Suck it up? Auggy you try walking for six hours in five and a half inch stelletos outside, on uneven ground with blisters. Then you can tell me to suck it up.
@Greg- They need a clue... modeling isn't as great as it seems.
@Auggy (again)- Yeah. Originally it was only a one time thing, because I lost a bet with the guy who was gonna make me model for him only once so he could put together his new portfolio; but apparently I'm so friggin photogenic, that his main focus shifted from this other girl to me. And apparently if his portfolio is accepted; that would turn me into a super model. And then I'll get to travel the world and walk down runways... and my Mom is just giddy about it. Bleh. ><
@Anon- ^ Read above. That's why I'm doing modeling. I lost a bet.
In other news, I've got Strep Throat and the Stomach Flu at the same time. I keep throwing up my medication for my Strep. If I get any worse, I'll be going to the hospital. Any prayers would help. gonk

Secondly, we both know that you do just have to suck it up, it's just another part of surviving/living. As for your sickness, I am moved by that. I hope you get betterererer gonk

I've always found the best cure for that kind of stuff is water, milk, soup and honey. :3
No pill-popping for Auggie.... more so because the pills don't seem to work on him, he has to go somewhere from 2x-4x the recommended amount to get any effect out of some stuff. Must be because he has super hero powers! xD

Heehee, I've also been raised in the type of family where, even if you're sick or hurt, you just pick yourself up and keep going. I've only ever missed school because of health related reasons very few times. The time when I was so badly sunburned I could barely move, the day of and days after I had my toe surgery... and.... that's all I recall.

The only time I can recall missing school was when I was randomly really sick. My head was hurting like crazy and I could barely keep my eyes open. I forced myself to go to school but was sent back home by first period. To this day, I don't know why I was so sick on that day. I think the doctor said something about me being really tired, but I was only in middle school at that time and I went to sleep at around 9:00 PM sharp back then.

@Auggy- I'm the same way. I was raised to the point where if you have a fever, throwing up, diarrhea, whatever, you still get to go to school. However, because the doctor's found out that I have so little of white blood cells, getting a cold for someone else can be as bad as pneumonia for me. I could quiet literally die from getting the cold. Which is why this stomach flu and strep throat thing is such a big deal.
On that note; I'm getting really sick and tired of Vegeta's android puns. I forgot how annoying they are. *goes back to watching Dragon Ball Z*

I... have never had any of those problems. No idea why they all seem to avoid me while striking all of my friends at some point or another >.< .
Although, that does sound really bad. If getting a cold could kill you, I can't imagine how bad strep throat and stomach flu together could turn out burning_eyes .

When I was little I missed 3 months of school. I had a very very very bad case of pneumonia and was stuck in bed coughing, throwing up, and unable to move. Only reason why i wasnt in the hospital is cause my parents owed the hospital 3 million dollars from when i was 3 and i stopped breathing and my heart stopped twice. I was int he hospital for a month for that and it cost 3 million dollars >.> put my parents instantly in chapter 13 bankruptcy.
