Seph scratched her head thinking it over "Maybe a little sad at first, though nowhere near as sad as Jenna would be if you made her part with Boco. I mean Chobi would get over it and she's a talkative little chocobo so we could always find her another friend on your chocobo farm over the festival and maybe bring them along for company" she suggested knowing that she would be pretty miserable if she had to give Chobi back.
Alpha raised an eyebrow surprised at Jenna's reaction "Didn't expect you to go all moral on that one. They aren't all rigged, some are just made stupidly difficult to win the top prize or to let one every say... 10-15 customers win. Depends on the person running it really and my kid doesn't run the stalls so no point in lecturing her about that" he shrugged fighting back a yawn. "Well contortionism is what it involves but that is simply a term for someone who can do really bendy things. Yeah that one surprised me too" he snickered.
Hebal gasped rapidly shaking her head "No no no no no no! You gotta enjoy yourself too while on the pilgrimage because nothing in life should be all work and no play. Side journeys are fine and life is too short to be working all the time when you don't have thousands of years time on your hands" she lectured him as she flung him up into the air and caught him. "Do your musicians at least take requests?"

Felina paused glancing over to the side nearest the edge of their current platform "Yeah I get you which is why I have been keeping Cid dead close to me most of the time during our stay and as for Hebal, well theres hundreds of gria who are ready to catch any potential fallers from the sky and I trust that they would do a good job" she assured him checking her pet was still in her bag quickly. "Wonder if we're standing on a cloud under this pavement" she pondered.
Satoshi laughed slightly impressed with their friend's dancing "Haha nice moves though I dunno if I would feel all that comfortable being tossed about if I were Zadina" she whispered watching the flip before she spun herself around "You are allowed to dislike one or two of the clones even if they are a part of me, I know theres one or two I would love to punch at times"

Oassu smiled "Thats a funny thought, hope the cloud doesn't mind" he snickered "Still I'm sure your right though don't think I'd like to settle down here, even if it is perfectly safe would niggle at me, specially if we have our own kids running around this place" he said.
Gil smiled "Well we'll need to see but they've all been perfectly nice to me so I don't have any reason to dislike them, hopefully remain that way would be nice to be friends with all the cute little clones when they are out and about" he said.
Itaka nodded understanding "I suppose you're right guess we can pick another to take with us if necessary, can consider it a gift since they came all the way out here to find us, still we're not taking Volg with us, he's needed on the farm and probably would snap being cooped up with Chobi all day" he said.
Jenna pouted "I used to love those little carnival games as a kid but was never any good at them, now I know why but you should tell her anyway maybe she can try and persuade her colleagues or you could when down there" she said.
Barbaros glanced out the window absently "Well I'm sure thats a fun thing to do, a family friend back home had a kid get into that thing after seeing it at a magic show." he groaned "Kid spent ages giving his mother heart attacks by bouncing out of cupboards lofts and bins for fun" he said shaking his head.
Zadina gasped carefully settling down after being thrown up in the air before straightening out his clothes "Please Miss Hebal it's not appropriate for an elven noble to dance that way" he giggled "But of course they do requests assuming they have the appropriate instruments and you give them 15 minutes to have a little practice at the song if they are unfamiliar with it" he said returning to dance with Hebal

Seph snickered shaking her head in disbelief "Ok ok we wouldn't take Volg with us though I highly doubt Chobi would drive him crazy. She's a lovely chatty chocobo and like any happy awesome one she likes to socialise" she defended the bird as she started to follow the strings of rainbow lights placed on the buildings nearby. "If we do pick another, just think that we could go riding together more often when it's safe enough anyway"
Alpha smirked giving Jenna a pat on the head "There there, if the carnival people thought you were cute enough they would have lowered the difficulty for you anyway. Could have just stole a prize too. Mu was always good at hiding like that, kinda felt sorry for Psy growing up playing hide and seek with her since there were so many tiny cupboards and spaces to lurk in for hours at a time" he grinned.
Hebal sighed spinning herself around "Aww you elven nobles miss out on all the cool dance moves then but in that case... maybe I can teach some of your musicians to play one or two of the songs that I've made up while travelling about. Some would sound awesome with an orchestra" she plotted thinking over instruments.

