Wolffy000 Hey Pasta Gah! I suck at these hints they're giving us for the items. D: The only one I'm pretty sure about is the whole "all around you, even though you only think of it being above" thing being the sky, or air. BAH. I'd say a rose, but since they just did that... I like roses and all, but I'd much rather have a box of chocolates. Flowers say "get well" or "I'm sorry." Chocolate says "I love you, and I'll still love you when you gain ten pounds from gorging on these sweets." 3nodding *looks at all of the dead, dried, pressed roses in the room* Besides, I'm running out of space for these. I tend to save one flower from every bouquet I get. I should get rid of some... Just keep the one I got at my highschool graduation and the one really pretty long-stemmed one I got a couple years ago for Valentine's Day.

Wolffy000 Yeah, but then they would have to give us a river too. And Vanilla Ice might make Chris Farley a little less cool. Perhaps...Freddie Mercury? Oh god, the more I think about it the more that makes sense. Vanilla Ice did use that riff, and NOTHING can make Queen any less cool. So... what? Some kind of royal crown and scepter? ... There's a naked kewpie doll on my Gaia. ._.

Though, if I was to get anything, I do prefer food I suppose. And nah, Crowns and scepters are pretty done with the casino and all. It has to be something different. Not a guitar, since we have those too. Maybe a new mic? I sort of doubt it, but it's a possibility. Maybe some kind of facial hair? I don't know. Bicycles and horses come to mind for me, but it just doesn't seem likely.

Rayinte, that's exactly what I always say! I really don't get what's so great about dead flowers, all you can do with them is watch them wither away.

Rayinte Beh. Chocolate > dead plants. if someone MUST give me plants, I prefer when they're still attached to their roots. xp I don't. Otherwise I have no excuse when they die. x_X *overwaters everything*

I just like getting gifts I suppose, and flowers at least seem nice. But yeah, I'm not one much for taking care of plants either.
I wonder why flowers and chocolates became staples anyway? I mean, I always liked steamed meat buns and stuff like that.

Hmm... the celebration of Zeus and Hera's marriage makes sense. I mean, I never believed that whole thing about the guy who married Roman military men, but Valentines' obviously dates back before Hallmark Cards.
And the naked men hitting things would explain the stupid Cupid on my Gaia right now. Mmm... sounds kinda SM'ish. And Cupid is the son of Zeus in some legends, although it seems like nobody can agree on his parentage. As much as Zeus got around... I wouldn't put it past him.

Eros/Cupid ends up the son or father of most everything at some point or another. I gave up trying to straighten that one out at all. Though this made me laugh. Quote: The court dealt with love contracts, betrayals, and violence against women. Judges were selected by women on the basis of a poetry reading. Great way to choose a judge.

I think the only reason I wouldn't mind either flowers or chocolate or just plain ANYTHING is because I've never received anything on Valentine's day. All my "relationships" (if you can even call the last three that rolleyes ) were never .. relationships .. when v-day was about, and the one relationship I was in when it was v-day was.. well, he wasn't that much of a romantic, and it was long distance so he never sent me anything. It was also when we were both young, I was 14-15 and he was a couple years older so actually sending something may have been hard anyway, what with parents and money (or lack thereof). xp
This year might be the first year I get a break though! =O ... but I don't know what to get him ARRRRR!
