Arthur smiled faded a little when Melody lost that bright smile of hers. "Well trust me I'll be back, you guys mean a lot to me so I will return someday okay?" He wanted the young human to feel better, and he wished deeply that he could stay a day or two. Though he had to nudge the large man again and his blush grew a tiny bit larger. "You got me there, that violin is like a another part of me, I love it to death. My parents had a great idea when they thought of making me learn that violin." Yup one of the many things that he was so happy to have learned was that violin, it kept him happy while on the open seas. Though when he turned towards Isle he chuckled lightly when her ears turned lavender, yup he got her with his comment, oh how her ears look pretty when they were lavender. "Don’t worry about it Isle they love music as much as I do..." Grabbing one of her free hands he held it lightly and gave her a tug. "Come on Rainsong lets go inside and hear you play, out here isn't the right atmosphere for your level of music."

Melody nodded and nodded her head towards the smith shop. "Please Isleandra. It will be fun."
Gavin slapped Arthur on the back and then turned and headed for his shop. "It's wide open for ye. And once I clean up a bit it'll be great."
Lharika tugged on Isle's arm and whispered softly, "Are your playing for them Isle?"
Zykariel wasn't stupid and he claimed elven intuition and he knew something was off. Mother was way too quiet and she wasn't eating. He picked up his spoon and blew on his stew then took a bite. He wasn't going to say anything but it didn't take him long at all to finish it up.
"I'm gonna go play, 'kay Daddy? I know I gotta have a bath tonight, right?Too much fishy guts and stuff." Thus he slipped off his chair and fairly raced upstairs.
Zahara waited until the child ran off and she ran a hand through her hair then lightly tapped the crystal base of the glass. "Have fun today?" she asked softly, raising an eyebrow at the other drow at the end of the table. She lifted the glass to her lips and drained the rest of it then set the glass back down slowly, still watching him, her eyes betraying nothing which was quite strange really since usually they gave her away.

And before she knew it, she was being pulled along by Galesen and the others were urging her on. She'd never played for a human before, it was something new to her. Yes it seemed everyone wanted to hear this heavenly music that Galesen had proclaimed. And a look down at Lharika again. "I...suppose I am..." Letting herself be lead into the shop as they wanted.
A look to his son. "Alright...and yes, bath tonight. You've been traisping all over the underdark." Watching the boy run off to play and he tended to his own food for the moment, eating a little slower than normal today. But his attention was drawn down the table to her. Though a moment of studying her and he had to avert his eyes from hers and couldn't bring them back up.
He couldn't look at her when she was like that, he needed to see her eyes betray what she presented. Trust issue perhaps. "I suppose...took Zykariel out for a few hours. I think he had more fun than me though, learned some things...I take it you enjoyed your alone time?"

Arthur chuckled lightly as he squeezed Isle's hand in a calm manner as he lead the way into the smith shop. "Well then good, just try your best here Isle we aren't asking you to play the most hardest thing you know that right? Just get comfortable with the mood and pick a song you find fitting for all of us." He told her as he lead her deep into the shop, so after looking around for a moment the elf just looked at his old friend in puzzlement and bluntly asked. "Alright where can we sit?"

Lharika clapped her hands and giggled happily. "Isle's going to play for us!" Skipping her way inside and standing between Melody and Gavin. "But you gotta be really quiet so you can hear it all so shhh..."
"Alrigh' Princess." He lifted her up and settled her on his desk so she could see better then turned and waited for the show to begin. He'd shoved the boxes and what not to the side and cleared a space in the middle of the room then grabbed two chairs adn set them there. "Do ye have enough room?" He asked wringing his hands. IT wasn't everyday an elf agreed to play for you.
Melody sat crosslegged on a stack of boxes in the corner and waited as well.
She turned her head to watch the path Zykariel had taken and brief flash of hurt appeared before she wiped it away and cleared her throat. "Yes well, it's always good for him to learn new things." Had she enjoyed her alone time? No, she had spent it all worrying about the two of them. The indifferent sound left her voice and she shook her head. "I was concerned for...the stew. For a while there I thought it was going to go to waste..." Why couldn't she just tell the other elf the truth? She'd been worried about them, afraid something had happened to them and realized how much she needed both of them around. Her eyes reflected back her own fears and insecurities and she idly tapped at the table then cleared her throat again, searching for something, anything to say. She stood up and moved to a seat closer to Sevilin then closed her eyes for a moment before catching his gaze. "Is he...mad at me...?" A wealth of insecurities in that statement wasn't there?

