Kay finally having collected enough of the herbs she needed in the sack, collapsed next to a tree and leaned against it. Taking a deep breath she closed her eyes. We wait... You know you want to letssss usssss go... Free usssss... Jussssst relaxxx... Letsss usssss take over.... Kay's eyes scrunched as she fought the voices. Feeling her resistance they faded off into the background. We'll wait... Deciding to rest there for a bit, and to stay out of camp for as long as possible, Kay just listened to the forest around her... And heard giggling nearby. Groaning, she couldn't believe that they had still followed her all the way out here. Were teens ever this pushy before the end of the world?

"I didn't necessarily mean for me... don't you think Kay would want to help find a cure, or at least a neutralizer for the virus? She seems to have already had the same idea anyway, if she used her blood on you." Luke said, and then slowly stood up, his head ache hadn't lessened much, but he tried his best to ignore the pain. He nodded though and agreed "We should head back now... but who knows, maybe we will at least get a vaccine out of this?"

Kimmi sighed. "If I agree to be a guinea pig, we have to at least have Kay close. I don't want to become a hazard to the camp." She snorted and made a motion the the bite mark. "Though honestly I can't guarantee I'm not already." She yawned again. "Tomorrow. Here where the others can't see." She said with a weary sigh. "I suppose it's the least I can do since half of me started all this." She led the way down the stairs and out the window, heading for the lift.

Fillup sat near one of the campfires, leaning back against a rock, thinking about their situation again. His mood was better than the last time he'd done any thinking, so he wasn't ready to shoot himself "Well, we're not going to stay here after all..." he mumbled. Sarg looked at him from across the fire "Eh? What do you mean exactly Fill?" he asked. "Well, we can't for one. We're too stationary, so eventually, every dead-head will end up making its way to us. When we're moving, we're safer...." Fillup scratched his head, blowing a small bubble then letting it deflate before he continued "And think about it Sarg, whaT guarentee is there that those things won't get through the barricade and foam and doors and everything? We could die in our sleep if they did...." he frowned and poked the fire with a stick. "Well, that's a fair trade for not having to always be running around, the threat of running out of gas in the desert looming over our heads!" Sarg shot back. "We could head for the north, maybe the Dakotas?"

Kimmi hit the button for the lift and sighed as they reached the top. She dragged Luke to the edge of the camp and quickly started ducking around the gunner to sneak him back in.

Kay groaned as two of the teens from eariler came stumbling out of the brush, obviously having found some way to get ahold of the alcohol her and Khana had been chugging. "OMG!" One of them screamed, jumping up and down. The pair burst into laughter as the tumbled to the ground when took a step toward her. I really don't need this right now, Kay thought groaning as one of the girls invaded her personal bubble by getting right up in her face. "Yep! It's her!" the other one agreed, poking Kay in the face. Whoa! Kay thought as the smell hit her, the smell of alcohol was to much for anyone with in 10 miles to miss.

Sarg and Fillup went back and forth over the topic of moving the remaining survivors. Fillup never budged an inch, but Sarg seemed to wane when he realized most of the survivors would follow Fillup. "Fine, fine, we'll start scouting to the north and get ready to move in a day or two" Sarg grumbled. Fillup smiled and stood up, walking around the fire and patting Sarg on the shoulder "Thanks for sticking with me Sarg, don't know what I'd do with out you" he said, cheerily as possible. Sarg grumbled a not-too-nice reply, but Fillup ignored it and decided that it was time to do his rounds. Seeing the survivors' faces was always the best way for him to see things through the eyes of a regular person. Without realizing it, Fillup headed towards a particular part of the camp cast in shadows by the tents. He kicked a pebble into the darkness, seeing a gunner standing at his post "Nice night eh?" "Yeah, little chilly..." "Seen anything?" "Not much, maybe a squirrl passed by about an hour ago, but it was driving a car...so I'm not sure if it was real or not..." Fillup laughed at that, searching for the slightest bit of humor he could find, no matter how dry or used up. He smied at the gunner and noticed a pair of shapes moving around them, a dozen feet or so away. "Hey! You better not be dead!" Fillup growled, pulling out his combat knife and .22 and heading towards the shadows.

