The system isn't complicated =( It's actually rather small. It's just a 15-point system, where you start at 0 and buy additional points. As you gain points, points start costing more. 1-6 cost 1 point 7-10 cost 2 points 11-13 cost 4 points 14-15 costs 6 points
So, for example, a Captain's stats (they start with 68 points), might look like this: Physical Strength: 8 (10 points) Agility: 11 (18 points) Hakuda: 0 Zanjutsu: 10 (14 points) Reiatsu: 12 (22 points) Kidou: 4 (4 points) So as you go higher, the points start adding up - reflecting the fact that the higher your skill goes up in an area, the more effort you have to put in. For example, if you wanted a 15, your stats might look like: Physical Strength: 2 (2 points) Agility: 10 (14 points) Hakuda: 0 Zanjutsu: 15 (38 points) Reiatsu: 10 (14 points) Kidou: 0 So now you're ridiculously awesome with your sword, but you have less defense (Reiatsu in this system), hit like a feather pillow, and aren't as agile. So the system prevents the god characters that exist in this system, since everyone has 10/10 in everything.

Omg, it's basically a modified version of the same point-buy system that EVERY table-top game ever made uses xd
You have 68 points to spend. Stat points 1-6 cost 1 point, 7-10 cost 2 points, 11-13 cost 4 points, and 14-15 cost 6 points.
So if you want a 10, you'd spend (1+1+1+1+1+1+2+2+2+2 = 14 points for those 10 levels in whatever stat, like Agility).
Similar to the system now, except the system at the moment is 1 point per stat point for ALL levels (1-10).
EDIT: Ok, lemme just compare the systems, making a Captain in both. Current System 48 Points. 1 point per stat point. Ph. Str.: 10/10 (1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 = 10 points) Agility: 10/10 (1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 = 10 points) Reiatsu: 10/10 (1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 = 10 points) Zanjutsu: 10/10 (1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 = 10 points) Kidou: 0 Hakuda: 8/10 (1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 = 8 points)
My System 68 Points. Increasing cost per stat point. Ph. Str: 10/15 (1+1+1+1+1+1+2+2+2+2 = 14 points) Agility: 10/15 (1+1+1+1+1+1+2+2+2+2 = 14 points) Reiatsu: 10/15 (1+1+1+1+1+1+2+2+2+2 = 14 points) Zanjutsu: 10/15 (1+1+1+1+1+1+2+2+2+2 = 14 points) Kidou: 0 Hakuda: 9/15 (1+1+1+1+1+1+2+2+2 = 12 points)
The systems basically equate, it's just my system has more freedom (at the cost of increasing point cost), and doesn't run into the issue where everyone has max stats.

Basically I see three problems coming my way and I'll just post what I told Dante;

It's actually called a "bounding issue" in stat-point systems.
At the moment, everyone is at the upper bound of the system (10/10), meaning that they are no longer bound by anything other than infinity, essentially meaning there is no limit to their power in that area.
With the 15-point system, everyone would be at the same relative power level (unless they wanna re-distribute points or w/e), yes, but now they are bounded. They are no longer gods, since they are now bounded by 11, not infinity. If someone has an 11, they are more powerful than the person with 10.
In the current system, there is no way to get an 11, and even if the caps were increased, because there is no increasing/exponential costs for points someone could just gimp a random stat to re-cap themselves (since there's a 1:1 buy-point:stat-point ratio).
Whatever though, I was just doing it for fun, didn't really expect to get it approved *stares at Hei*

I get the point of it, and if it won't make Hei weaker, then I'm less mad at it.
My new main issue would be having to think about it. You have no idea how frustrated Dante's specialized stat system made me; I'm horrible with numbers because I second guess myself all the time.
I'm not mad at you or anything; I'm mad at math.

Taigaa-tono I get the point of it, and if it won't make Hei weaker, then I'm less mad at it.
