Nicara-what? XD Don't believe I've ever tire or heard of it before. I've had Indian food before (from India not Native American) from when my classmates finally dragged me to try it. It was good. Most of their food is spicy but I did like their bread, fried broccoli, and rice pudding. XD That's cool. I didn't know that the even did state beanie babies. Wonder why they only did a few and not the rest of the states. Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana were Hurricane Katrina fundraisers. Germany, Italy, and United Kingdom (with 3) are the only European beanie babies. I know what ya mean. That happens every once in a while XD

I'm not sure. I know part of why I got him was because he was purple, and that's my favorite color! XD But, here's a link to a website that shows info on the one I have. Clicky
Also, Look what else I found! It's Georgia's (well, a sum up of) opening ceremony! I was trying to find the full version of last night's ceremony, but no one has it-- INCLUDING THE NBC OLYMPIC WEBSITE!!! TTwTT Oh well. It was cool finding this, I guess. I was only 3 or 4 when the Summer Olympics were at home, but my mom had worked as a volunteer through the entire thing. She still has a lot of or all of the things she had from working there-- including her uniform and ID badge!

*watches* uh wow... I was 5 and 1/2 when that was around... I remember watching the gymnastics and stuff but don't think I had the attention span for the opening which looks weird yet kinda cool... 9.9
Thank you George. Uh yes I have received a few comments about it being a bit cluttered but the goal was to show the world what we're capable of.
Hm ever since I heard a radio commercial of NC's tourism where a guy is listening to his gps and these voices with different accents are suggesting places for him to go, Of course they get a Scotish guy and another voice going "Are you going to listen to a guy in a skirt?" "It's a kilt." then interrupt by a French Woman talking about how she knows the best wineries. I've been trying to figure out where exactly France stands in relation to NC. I've knowing about her winery ever since that visit to the Biltmore Estate with their own personal winery and that her State fruit used for wine was founded since France and Sir Walter Raleigh discovered her. And I did mention the letter wrote in describing her to his boss. However most books will say that NC is made up of German Merchants, Scots, Scot-Irish, Welsh, and English settlers.
Just recently I came across booklet "The Hornets Nest" from Mecklenburg County, NC. City of Charlotte is from Mecklenburg and is nicked named "Queen City" and "The Hornets Nest". The Hornets Nest name came from 'the American Revolutionary War, when British commander General Cornwallis occupied the city but was driven out by hostile residents, prompting him to write that Charlotte was "a hornet's nest of rebellion," ' The booklet is a 200 year remembrance from the war in 1768, and gives a bit of history. Mecklenburg was made up of Scot-Irish Presbyterians from Maryland-Pennsylvania area, the German, French, Scotch and Swiss descent from South Carolina, and English from Virginia.

I just remembered that the day I read the report to the class the office called for me to go home right before I even had a chance present... what followed after that was one of the worse days of my life I guess you could say ^.^; It was back in my sophomore year of highschool so I really don't remember what Country I did it on.

England was once in control of a few countries in Central America. eh? o.o No worries I still have my Spanish Text Book, I'm just lazy to look through it again. sorry. I just remembered that the day I read the report to the class the office called for me to go home right before I even had a chance present... what followed after that was one of the worse days of my life I guess you could say ^.^; It was back in my sophomore year of highschool so I really don't remember what Country I did it on. they teach you history in Spanish class?all my friends who took Spanish just learned the language and grammar. no history oh o.o

Yay! I finally drew a Fem!GA! whee
And I remember learning some history in Spanish class, but I honestly think it was more along the lines of cultural class with some history thrown in so that we went "Oh, I guess it makes sense why they celebrate that/ do that""Vhy do you Americans always feel zhe need to come after me! I vas just stating facts!""Don't worry, 'Bama! I don't take offense to what Germany says to me. The guy did teach me how to be disciplined and kept an eye on me when England wasn't around! ^_^ *goes back to talk Olympics* Oh, but, yeah, going back-- I know how you feel, dad! A lot of people said my ceremony was pretty different compared to those done in the past. I was pretty proud of it, though. I mean, it was the last one to be done for that century, so I wanted it to be memorable! I even prettied up Atlanta and fixed up a bunch of my highways so that people would have something nice to look at. Most of the athletes said it was the prettiest place they'd been to for the Olympics. ^///w///^ "And then there was Izzy. xd "0///A///0 H- Hey! there was nothing wrong with Izzy!"For those who don't know/ remember, Izzy was the mascot for the '96 Olympics. Georgia was so proud of him that he was the first (and maybe only) Olympic mascot to get his own cartoon and video game along with star on a lot of the Olympic merchandise. The best part was that the way he got his name was because of the common question everyone asked.
