her breathing was short and raspy as she lay on the table, slowly waking up. She reached for his hand "Jack..."

He took her hand quickly, "I'm here Amber... Babe you gotta tell us what happened." He held her hand in both of his.

she coughed a little and some blood came up. They rushed her to the ER

He wanted to go in the room with her but the nurses made him stay out. He looked in through the window. A few tears slid down his face.

after many hours she had stabilized but had fallen asleep
a nurse walked out and told him the severity of the car rec and that she had been pregnant but they lost the baby. Also that Amber may never be able to see again

"Can I see her." He was shaking a little and felt a little dizzy at the news but didn't care. He just wanted to see her.

"thats fine..." He followed the nurse. He looked at her through the window before going in. He wiped his face and pulled a chair close to her bed. He took her hand again in both of his and kissed the back of her hand.

she stayed asleep for a few days
after a few days she woke in a sharp pain "ow..."

she woke slowly "J...ack?"
the pain passed and she got up and waggled to the bathroom where her water broke "oh that's gross..."
