She... she tricked him into it. She let Luke believe that she couldn't become pregnant... and now she's bearing his child against his will...
All just so I have a few months before it becomes obvious to everyone that's she's with child. The child of a brink legend.

I... I saw her taking him away. He and I were in here talking, and she took him away... I haven't seen him since. That must have been months ago...
Oh no... I... I wanted to stop him. Why didn't I just. I knew something was wrong.

Don't do that. Luke didn't think he was going to get into any kind of trouble, there was no way of knowing... it's not your fault...
:::Although, in some strange way, this was mostly because Kal couldn't figure out Cora's presence in the Brink... and why he wouldn't tell his people... and why Kara decided to go through with this plot. But gauging Cora's reaction... he was entirely relieved that it wasn't his place to explain her future to her:::

Kal... this is... terrible...
:::She cried into his shoulder... so glad he was there to comfort her. It was usually Luke bearing this kind of burdon. But now... Luke was the one who would need the consolation:::

:::His thumb stroked the back of her head as she cried onto his shoulder, and heaved a breathe. On one hand, he was busy taking care of someone else's pain, and so he focused away from his own. On the other hand... it was Cora, the last person he wished ill:::

:::Kal looked over to see Sato as well. With his arms still around Cora's shoulders, he breathed out through his nose. He imagined that Sato wouldn't be any comfort:::
:::His eyes caught Cora's looking at him, as if to say... 'what now?' But he didn't know what now. So he just hugged her again, needing it probably as much as she did:::