Oh yay an audience. A human audience who probably couldn't fully grasp the song like the others would, but you appreciate the sound that they did hear, even if they missed the feeling. "Um, yes that's enough room thank you." Grasping her flute at her waist she unhooked it from it's leather trappings and then sat down in the seat, crosslegged of course.
She thought for a moment what she wanted, and then closed her eyes and raised the instrument to her lips, being mindful to keep the magic at bay and just let the melody take place. A breif skip of quiet as the room seemed to go into silence before a single note escaped, was drawn out sweet and long, starting soft before it go louder and then was followed in a quick succession of several other notes that easily twined themselves into a melody. This song a bit more lively than the one she had played with Galesen and Lharika would recognize it as the one she played at the recent season heralding in Andal.
He brought his eyes up some to her as she had moved her seat, but he still wasn't fully looking at her, perhaps not wanting to take the chance of not seeing what he wanted to see there, that truth and perhaps vulnerability that she strove to keep at bay but he knew it was there.
"Mad? No...I don't think he's mad at you." Mad probably wasn't the right word. The boy seemed more...disappointed perhaps about Zahara but they had already discussed that and as far as Sevilin was concerned, it didn't need to be brought up. "Besides, he's a child....if he is, he won't be for long." Playing in his food some.

Arthur did his best to get a good seat and where he was he got comfortable enough so he could watch her in silence as she got ready to play for all of them. Though he had a feeling that she was worried, the sound in her voice seemed unstable just a little bit but he knew she would pull through.
So there he was watching her quietly as she went though her mind for what she wanted to play, then with just a brief moment of silence she began to play music that was different then from when they played, but it still captured him all the same. The first note really capture Arthur’s attention and it flowed into his ears like Isle's own beautiful voice before it started to get louder and with different notes thrown into it. All in all the music struck the elf pretty deeply as his body was swaying back and forth to the notes, even though he didn't notice it himself. So beautiful... He thought and chuckled a little to himself as his eye closed slowly, his mind taking in this great musical piece and storing it for when he would want to hear it again and again later on.

Gavin fussed around a bit and then rather nervously sat there next to Lharika and waited for the impromptu concert to begin. When the elf first played those notes he felt his breath catch in his throat. The notes seemed to surround him and he closed his eyes as the melody raced through him and he found himself smiling. In his mind he saw his wife once again, smiling and laughing, and a tear escaped his blue eyes. By the end of the song he was sniffling and frantically trying to wipe away his tears. "Oh thank ye verra verra much, Miss Isle..."
Lharika listened intently pleased when she realized she knew the song and grinned, swaying her head to the song. Then she realized that Gavin was crying and she laid her head against his arm before crawling into his lap and swiping her hands over his cheeks. "Dont' cry Mr. Tiny. Isle doesn't like tears..."
Melody closed her eyes and lifted her hands in a meditative gesture her head bobbing as well. "Beautiful."
She caught that quick glance and sighed. "Are you sure..he's been acting very strangely around me lately Sevilin." She tapped her nails lightly and brought her legs up to curl up in the chair. "Well, I guess..." She ran a hand through her hair and sighed again, crossing her arms over her breasts protectively. "I'm probably just being silly...right?" Her hand reached out and she clasped onto his wrist lightly then released him as she realized what she had done. "Sorry..." She knew better than to touch him when she was on instincts adn she knew it unnerved him when she was like this too.

Isle was just rather pleased with herself and well flattery was never wasted on an elf at all. She gave Gavin a little giggle. "You're welcome." Giving a round of looks around to those there...seemed everyone was momentarily lost in what she had created with her little wind powered instrument. She dare say this was the most attention she had gotten for her music in quite a long time. Flattered indeed.
"He's a child, they do strange things. Don't worry about it. Besides...you're paranoid right now and think too hard on things anyway." Trying to soothe her with logic that he could always pull out of somewhere. Though a look at his wrist as she gripped to him and then pulled away just as fast with an apology.
Sevilin gave a sigh and set his spoon in a still half full bowl, and then reached out to her, running his fingers through her hair in soothing manner. "It's alright...you don't need to walk on eggshells around me right now. I'm used to you, remember?"