Felina giggled quietly "I don't think Mr. Cloud really gets a choice on whether or not people walk on him regardless of preference. It makes me really curious as these clouds don't seem to move about or fill up with water and stuff. Theres no magic I know that can create such an effect. And nah I wouldn't want to have kids running around here when theres so many other nice towns and forests on the ground we could live in"
Satoshi smiled deciding against telling Gil she had deliberately been keeping him as far away as possible from some of her more extreme clones "Good luck with it then, but if your too good they will all want to spend time with you and you'll be mobbed by dozens of clones all trying to hold your hands" she joked.

Oassu smiled "it's probably just an artificial cloud or something, maybe just steam from the machines keeping this city afloat, would help hide the city's location I'll bet" he said as the bus pulled away "Would explain why it looks and acts kinda funny after all regular clouds would disperse but bet that one doesn't" he said.
Gil chuckled "Well I think that sounds kinda nice and fun but if you insist, not like I'm going to mistreat you or any of them, me and Enkidu will do our duty to protect you should you need us" he said spinning around in time with the music.
Itaka nodded "Yeah...thing is Volg kind of likes his peace and quiet....and is much more grumpier than Boco was" he said spying what Seph was looking at "The festival lights are quite pretty aren't they?" he asked stroking Seph's wing gently.
Jenna grunted "Thanks for saying I wasn't a cute kid, but wasn't in the mood to steal from a carnival I liked them too much and they were rare treat" she said "Though Mu sounds like she could be a useful asset to a thieves guild if she can wait that long and hide so well" she pondered.
Barbaros frowned "Agreed but I can't imagine why anyone would wanna wait in a tight space for so long" he said "I certainly couldn't bear it, mind you big man like me is long past his days of hiding and seeking" he chuckled.
Zadina giggled "I'm sure though I don't have a whole Orchestra Miss Hebal though you are welcome to teach me some of your dances or traditional Viera dances" he said dancing with Hebal again

Alpha shuddered a little "Nah you probably just didn't put on enough crocodile tears as a kid. She's already done the whole thief thing a while back. Didn't like the feeling of potentially getting caught and to be honest I'm kinda glad I don't have any chance of needing to bail her out. She wasn't a big fan of hiding and doing nothing all day but did like to torment her brother" he muttered hoping he hadn't offended Jenna too much.
Seph nodded rubbing her eyes "Yeah the lights are really something for the ceremony. Makes me wonder if I just haven't noticed them the past few nights or have they been up just recently" she pondered taking hold of Itaka's arm "We'll probably need to take a chocobo that doesn't scare easily too considering the amount of trouble Oassu and Felina like getting us into.
Hebal shook her head snickering quietly to herself "Trust me Zadina if that throw wasn't appropriate from earlier then maybe it's not a good idea to teach you the different viera dances or at least not in public. Plus you would need to get me a flute and a tamborine and other various instruments" she explained not thinking Zadina would like the dances anyway.

Satoshi let out a laugh taking a guess of what came into Gil's mind "I'm betting right now the thought of a clone under each of those arms doesn't seem like a bad idea from your poinr of view. Maybe if your lucky one day you'll get that treatment" she told him half seriously as she swayed with him to the music as the song sped up "I would like to think it won't be too often that I need you for protection but its nice to know you're both present"
Felina jumped surprised by the sudden burst of speed from the bus as it pulled away from the platform "Well I would rather not see the machines as I think that would take away the whole floating city mystic illusion thing it has going on. If it were real cloud it so wouldn't be strong enough I guess though I think it would be a little funny if we were sitting on a rain cloud. Imagine if we could just look down on a thunderstorm" she grinned at the thought

