I'm taking French in school, so I'm not too good. My first year was last year...so, I hope you don't mind me asking questions every once in a while?

Hey guys, I'm new here to the guild. I took French for 4 years in high school and 1.5 years of advanced study in college. I'd love to answer any questions anyone has and engaged in some lively dicussion!

I've been studying French for 5 and a half years now. My final exams are in about a month. I'll hopefully be able to keep studying it at Uni, because I don't want to lose it. sad But I don't know if I'm really good enough. >.> And there's not a whole lot of -point- studying French in Australia... so expensive to travel to Europe. gonk But I love it anyway. heart

My dad says the French are weirdos. xd Or was it the British that were weirdos and the French were crazies...Whatever. I still wanna learn French though.

Sometimes they have somewhat wonky translations, but it's a lot more reliable than a translator... and they sometimes have verb conjugators too. biggrin

i'm studying French as my second language.i've been taking it randomly throughout my middle school years 2 or 3years and then consistantly in high school as of my sophmore year.i plan on taking it all 4years of high school.i'm actually very good at french, when i was in 8thgrade my teachers told me i spoke with a french accent.o.O although i have no clue why since i've never been out of the US, as of yet.xD.I would be better fluently if i had actually wanted to learn it when i was in middle school instead of just picking up random words,because i never thought to pursue it.-.-" anyhow anyone here been to France yet?o.o.my french teacher scheduled a trip to france for all the 2nd year and up french students, to go to France for 15days or so.I'm seeing about going, and was curious if anyone else had been there?
