Laura was asleep groaning for Tony the whole time. She finally woke up and sat up. She looked around and blinked. "Was it just a dream?" She asked herself.
"I don't know. Was it?" The doctor asked. We removed all of the bullets. We also found something interesting in your back." The doctor said. "One of the bullets hit it." It was a chip. "We did a dozen scans. We found three." The doctor said. "We thoroughly checked. That's all of them."
"Damn it! So that's how those bastards kept finding me!" Laura yelled. She took a deep breath.
"We even checked around the bones. No more chips. We patched you up, though you were healing fairly fast." The doctor said.
"Thank you." Laura said reluctantly. She still hated doctors. Laura got up, grabbed her sword, and walked out of the room. Her back was still hurt, but pretty much healed up. She walked down the hall looking for Juno's room.

((I suppose Laura could be getting info on Angel and Tiffany and looking for them again. I don't know when Bread will ever get back on...))



((Nothing much involving your characters, sereniy. Juno and Laura saved the Don from assassination while he was trying to make a business deal with Felipe. Danave and Laura wound up in this bulding and almost killed each other until the government agents found Laura (yet again) and the two of them escaped))


"I see. Will you call back once you get your information?" Giovanni asked Felipe through the phone. He was getting tired of these pesky interruptions.


Tony was just happy his granduncle was still alive.



Anthony was still snoring.

((Ok. I'm going to make a post in a minute so I can put Laura out of the way until I come back. ))

Felipe chuckled.

"I'm sure that was him," he replied, using the sparkle of laughter in Sami's eyes as assurance. His voice had an amused undertone. "He didn't cause you any trouble, did he?"

Sami beamed and turned to Tony, throwing herself into his chest with joy. She had seriously been worried about Danave - bad luck seemed to follow Laura wherever she went, and if some of that had rubbed off on Danave...

It didn't bear thinking about.

After visiting Juno, she went to her apartment and wrote a letter. She went to the bar and drank. The bartender said nothing. Laura left silently, leaving a tip. Laura left back to the hospital section. She took the three nano chips that were hidden inside of her and left the building. She went home and walked in the door, calling for Lawliet.

"What is it?" Lawliet asked.

"I need a scan." Laura said, ignoring the nurses. "They found these. They did a few scans but I need to be sure." She told Lawliet. He was silent for a moment, then nodded in agreement.

"You'll need to leave to. When they find out, they may swarm back to New York." Lawliet said.

"Not if I do something... cruel back." Laura smirked.

"And Tony?" Lawliet asked.

"I'll try calling later." Laura sighed. "Anyway, we're going to send these to different countries. Places that the USA can't reach." Laura smirked.

"Alright then." Lawliet sighed. Lawliet did a thorough scan and found no more chips. "That's all of the chips."

"Good..." Laura sighed. She handed Lawliet the chips. Lawliet put them in envelopes and sent them on express mail to different countries the US wasn't fond of. Laura grabbed her sword and walked into the other room. She took another shower and changed cloths again. She repacked her bag and sheathed her sword. She was on her way out when Lawliet caught up with her.

"Laura, the merchandise came in. It's in the garage." Lawliet smiled.

"Cool. I'll go check it out." Laura smiled.