Gil nodded "Well it would be a nice treat and I know you can take care of yourself but if I ever have to go away on a mission or something I know you'll be fine but can just send me a letter if you ever want me back and I'll take steps to be there" he said.
Oassu adjusted his beret as the bus sped off "Well yeah it would be something pretty special though I don't know how much you'd be able to see with the city in the way, the Gria must really owe the moogles a lot for making this skycity, as far as I know they are the only ones with the technology." he said.
Jenna's eyes widened in surprised "Oh she was a thief? Whereabouts?" she asked smiling "Though sounds like she chickened out too early, it can have big rewards to match the risk just like with any profitable venture" she said relaxing to the buses' gentle vibrations from the engine.
Barbaros snickered "Ya I'll bet her brudda hated her for that still you be goin to see that other kid this time if you can Alpha?" he asked leaning forward to look past Jenna and out the window at the lights.
Itaka smiled stroking Seph's shoulder "Hey are you tired? We could always call it an early night if you like" he said spotting Seph rubbing her eyes "And fat chance if you think we're taking chocobo's out with us when it's dangerous Boco is a special case but Chobi doesn't normally join us in battle so I don't intend for any of the others to need to, can just stay on the airship." he said.
Zadina sighed "Awww it was kinda fun too but nevermind" he said yawning "The big ceremony will begin soon and we can watch all those fire jugglers from before down there in the arena" he said glancing over to the window beside the booth they were eating in "I hope they have really fancy fireworks too!" he chirped excitedly

Alpha shook his head leaning back and closing his eyes "Nah, apparently theres too many sick people around Psy's neighbourhood for him to come spend the festival as a family" he explained thinking of rereading the letter he reeived that was tucked away within his wallet. "Mu is impulsive but not a risk taker so it's no surprise to me that thieving wasn't for her. Worked in some thievs guild organisation thing in Graszton. Same kingdom as where you work just different city" he shrugged.
Seph yawned and stretched her arms out in front of her "I'm just a little tired but not especially sleepy. Besides no matter how tired I was I wouldn't want to miss the fire works and probably would be kept up by them or Chobi wailing at them using it as an excuse to get that little bit extra attention" she smirked.
Hebal nodded diving to the floor performing the splits as she landed "The fireworks are gonna be awesome though I packed some ear plugs in case they get too noisy for me. But are there really gonna be fire jugglers? Coool can't wait to see that along with more musicians and dancers and I dunno what other entertainment there could be... balloon makers?" she thought hoping secretly for a bunch of balloon flowers.

Felina scratched her head before placing Cid down on her lap now there was no chance of him running off somewhere dangerous "Yeah thogh makes me wonder what went on here, do you reackon that gria may have invaded thos place and it was once a moogle city" she suggested trying to explain how they got their technology.
Satoshi's grin widened as she leaned in for a kiss "I'll try not to pester you too much on missions then, wouldn't look to good if you had to randomly abandon some important missions for me. Still it looks like you'll get your prize soon though the judgemaster doesn't look all that happy for some reason" she noted pointing to a somewhat grumpy Evori with her helmet off ushering people into another room with the red carpet leading to it.

Oassu frowned returning his attention to Felina "Thats kinda grim don't you think? I doubt the Moogles would be so welcome and friendly here as to have their own district if they had conquered this place by force. Granted Gria are some of the few who could take a moogle skycity but I'd always thought it was a matter of diplomacy that they got this city." he said.
Gil smiled "Yeah it would but you're one of my top priorities now so don't hesitate to call me if I'm away" he said glancing over at the Judgemaster while applauding the band who had stopped playing "Well she's probably just irritated about the proceedings and all must be a hassle at the end" he said shrugging before moving towards Hebal and Zadina
Jenna sighed "Pity, I bet she could do some really impressive things with her talents though my guild did have some allies in Graszton, don't really care to go back there, Agralia is a better city anyway" she said with a shrug.
Barbaros rolled his eyes "Hey now watch you mouth my wife came from Graszton and she loved it there, still goes back every few weeks to say hi to the parents, made me watch the kids then" he sighed knowing it would be eating into his funds if she was hiring a babysitter while away "Still hope your little boy is ok, don't really wanna think about being caught in a plague" he said.
Itaka smiled "Chobi is just like that, was kinda pampered being a gold chocobo so she's used to loads of attention but she'll be fine playing with Boco anyway for now I'm sure" he said nuzzling Seph "Still she coulda turned out worse, I hear the most prized chocobos of the rich are so pampered they don't run and just spend all day sitting on pillows being attended to" he sighed hoping he'd never see such a lazy chocobo.
Zadina let out a small "ooooh" in admiration of Hebal "Wow Miss Hebal that was a really good move right there and good thinking about the earplugs maybe I should have brought some." he said waving to Gil and Satoshi "But the balloon makers are outside but I read about this festival before it has fire jugglers and gymnasts and all kinds of cultural performers putting on displays in the arena when it begins I think" he said vaguely recalling Elithana talking about the festival when younger.

