Alex just stood there and stared down at him for a moment. A small smile on her face. She just couldn't get over it. He seemed so...heroic, in charge, and confident one minute. The next....heh. Like a school boy. Or would boyscout be a better image? Either way, he was definitely......something else. No one like she'd ever met before. And she.....really wasn't sure how she felt about that.

On the one hand, she felt like she wouldn't have to worry about him ever hurting her. Not like her last number of relationships had anyway. He was....a good guy. Really good. And he was sweet with kids. Not that she was looking to have any in the near future, but....that was a good quality to have.

...on the other hand how long would it take to get to that point? He just fainted after a kiss on the cheek. Not a promising start.
...of course....he was pretty...um...ready to go back at the hotel. Would he really have gotten very far though? She really had freaked out over nothing, hadn't she?

...what had she come in here to do again? Oh, right....leaving. She didn't want him to think that she had ditched him again, so she came looking for him, and....he gave her a kiss goodbye.

The smile on Alex's face grew as she looked down at him. Hesitantly, she bent down and gave him another kiss on the cheek. Had to admit...he was a sweet guy. And he'd saved her life a couple times already. He deserved quite a few of these.

She gave him one last look, then turned and headed back out of the room and towards the area Sapphire was in. She had work to do now...so she needed to get her head into work mode. Couldn't be thinking about Lucas when she needed to think....about....Batman....

....ah.

...oh....

......how long had it been since she'd been crushing on two guys at once?

Misty turned her attention back to her sibling. "I need to go over to Gotham to try and find some of the other heroes. I want you two to stay here and.....train." she replied.
At about that time her attention was drawn back towards the hallway as Alex entered the room again. A rather...distracted expression on her face. "Alex?" she asked.

Alex didn't respond. She called again and the girl finally blinked and looked up at her. "Hm? Sorry, I was....thinking. What did you say?" she asked.

Sapphire blinked this time. Alex wasn't usually so lost in thought that she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings at all. "....did you find your friend and tell him you were leaving?"

"Y-yeah. I did. He's.....taking a nap." Alex replied, her face turning a shade pinker.

"...I see. Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah." Alex replied, shaking her head clear. "Yeah, lets go." With that, she straightened her stance and headed straight for the door. Sapphire watched her walk past, glanced back at the hallway, then shook her head.

Alex stopped when he called out, and turned to look at the Stranger. "...oh." she blinked. "Alright. Yeah. Even better." she said as she walked back towards Stranger and Sapphire.

The Phantom Stranger nodded at Alex, and then said, "Do not be alarmed." As soon as he said that, all three of them faded out, until they simply weren't there anymore.

"That sounds good but.... i think i need to make some new costumes for me and talma first." madalyn said as she looked at the reglar clothing that she and talma had on.

"umm i was thinking more along the lines of i would be easier with our costumes to practice but our outfits are about three sizes to small." madalyn said as she looked at her sister.
