a few silent tears rolled down her cheek "I... I don't remember anything...."
she started to quietly pack her things and kept going through the contractions before one was so bad she screamed

He woke up with a start. "Babe?"
"What is the last thing you do remember?" He kissed her hand and wiped away her tears gently.

her eyes rolled a little as she thought "getting home from school with a brown bag..."
she was panting in the corner "call... the doctor...." she screamed a little more
he woke with a start and shook Nates shoulder "babe... I think this is it..."

"Hmmm?" He was waking slowly.
He scrambled for the phone, "What about an ambulance?"
He sighed, "Thats the last thing?" He asked. He didn't really want to fill her in, but would if she asked.

she nodded "what... happened?" she asked softly
she winced some more "no time..." she screamed again
"nathaaaaaaannnn" he smiled and shook Nates shoulders again "we're gonna be grandfathers... come on get up"

He groaned again and then it hit him. "What?!"
"s**t." He dialed quickly and told the doctor. He got up and went to her, "Babe, come sit."
"You were in a car accident a few days ago. You left my house, you thought you were pregnant and then you didn't. You just left, several hours later you came back, hurt and then passed out. I rushed you here. They said that they couldn't save the baby." He looked down at the bed.

she squeezed his hand tightly "we can always try..." she said softly "when we're older"
"go get... some towels... and blankets... ones that" she paused for a contraction before starting again "ones that we don't care get dirty..."

"okay." He moved quickly and grabbed all the towels and blankets he could find.

she got up slowly and waggled carefully to the bed, she paced through another contraction and waited for him to get back
he got up and pulled on a robe before tossing Nate his "lets goooo"

He pulled on his robe as he got up.
he came back and put the towels and blankets in a chair. "How ya doing?" He went to her.

she nodded and rubbed her stomach "when's the doctor... getting here?" she started putting the towels down on the bed