Alpha shrugged not too concerned about the situation "Considering the fact he'll probably have a whole crate of medicine to himself I highly doubt the plague would be too much of a big deal should he actually catch it unlike most people out there. Personally I don't mind Graszton, the people are friendlier than the Agralian folks thats for sure. In general that is, no offence or anything"
Seph laughed having seen chocobos like that "Trust me the ones that lazy aren't prized anymore. They get really fat to the point they make that legendary fat chocobo look like he's starving. As if I'm going to spoil Chobi that muh though" she told him resisting the urge to claw the fabric of the seat while she waited.
Hebal paused giving the band a last round of applause noticing people were changing rooms "Ooh I wonder where they are taking us now, do you reackon theres a better view or something within that room" she wondered noticing the crowd being redirected. "If not I have scouted this room good so I now where all the best places are to go stand or sit in order to see the special performences and more. I'll make sure we'll see the gymnasts and all perfectly" she stated hoping it was almost start time.

Felina paused scratching her ear more confused before. "But the gria have all kinds of sky towns and sky cities scattered about so I doubt the moogles just gave them all away so I would say its either... gria invaded, stole the moogles technology secret or the moogles shared it with them" she muttered wishing she knew more. "Will have to check out all that when back home, the library is so big that theres bound to be at least one book explaining it"
Satoshi joined in with the clapping while she moved towards Hebal and Zadina "Have you got some job in mind that you wish to go to? Or some lead on that sword you've been looking for" she wondered based on the conversation. "Hey you two guess we're going to get the prizes now, though the judgemaster could still try and look happy even if having to do stressing levels of work"

Oassu shook his head "I don't think the moogles would lose they have too many ranged weapons whereas Gria excel up close due to their poor magic "I still think it could be due to an alliance they've been friends for a long time after all. You elves may be one of the oldest races but Gria descended from dragons so they are pretty old too" he said smiling satisfied as the bus passed a stop without stopping seeing as no one wanted off or on.
Gil shook his head "Well you don't need to know the details but it's probably best if I do some work after the dragon festival, keep my affairs and funds in order you know?" he said linking arms with Satoshi "But come on lets get this over with" he said.
Barbaros chuckled "Boy will be living like a king in his town with that kinda currency but yeah Graszton is a little more laid back, being so close to Agralia many peoples move there for work since it's where the government is and that causes all kindsa hassle everyday" he said
Jenna nodded "Alex also shut down the thieves guilds in Graszton too trying to shut them all down but no matter we can just take our business elsewhere and...." she folded her arms grudgingly "He gets to boast about how crime is down across the nation to get the common people on his side" she sighed.
Itaka grimaced not enjoying the mental picture "I'm sure you could try and spoil Chobi as much as you wanted she'd probably just burn all the fat off with her energy" he said sitting back relaxed "Will be nice to get back to the farm though, finally have someone to share the big bed with" he said.
Zadina frowned "I'm not sure I'd have thought we'd have had the best view over there by the window" he said making a quick dash to retrieve his half-finished drink before they left the room "Still I'm sure it's going to be fine lets all hurry along now" he said offering Hebal his arm to link with.
