The one head held on, and since Deidrick was a alrge dog, drolls was running down the girls shirt and splattering on the ground. "One of my heads does not seem to think you are worth letting go for your prior engagment. What does a young moresle like yourself need of so many yams?"

The third unengaged head was sniffing at the girl, going over her pants where pockets would have held money. "I do not smell steel coins on you, perhaps you did not lawfully aquire those yams." He sounded angrier.

"Or," suggested Leaf. "You could not eat us, seeing as how if it is only your skin and you are surly not dead and not a murderer."

"In fact, you aren't a murderer, you are a highly reveried priest of the earth temple. We are pilgrams, come to see the pure element of earth, in order to finish our journey, we must be lead to the element."

Okay so daddy wasn't going to pick him up. He knew he didn't always get what he wanted though. But it seemed he was given that attention when Keely had gotten up after Meilikki had finished her hair and walked over to the boy, picking him up when his motions to be so went unseen. Yay attention. And she was duely clutched to.

A pet to his hair before she looked to Meilikki. "Um, I'm sorry to but in, but I was wondering...may I stay here with Meilikki for a few days since Lharika is around and I haven't stayed for a time yet?" More pointedly said between Meilikki and Piper, asking both.

At least Malik took the easy way out that was more or less true. But oh gods they were going to talk about the Purians...Malik's least favorite subject. But as per usual she was going to play the one who didn't dwell on such things. But a look to Meilikki. "My friend, I shall do better than bring you stars, I shall bring you a whole surface sky in all it's times." Her attention however turned to Keely at her question. "Well, I don't see a problem, if it's alright with Meilikki."

It was a wonderfully new experience for her that was going to be put away and visited in reverie for times to come yet. It would indeed be a grand things indeed. And yes, she wanted to see everything but perhaps having little Lharika there kept her in check. And of course since she was holding onto Lharika she was dragged off that way, though her eyes watched Arthur as he was...well a human was doing something to him. It kinda looked like a hug, she wasn't too sure. A quick look to Lharika. "Your pearls? Don't barter those away..." And a look back to Arthur. And of course she was attracted to any smith shop... "Galesen, what's the currency down here?"

"Alright, watch this." Holding to the pole with this son, he make it dip down some so the fish had some slack then yanked back hard, making the fish move with the motion and pop out of the water a second. "The trick is to work against the motion. He goes left, you go right. Got it?" Letting the boy try the technique before he felt the fish giving up. "Okay, give it one more good tug."

Arthur was gasping for air as he was being crushed by arms that were the size of tree trunks! He tried to squirm out of the death grip that was upon him but he couldn't even move an inch; but when he glanced at the person who was holding onto him through a mirror at a vendor close by. He saw a large man dressed in thick leather and big gloves to cover his large hands, scars and burns covered the giant's arms while his normal size head was bald yet covered in soot and what not making him look black. He had a red beard that was a connection from his moustache and goatee, plus he was wearing an pair of rounded goggles to cover his eyes from the work he was doing. "You're as strong as ever...Gavin..." he gasped out and the large man laughed and then suddenly the grip on him was gone which allowed the elf to catch his breath. After he did he turned on the human and bellowed in laughter before hugging him again, but this time the giant didn't crush him but kept him in a nice hug before they pulled apart. "Oh it's good to see you again eh Tiny!?" Though he turned back towards Isle when she asked him what currency there was. "It's...steel...here take this." Arthur then produced a pouch filled of steel and tossed it to her. "Don't spend it all okay? It's easy to figure out how to use steel is worth down here while buying something, just take your time." He didn't mind spending some money on Lark and Isle while they are on 'tour' at least when they will leave they'll have gifts of when they came to Honorfeild.

Rusty finally relaxed and let himself drop on the floor as if he was light as a feather but hit harder than a feather. Chin on the ground and arms laying flat on his sides he let out a sigh as he lifted his pupiles to look up at the event.

He felt bad for the girl. If indeed she had stolen the food, he knew she must of had a reason to. Also the fact that he was raised in the poor side helped to feel compassion.

He slightly lifted his body up with the use of one arm and finally lifted his whole front body with the other. As he pushed himself up on his feets he made up his mind to try and help this girl.

