Ciel Avec Cafeine Something like, "The witness testified that she saw the accused hang the girl from a hook and skin her..." I flipped the channel at that point. I have a weak stomach. sweatdrop eek

*sigh* Why bother even talking about? What gruesome sense of morbid curiosity makes you WANT to know exactly how a person died? All that matters is that the person is dead, the killer is probably going to get off light, and the only witness did nothing to help another human being that was in trouble.

Because people are a very curious species.
Snails are too, but we have learned to ignore it due to the fact that we move so slow. And there might be salt involved.

It's not just one person; that's why the case is being talked about here, on the other side of the country. The guy's accused of killing dozens of women.

I doubt he'll get off light. In murder cases don't they revoke bail? And he'll probably have his passport revoked. And they have a witness, the murder weapon is still out there, it could be found, and the jury usually won't have pity on a guy who hangs someone and skins them.

The whole trial has been going on for a couple of years now. I haven't really been following it. They're trying to prove that it was him that did it, I think. They found the bodies on his farm, but they don't have proof he did it. I mean, if their only witness is a coke addict...

No, Eien, Scary things are not gone now, nor will they ever be. For Mankind has made itself a monster, and none are fit to fight it. We simply are lacking in moral fiber and the sense of justice that we had way back in the beginning.

~R.a.c.h.e.l.~ How come you're an illegal snail? I crossed a border. But the real story behind my user name is this. I was at a fish/pet store. I like snails and wanted more for my tank, so I asked this lady what kinds she had. She whispered "legal or illegal?" and was serious. Evidentally only some snails can be kept as pets because either the other ones are parasitic or are caught illegalally.
