk.

[ Billy ; Seymour : Angel Grove : Outside the Red Rose ]

"Tommy, you just missed him!" Billy shouted, protecting Kichi and slightly nodding toward the Brown Ranger for sending the earth spikes their way. These guys had so much power, it was insane-

As if on cue, the Fire Ranger began to chant eerily; his book began to hover in front of him. The magic... the magic was so intense. Who were these Rangers?!

Seymour eyed Alan like a hawk as he finished his incantation, the briefest glimpse of a smirk could be seen curling at the tip of his lips. The mana was palpable... being who he was, Seymour could actually taste it in the air...

The Heartless were completely eradicated by the summon's blast. The field was quiet now... so now what?

[??? :: Port Royal :: Prison]

The woman sat quietly against the wall, her face lightly covered in dried blood from her unreasonable beating. She hadn't done anything wrong in her opinion; those guards were picking on that blonde boy and now she sits on death row awaiting to be hung. Her hands ran quietly through her hair, no longer bound in a clip. The woman's gaze shifted towards the multiple guards threatening him.

Seems I am to die without catching up to Leon...Ah, I suppose that is life. It's not fair, dammit. Not fair at all. The blonde thought to herself, leaning farther against the wall. She couldn't help but brood; it was her nature after all.

[Dawn : Port Royal : Clearing]

Dawn let out a sigh as Joe seemed to glare at her for a moment (giving a soft apology a moment later) and others completely ignored her. She adverted her eyes from the group, looking down at her feet and started to fidget with the hem of her skirt. She didn't mean to sound cold with what she said, just meant to let the girl get some air, who knows what Noelle had gone through in the last several hours. It wasn't as if she wasn't worried herself, or ask if she was okay. But what could she ask that wasn't already asked. Dawn felt a little awkwardness come over her as she stood there. With the knowledge that she had barely known Noelle for a day... so it was probably best for her to stand back for the moment.

Dawn didn't pay attention to the conversation just continued to fidget, but stopped when Noelle asked about Ultimecia. She frowned as she thought about it.

"Ultimecia?" Dawn asked as she thought, "Why is it that name sounds so familiar?"

{Kyle : Angel Grove : Outside Red Rose}

As soon as he'd felt the magic building up, he instinctively turned to Seymour, expecting some uber magic. Nope. It was all Alan there. Him and his summon. Not THAT was amazing. They'd even had a cool summoning contract and everything.

Bite me. So I didn't do some cool contract. I saved your life nonetheless.

Somebody's pouting right now.

I AM NOT!

Whoa. Calm down man. Don't get so jealous. So I thought it was cool. Who cares? He's got a blaze that doesn't want to die. I have the World Serpent. He who will kill Thor at the end of days. You are way better.

I AM clearly superior. But, what are you talking about? Who is Thor? Why am I the World Serpent?

Oh. Sorry. On Earth there is a mythology where it features the Midgardsormr, the Midgard Serpent. That's where I got that from. I like mythology. Ending with a nodding of his head, he turned to the girl beside him. "I'm Kyle. I suppose you could say that I'm a new member. And you are? What are you even doing here?" He said as he motioned for her to walk with him. Walking over to Alan, he simply held his hand up for a high five. "That was awesome Alan."

[Dani :: Angel Grove :: Outside the Red Rose]
Dani continued to walk with the man in silence waiting for an answer. He must have been too focused at protecting her at the moment. She then felt a huge amount of heart around her and actually started to look around.
Dani watched as many explosions seemed to envelope the heartless. “Wow that guy is good,” she thought to herself.

She then refocused her attention on the fact that the man had introduced himself as Kyle. Dani continued to follow Kyle in silence getting ready to collect her thoughts. As they walked they made it to a man named Alan who was the one who had summoned the fire.

“Well I guess to start of my name is Danielle but I prefer Dani,” Dani started off easily “To tell you the truth I don’t know how I ended up here. I don’t actually live on this island. I was from Earth but it got destroyed from the heartless I was then sent on a deep dive and got my chakrams which are my weapons. I then ended up here and I have been living here for now 6 days.” She then tensed up getting ready for the next part. “Today I was defeating heartless as usual when a weird power ranger attacked me!” she shouted angrily. “He had this weird blade and I had to take him one on with nothing but my chakrams. He was I believe called the Azure power ranger. Anyway, I managed to dodge him for awhile but got hit by a punch he delivered in the gut before he disappeared. I have been riding a bike here ever since.” She coughed as she finished her story still weak from the journey and hurt from the shot to the gut.

