Cat's smile widened. "Oh, you have NO idea." To prove her point, she pulled out a rather large, lethal-looking grappling gun. God only knew from where. "And I have no problem with you paying," she added sweetly.

Peter shot a look at MJ, though it was difficult to tell what type through the mask. "'Handed me my butt' is too strong of a partial-phrase," he replied cheerfully, "I kind of prefer 'Got away,' or 'Has no sense of color coordination.'"

"Fair enough," Danny conceded, laughing a little. "But at least tell me this. There IS some kind of trick to it, right? I mean, your name isn't Iron Man, Doctor Strange, or anything that ends with 'Fantastic', so therefore defying the laws of physics isn't in your job description. Plus, this isn't some kind of cartoon or comic book, this is real life. There IS some kind of trick, right?"

"Estatic," said Danny with a smirk, turning in time to see the waiter coming back with both pizzas. Setting them both dowon the table, the waiter then apologised for the wait, they were very short-handed at the moment. Apparently, some of the other employees had started working at some other restaurants in the outside areas for some extra money, one of which had subsequently become the scene of a massacre, the other demolished, something about a clown in a purple dinner suit. He also added that if they needed anything at all, feel free to ask.

Cat listened with interest. Clown in a purple dinner suit? Huh. Bizarre. Actually, wasn't there a clown on that one cheesy TV show with Adam West? ... Better question. Who cared? Her attention once again completely on the pizza, Cat helped herself.

As the waiter walked away, Danny began eating his pizza, as well. Then, "Wait, wasn't there a clown in a dinner suit in that old, campy Adam West show?"