"Not yet." Kimmi replied loud enough for Fillup to hear. "Damn bubbles and his good eyesight." She muttered to Luke. "Just going back to my tent." She explained pushing Luke so that they were both backing further into the shadows away from him. "Had to take care of some girl business." She gave him a laugh. "Do you really have come at me with a gun and a knife?"

Fillup raised an eyebrow "Not really, but I would rather be ready for a dead-head or an immoralistic theif" he said with a frown. He craned his neck to get a look at Kimmi, and whatever she was hiding "What were you doing again?" he asked, crossing his arms after putting his weapons away.

"Girl stuff." She answered making sure the keep Luke in the dark and behind her. Technically she wasn't lying, since she was doing this for Khana. Frying chips in your sister figure's lover's head so they can't kill you was a girl thing right? If not it was a hacker thing, she'd try that next.

Luke just followed Kimmi silently, the silence was welcome because of his head ache, and he wasn't feeling very talkative anyway.. However, once they were spotted by, Bubbles? Did she call him?... He wondered if he could get away with it. He did look more human now, his skin was still grayish but it was less obvious. He wasn't going to say anything yet though since Kimmi was already trying to hide him and it would be suspicious if he revealed himself now.
Khana woke up before she had gotten much sleep, or much rest or that matter. She got up slowly and stretched, then walked out of her tent. And, while she knew it was a stupid idea, she went overt to one of the supply trucks and opened up the secret hatch on it. "WHAT THE ********> she yelled loudly enough to draw the attention of everyone nearby. "WHO TOOK MY s**t!?" she practically screamed, she was taking out all of her stress right now, so yes, she was overreacting a little bit. About half of her remaining stash of booze was gone, and it had already been low... And about half of the gunners knew what she mean too, and one of them told her he had seen a couple of drunk teens going into the woods, and she immediately stormed off in that direction.

"Youuuu." the girl in Kay's face slurred, poking her in the nose. "Are you hard person to find." And you're plastered, Kay thought trying to back up from the girl but being blocked by a tree at her back. "We want you to party with us!" the other one shouted spining as she tumbled back to the ground laughing hysterically. I'm not made for this... Kay thought with a sigh.

By the time Khana found them annoying the crap out of Kay, she had calmed down a bit, but was still pissed. She walked right up to the one that was still standing and slapped her right across the face, hard... it had taken a lot of will power to keep from punching her too. "New lesson girly, do not touch my stash!" They really needed to learn too, the whole group was way out of line, and they needed to learn really fast who not to mess with. She didn't understand why Kay was taking this either.

Fillup looked at Kimmi, apparently not bying it "Right, out in the dark, by yourself, and without any other girls" he frowned "That's what you do right? Run off with other girls to do girl stuff?" his frown grew. He'd not had alot of experiance with girls in his life, even though he was twenty two. He had never bothered to care really, and this was never an area he was stong in interrogation. "Nevermind, just warn someone next time you creep off to do 'girl stuff" he said, his frown not lessening a bit. He waved a hand to the campfires and mumbled something about seeing Kimmi later.

When Khana slapped the girl standing across the face and started yelling, the one invading Kay's personal space was distracted. Using that to her advantage, Kay slipped around the girl and stood up a good 5 feet from her and dusted off. "Do you really have to be so violent with them Khana? They won't remember any of this in a couple of hours." Kay stated, lighting a cigarette. "Besides. From what I hear give them a couple of days with Cookie and they'll be in tip top shape." she said smiling. Playing the part of the collected and sane zombie slayer... she thought as she took a long draw of her cigarette. The two girls had yet to react, they were both still in shock from Khana's sudden apperance.