[Amy : Angel Grove : Outside the Red Rose]

The magic of friendly users burst around the battlefield. The flames and explosions caused Amy to cringe, but only at first. Once she realized where they came from, and more importantly that they were doing her no harm, she grew accustomed to them.

A heartless crept in, closer than the others. Thus far, Seymour's magic had kept them away from her immediate vicinity, leaving her free to attack from a distance. It was a shadow, a simple small shadow, and as she shot her left gun mere inches from its head it evaporated into black smoke.

And quite suddenly, it seemed, the fight was over. She looked over at Alan with a sense of apprehension and wonder. This was the first time, she could recall, of actually seeing a summon become a physical form and attack. She still didn't know what they were, or if she had one, although logic dictated if the other Earthlings did, surely she did as well... The thought didn't settle well with her.

This was her heart. She would share it with whom she chose. Not some... parasite attaching itself to her.

Now that was a mean thought.

She hadn't even noticed Kyla had been kidnapped. A rather large and important detail, but just like circumstance for her to be pre-occupied at vital moments. The new girl, however, she did notice. She saw her a small distance away, talking to Kyle. Seymour was in between her and the two of them, indirectly (off to the side, really), and she couldn't help but notice the look on his face after Alan had finished.

Kichi-Jon.

Amy's head snapped to the side, remembering. She ran over to his side, kneeling next to him. "Jon?" she asked, casting a hurried Cura, both hands held over him.

[Kichi :: Angel Grove :: Outside Red Rose]

Kichi didn't respond to Billy, or Kyle. Even Alan's charm communication didn't seem to have an effect...but when Alan started chanting, Kichi stirred. Finally as the magic went off, Kichi slowly opened his eyes. He felt his friends' care for him...fighting for him. He blinked, and slowly tried to get up, but fell back immediately, yelping in pain. That fall had done some decent damage.

Amy rushed over and cast Cura on him. "Thanks..." he muttered, before sighing. "How could I let that happen? ...How could I let him take her...?" His tone started out frustrated...but quickly degenerated into depressed. 'I'm...such a failure...' he thought.

'How so? With no knowlege of his intentions, and no way to fight head on, you did what you could do...what you had to do.' Bahamut's voice echoed through Kichi's head.

Kichi responded, not realizing he was also saying it aloud "So then I'm too weak..."

Bahamut spoke again. 'You don't have infinite power. You can't always be strong enough to save everyone. You know you're not the strongest person ever. And neither is Cory. You now know his power...what's left is to overcome it.' Kichi simply sighed again.

[Amy : Angel Grove : Outside the Red Rose]

"Take her?" Amy repeated. Take who? She looked up to where Kichi-Jon fell from, seeing nothing of importance. The clouds in the sky were moving, but it was still early enough that the sun wasn't glaring angrily down at her. It was kind of pretty, actually.

Completely off topic, but pretty.

She didn't understand his next words, confusing them for needing more healing. Too weak, still. He needs another healing spell. She cast a smaller Cure on him. "Better? Can you stand?" She stood up, offering a hand. "That was a long way to fall."

[Kichi :: Angel Grove :: Outside Red Rose]

Kichi looked at Amy, his stare absolutely dumbfounded at first, but quicly changing into one of disbelief, not that she'd see either expression. "Did you not even notice Kyla getting taken by that...that damn creep!?" He looked down again. "And I couldn't do anything to stop it..." He punched the ground before standing. "I'll have to be strong enough next time. To get her back...and to keep anything else from happening. I can't let myself be to weak again." It was like he hadn't even heard anything else she said.

[Amy : Angel Grove : Outside the Red Rose]

She couldn't see his face, but the tone of his voice spoke volumes. "I..." she trailed off, not having a rebuttal. Yeah, she missed it. Entirely. And now she felt stupidly guilty for it.

"... We've gotta get her back. Which way did they go?"