There was a few things that happened when Arthur opened his eye to look around once the music had stopped, first he was surprised to see that Gavin was actually crying because of the music which made the elf smile and wander over to his friend to put a hand on the large man shoulder. "Saw something you love huh?" He asked and smiled lightly when he had his answer, though when little Lark climbed onto Gavin he couldn't help the large smile that suddenly appeared, they looked really cute together. Then slowly he turned to the elf who played that beautiful music and clapped a little as he walked towards her. "A beautiful job once again Lady Rainsong, another musical masterpiece worth hearing again and again but if it is only played by you." He said as he stood about a foot from where she sat, then slowly he reached down and grabbed her hand then pulled it up towards him and gave it a light kiss, his fingers though were alive with his warm magic, just to give it an extra kick and hopefully maybe she would feel it through her leather gloves. "I thank you deeply for playing for all of us, it was amazing to hear you play your flute once again." He mumbled and smiled a hearty grin at her, he wished he could have her play another piece but he didn't want to push it, and besides they never knew when Piper wanted them back so they had to be ready to leave as soon as possible, but right now the moment called for thanks and a open mind.

Gavin pulled out a handkerchief and wiped his eyes and blew his nose rather loudly and humanlike but then he took a breath and smiled at the child. "I know Princess but she made me think of me wife..."
Lharika nodded solemnly. "Sometimes I think of my Mommy and Daddy when Isle plays and I want to cry too. It's okay Mr. Tiny, crying is good for you."
He pet a hand through her hair and then smiled at Isle. "Ye're verra good Miss Isle. Verra good indeed." He shook his head. "Artie used to play for me when I wanted ta remember her. That was a great gift ye gave me. Thank ye."
Melody opened her eyes and smiled at her father then said softly, "Music makes him think of Mama. He misses her something fierce and it overwhelms him. He'll be okay in a little bit Isleandra." Her gaze moved away when Arthur made motions towards Isle and she swallowed adn cleared her throat. "Yes beautiful indeed..."
She forced a smile and nodded then closed her eyes once again as his hands attempted to provide her comfort. "Well yes but I'm not really my normal self right now and I know you don't like it when I just jump you..." She heaved out a sigh and then dropped her head to his arm silently asking him for more comfort and blocking her eyes all at the same time.

Well well, wasn't Arthur being affectionate, even if by kissing her hand he was more or less just kissing soft leather since she wore mismatched glove, but gloves none the less. "Oh, no big deal...at least I've made my mark on eveyone, yes?" Giving a little nod about it and a smile to Gavin and Melody. "Music is supposed to evoke such emotions...and they are perhaps greater compliments than words or actions." Even if humans couldn't grasp the melody completely. A look to Galesen, letting her eyes half close in almost deductive fashion, a hint of gold flashing in them a moment. "I'm sure you'll hear me again Galesen."
At her wanting of more attention, he hooked his boot under her chair and pulled it closer before slipping an arm around her in giving the comfort that she was craving. "But I admit, I expect it." Hey he was always blunt when he wanted to be now wasn't he? His other hand came up to touch under her chin and push her head up so that he could indeed look at her face, whether he was comfortable doing so or not. "Don't worry, they'll pass." He knew she didn't particularly enjou her instincts.

She felt like she was in that strange place between emotional plateaus and planes and unfortunately she wasn't handling it very well. She felt her chair move and lifted her head, shoving her hair out of her face and looked up at him. One hand raised to his cheek and she gave him a smile. "What did I ever do to deserve being around someone like you?" she asked softly before leaning and brushing her lips lightly against his. As usual though once she started kissing him, well it was difficult to stop.

Well she got a puzzled look at her little statement, after all it was no secret that Sevilin didn't think highly of himself at all. Though he didn't have to think about that for very long before he felt her lips brush his own and she was kissing him, but not in that normal forceful manner that her intincts demanded. Though he did pull back slightly, looking at her eye to eye, his lips brushing her own as he spoke. "There are those better than me, I'm nothing special." Brushing a hand through her hair again and giving her a small kiss of his own to yes perhaps indulge her a little, appease those instincts to a degree.

She pulled back and peered at him then shook her head. "Maybe, but none of them are good enough for me. You understand me and are willing to deal with me. That makes you something special." She curved her hands around the back of his neck and leaned closer, barely brushing her lips against his once again, her appetite whetted now. "Just trust me on this one, alright?" Sinfully close yet not touching though she really wanted to. Her fingers began their usual play in his hair and she waited for him to make the next move. That would tell her once and for all that he was okay with this.
