The posts in Hidden Waterfall aren't that graphic, nor do I plan them to ever get that graphic. If it were more graphic then I would agree that it would need to be whited out, moved to PM, or fade to black on. I will tell you though, I don't believe something should be typed if it needs to be whited out, and I am proud of my work on my posts. Be them semi-ecchi like in Waterfall, or brutally graphic for a kill. -normally tames his kill scenes, but there are some in guild that are graphic-

stare Yes we whine about a person kissing a chest, when in the show the main character and his child fans turn into naked women and bounce/rub their assets together....and hell... even Konohamaru motorboats Tsunade's boobs.... Riiiight... um.... your suggestion is noted, but... Im probably not going to limit myself or my word count because of some high moral standard you seem to put forth... and it wont be forced on me either.

PS: Everything written in Hidden Passion is worse than Waterfall and even that's tame compared to the stuff ive seen on Gaia RPs.

Hmm, it'd take too long to infect an item description, guess I'll just have to settle for the fact that as long as Momo uses that, there's no way she could actually defeat Teufel. So a stalemate. And as the universe is so willing to prove, entropy wins in a tie. A Clockwork Orange, though, that could be fun.

As far as the discussion toward what is or is not considered adult matter in the posts here in the guild, all I have to say is: What offends one person is not necessarily what is offensive to another. Different parts of the world have different values. Beyond that, it all comes down to the guild's guidelines, and basic sense. 'Cybering' has always been a vague word, and as such merely bandying it around solves little. While the topic may not necessarily be considered safe for all audiences, I have yet to see any post in this guild that is truly offensive to the point of needing deleting or censorship. As a comparison, liken the posts in question to the steamier scenes from a daytime soap opera. Those can be watched by anyone, even children much younger than the PG-13 rating of Gaia, and the shows themselves are generally rated lower than similar shows aired during the night. I'll avoid going on the tangent of how intercourse, or even that which leads up to it, is so much more pernicious than bloody violence. Instead, all I can say is 'if you don't like it, don't take part in it. And if you are taking part, then it could be worthwhile to put a notice at the start of the post, to let those who wish to avoid such things have proper warning.

I like to think that anyone who has become a part of this group is mature enough to handle themselves responsibly, to not go overboard or cause problems where they may easily spiral into something unpleasant. But that's just me, and I realize that differing values can't really be solved by simple discussion. Live and let live, and all that. Not trying to add fuel to the fire, just tossing in my two cents.

Come on, now~. Hidden Passion isn't that bad. It's a village where you make it what you make it. They are big on that tricky three letter word, but so can anyone from any other clan because that aspect isn't clan or village exclusive. The village talks about doing the thing and intimate encounters, but you don't have to make everything laying with someone. An intimate encounter can be two people that are in love with each other and are spending a day together holding hands and staring into each others eyes. Even an Eros can be seen in a different light, just someone that enjoys the company of others in a special way, instead of being the town's play thing. Then you can take it further and do more with that, but you don't have to. You can just keep doing that 'innocent' interaction or give someone a nice peck on the cheek. People make the choice to make Hidden Passion more mature content than it needs to be just with the little mention of the s'word. Transitioning from foreplay or first meetings to after the act is fine, even saying that you and that person interacted in that way without even having a transition works too. So I don't see why the village gets called out so much by people that are against something that exists in everyday life. You can just as easily do whatever someone from Hidden Passion can through another clan or worse--not going too far beyond the site rules. It's just there it can be used for something more than just inspiration for a lengthy rp or just to type something of that nature for a change. Not telling people to change their minds, just be aware that it's all over the place. Hidden Passion just broadcasts it and gives perks if you do. I actually made Made Ups so I can kiss people and that's enough. But I suppose if the village isn't liked, as some others have commented on it, it can be changed or removed with the decisions of the mods.


Not going to go too deep into the issue about content. I will say that if I had to agree with just one point then I would agree with Hedoro. The issue has only been brought up by one individual so far as well. So I'm not too keen on the idea of restricting their posts because of the first individual to have an issue with it. So beyond people maybe labeling their posts if it may be mature content, eh. But that will be dependent on if they see it as mature. Because, to piggyback off of Hedoro, people view things differently. So this may not solve the problem too well. But I don't see the content as offensive and there haven't been very many complaints so that's as far as things go. All in all, be careful when reading. if it's something you aren't comfortable with then steer clear for now. Maybe the mods can come up with a reasonable alternative, but it won't be brought up for discussion until there are more complaints of a general nature--not complaints directed at certain individuals.


Now, as for posting, I should have posts coming throughout the night into the morning hours. I can't get online earlier than that for now so if I miss that window then I just can't get online. Random sentence... but informative. Back to posts. There will be no real order. Whichever post finishes itself I will post and people will be quoted to notify them.
