Though it seems that everyone has ignored the fact that Capcom hasn't even been contacted about Megaman being in brawl, and with only another month before the release date, there won't be time to add him?
The same thing was said about Sonic.
Who is, in fact, in Brawl.
I'd also like to point out that Sonic was announced how far back? 3 months? 4? And since they had a move-set and had him programmed into the game allready.... And if I recall the news article correctly, Sega was very... clever in answering the question about Sonic being in Brawl.

why can't you be happy enough that Sonic is in there? I really don't think he's even programmed in. I've neither seen nor heard any clues to his, his stages, or any items related to him appearing.

Found an interview with representatives of Sega and Nintendo. All they said in regards to Sonic was, "We can’t really comment on any sort of hidden characters in Smash Bros. at this point." No disconfirmation, just dodging the question. Looking back, it was blatantly obvious that Sonic was in. But when Megaman's creator says he hasn't been contacted, well, it's a different story. I am happy. I just think Megaman will make an appearance. If he's in or not doesn't really matter to me.
Sonic didn't have any official confirmation other than "he is the most requested 3rd party character"
Megaman falls second on that list, I believe.

I have a feeling that megaman will not be in brawl. I am sorry to say that. Keep believing that he will be in brawl all you want. Until you see him in the updates then he is not in brawl.

Man, I've been quite amazed with the recent updates.. o_o They all just look so interesting... I'd go back a few pages to see what you guys are talking about in here right now, but I'm on dial-up right now, and loading all these pages is a HUUUUUGE pain in the butt. @_@ So... Sweet baby Jesus, I hope the next update, (what, the 7th?) is something about Megaman, just so we can stop talking about it.
I'm all for discussion and hearing each others oppinion/neat ideas, but we're just talking in circles now.
Geno and Megaman, why they're in and why they're not.
But then again, I guess there isn't much else to talk about.[/sarcasim]
