Nathan gave a little groan. "Don't hold yourself back for me," he started, but stopped. Self depreciation could wait until later. In the meantime, he realized that without a shirt it was starting to get cold. Like, really. "Anna, I'll... I'll meet you for lunch or something, I am so freaking cold," he told her, before wrapping his arms around himself and moving off towards his room at a jog to get the blood flowing. He stopped jogging pretty quickly.

"Well yeah, I know that, but I can't just rely on luck, either. I mean, the only reason I got those last hits was because you didn't know about my other mysticker..."

((Sorry, but now I have to go. I should be back rather quickly.))

Crash shrugged. "And isn't that what combat is? Let's face it, there'll always be someone out there that can beat you in a fight. The element of surprise is one of our greatest tools. There's only so much that you can prepare for."
He stood, going to a glass case and looking into it. "Either way, good job today."

Blaine sighed, he supposed Crash was right. The element of surprise was, indeed, a great tool. Blaine stood, as if to leave, but noticed Crash heading to a glass case.
He leaned to try to get a look inside, "Thank you." Blaine said, acknowledging the compliment. It meant a lot coming from someone like Crash.

Mike tried to focus his mind honing it down as much as he could when he noticed something strange. The air he was breathing was fogging up. This confused him because he didn't feel cold at all. As these thoughts went through his head he lost concentration the mysticker deactivated. He nearly shivered as he felt a small breeze of cool air wash over him from where his hand had been. Apparently without realizing it he had at least activated his sticker a little bit. This filled him with confidence and he reactivated his sticker this time pouring even more concentration into it.

Inside the case, Blaine got a glance of a huge array of stickers. He was totally captivated.
"No problem," said Crash, as Blaine stood and came over. The younger man stood beside the huge Crash, looking as though hypnotized into the case.
"Like em?" Crash laughed. "My personal collection."

Blaine stared in muted amazement for a moment before snapping back to reality, "Wow...I never knew there were so many mystickers...I like..." he said quietly, nodding.
One in particular held Blaine's attention.

It was fashioned after a simple, round mirror with gold, ornate molding around it's edges. It had an almost heavenly look to it and it seemed to be calling out to Blaine, or so he believed. He couldn't take his eyes away from it and he felt compelled, almost commanded to ask: "Tell me about that one, Mirror."

The name, though it seemed obvious, came to Blaine as if he had known it his whole life.

Crash opened his mouth to speak, then froze. He looked over at Blaine and saw the look in his eyes.
"What did you just call it?" he asked slowly, looking into the case. The Sticker in question sat nestled among dozens of others, so it shouldn't call any undo attention to itself.

After going at it for a little while longer Mike was finally able to materialize a tiny prism. He felt as if the thing was a part of his mind, flowing with his thoughts and breathing in and out in tune with him, but he wasn't sure if that wasn't just his imagination. It was no where near as big as the one that Bitong had formed, but he was proud of it all the same. Besides he was sure that once he trained some more it would get bigger.

"That one." Blaine said, pointing it out, "Mirror, that's what it's called." he said. He too, wasn't exactly sure how he knew so definitely it's name.

Mike felt his control over the prism slowly slide away, and it disipated. It would take him much practice to hold it, let alone keep it going for an hour.

Crash had a strange look. "Yes, that's Mirror. I'm curious as to how you know that." He stepped a bit away, to the side of the case, and his hand dropped out of sight.

Blaine shrugged, "I honestly don't know." he said.
He felt invited to reach inside the case and raised his hand to do so, but he hesitated and looked at Crash.

Mike cursed himself for letting himself lose focus. He activated his sticker again focused noticing that even though it came a bit easier it felt like he was being drained. He almost let his focus slip thinking about this, but caught himself. He sat down indian style and focused more intently on his prism. He wondered how long he had held it last time. He knew it couldn't have been that long. Hopefully he'd be able to hold it even a little bit longer this time.
