Bo nodded quickly, then remembered she couldn't see. "Yes, that's right Miss." He then grabbed a styrofoam cup and handed it to her carefully, forgetting he didn't tell her how to prepare the tea.
Luli then walked over to help her brother, sensing his stress at this moment. "There are some tea bags here on the counter, and you'll find the hot water down at the the end. Would you like some honey or sugar?" She said as she handed her the correct tea bag to prevent her brother from feeling any more awkward.

Ari smiled. ”Cool, thanks!” she said, heading down to prepare her tea. ”I’d like sugar, please,” she said as she dunked the tea bag into the hot water. Luli was definitely a business woman, thought Ari. She hummed tunelessly as her fingers felt the edges of the cup. She might go meditate with Ever for a bit, if only to reduce some of her anxiety and general sadness.

Bo, in an attempt to regain some dignity, picked up several sugar cubes to hand to Ari. "Here you go Miss, hope you enjoy your tea. Have a nice day." He said with a grin, proud of his bravery at this very moment. Luli just rolled her eyes at him.

Ari laughed as she extended her gentle fingers, probing for his hand. She found it, and took the cubes. Plunking them in, she took a small sip. "You know, this isn't half bad! I might just become a Chai addict," she complimented him, smiling a genuine smile despite her mood. "Nice choice. I'll see you around," she said, and then went to go sit by herself to nurse her drink.

Bo smiled weakly as he watched her leave. Now that he was done with that, he continued to work the back area of the counter, letting his sister take care of the orders. And most important of all taking care of all the talking.

As she finished her tea, Ari felt meditation would be best. Waving in Bo's general direction, she tossed her empty cup in the recycle bin and headed the same way she had gone with Ever just yesterday. She hesitantly entered the calm room, taking off her shoes and placing them with her bag against the wall.
She had taken yoga classes with her mom, so she wasn't totally clueless. She found a stack of spare mats, and spread it in an open space on the floor. Stepping to the middle, she brought her palms together and began a 'Sun Salutation'.

{{And I'm back! I really needed the break this weekend. I want to thank all of you that listened to me vent on here Friday. I really needed that, and I really appreciated the kind words. I especially want to thank Rrine and Heaven91 for talking through everything with me and convincing me to come back! Sometimes people just need to hear that they're wanted and needed. smile }}
{{So let's get cracking again! I don't like seeing that the story stalled, but yet, it's nice to know that it moves faster when I'm on here. smile }}
Ever was just about to get in her lotus position when she looked up and saw Ari stretching as well. Awesome! Another person to join her!
Ever smiled, even though Ari couldn't see her, and greeted her.
"Hey Ari! It's great that you're joining us! Well, just me right now, but yesterday, Akira, Aurora, Altan and Kilala joined me. They might be coming later."
Ever laughed and scratched the back of her head. "Maybe I should start referring to those first three as A Cubed."

”Yeah,” Ari agreed, ”maybe.” It was clear from her tone of voice that something was upsetting her, or irking her. She just seemed unusually deflated and small. She took a deep breath in through her nose, and entered the ‘crow’ position after she had completed her Sun Salutation and passed through the Downward Dog pose.

Ever arched her eyebrow in confusion and curiosity at Ari's tone. She wondered if she should ask what was wrong now or wait until after they were done meditating. She didn't want to interrupt Ari... but technically, she wasn't meditating yet!
Ever spoke softly, "Uh, Ari, do you want to talk? I mean, if you want to wait until after meditation, I'd completely understand. Of course, if you don't feel comfortable talking with me since you barely know me, I'd understand that, too. Although, I'm more than willing to listen and I think everyone needs to have someone to listen to."

”It's really stupid," she muttered angrily, flowing through her poses rapidly now. She was actually quite flexible when she tried, and right now, she was pushing herself to her very limits. "Musica didn't show up today," she began, "... and he just dumped me off on Aurora last night. I hope he doesn't blame himself for what happened, but it sure makes me feel like a dumb-a**!" Ari's fluidity increased as her poses became more complex, and frustration entered her movements. "I could have a concussion or something! But no what does it matter? He's a frigging demigod he doesn't get concussions... and he can see!"
After trying to get into a rather difficult pose, her hand slipped and she collapsed in a heap upon her mat. She just lay there, breathing heavily upon her mat with her vacant eyes 'staring' at the ceiling as if it had committed a personal wrong against her. "I kissed him and everything!" she moaned, bringing her hands up to cover her face.

Ever had been wondering if Ari was a shapeshifter like Aurora was, but when she slipped on one of her poses, she quickly got rid of that idea. She gasped and quickly ran over to Ari and started to try and help unfold and untwist her.
As she was doing this, she responded to what Ari said. "You... you kissed him yesterday, after you had just met him that day?"
She tried to keep her tone casual and nonjudgmental. She really wasn't judging her. She was just hella surprised!

”Yeah, well,” she said as Ever untwisted her, ”It’s different for blind people. We don’t judge based on looks… since we’re blind and all. We usually go by personality, actions, and intentions behind the words. As far as personality and all that goes, Musica is pretty decent… that and I’d never kissed anyone before, ever!” she mumbled, embarrassed. ”It was just a small one, it’s not like we ate each other’s faces or anything… and he helped me see last night…” she whispered quietly, closing her eyes and remembering the people and the colors.