"Hey... give the girl a break. I'm sure she's not as bad as you think she is."

She really wanted that necklace and she knew how to barter for things in Farhian and that was by trading something of equal or more value and then the vendor either took the trade or asked for a new one. That's the way it worked at home, why wouldn't it be the same down here? She once again reached for the necklace and got her hand smacked rather roughly. Blinking up at the vendor completely and utterly confused, she shook her head and rubbed her hand. "I have barettes if they would be better?" Questioning the vendor.

He just gave her a nasty look. "No child's toy will get you that thar necklace little girl. Go find your mummy and daddy and have them buy it for you. Takes steel. No steel, no necklace." Thus snatching that necklace up.

Gavin pounded the boy on the back with his meaty hands and grasped his shoulders with a white grin. "How've ye been me boy? We've been a missin' ye somethin' fierce around here ever since ye left." The big man winked and then continued, "Melody know ye're back yet? She's been a missin' ya too ever since ye left us. I'm sure she'll be poppin' up in no time."

Sure enough a moment later a brunette popped up with the sparkling eyes of her father and she grinned racing forward and throwing her arms around Arthur. "ARTHUR!!! You're back. How come you didn't tell us you were coming?" She was about as clean as her father was filthy, in wide pants and a too large for her tunic, only a small spec of dirt smudged on her nose. "We would have broken out the ale!"

Zykariel let his father do whatever it was he wanted to do adn grinned when the fish started tugging again. This game was truly fun! Fish goes left, he goes right. Fish goes down, he goes up. He had it! He started tugging opposite the movement of the fish and felt the line go slightly slack. "Does that mean he's getting tired? Daddy?" Looking back joyfully.

"Darn it all, this isn't going well at all." But then again what could be expected, this was a land where water was scarce, and trying to grow a garden was something which was very much impossible. "I will be glad when we are finally rid of this place." he said as he wiped the dirt from his hands, resigning himself to the fact that his flower graden was nothing more then wishful thinking. His name was, Tawarthion, one of the Purian Pennisula Tribal leaders. His village was one of the smaller ones, but his oponions still had as much power as any of the larger ones. Tawarthion was a hald blooded elf, several inches shorted then a full blooded high elf, yet he still had those unmistakable pointed ears. His dirty blonde hair was shoulder long, and feel down in waves. His body was slim and ahthelic, much like most of his kinds were. Like all Purians he wore a large array of different size swords and knives wrapped around his body, and he was a master with all of them. Tawarthion let out a sigh, noticing that he had left one of tools thrown upon the floor. He bent over to pick it up, but his actions were to serve only as a distraction, for he had heard the quiet footsteps as they approached behind him, in a sad attempt at an ambush. As he kneeled he drew one of his many short daggers, and in swift movement, rose, turned and attacked whoever it was which stood behind him. He smiled as he felt the tip of blade cut effortlessly through skin and meat, his would be attacker had a made a big mistake, trying to sneak up on him. Tawarthion, turned to face his attacker, a scowl upon his face, his words were harsh and cruel and he held a dagger in each hand. "Who are you and what bussiness have you here?" he spoke, to the man which stood before him, a thin line of red blood streaming down his left cheeck.

She caught the bag in one hand and surmised that Galesen was in no danger seeing as apparently he was quite at home with this man...whomeever he was. Human she assumed. Humans came in such funny shapes and sizes as well. Though her eyes snapped back and she frowned as Lharika's hand got smacked. Oh no he just didn't....and then he proceeded to be rude. In a flash she pulled out her sword and reached across the vendor's counter to grab the man by his tunic and yank him across the surface, holding him there. She had the point of her sword to his throat and her face was right in his as he was more or less laying across his own wares. "How dare you strike a child, let along insult one and claim yourself superior based on looks. Let alone age. I should teach you a lesson about such things and make sure you can never forget, seeing as you have faulty minds." Isle was always quick to jump to defense and this was no exception...after all, Lharika was also indeed furture ruler of the Moon elves in Andal if things went in her favor.

He nodded. "Indeed, that means he's tired. So then, see this little branch I left down here? Grab the string and pull it back and wind it around that piece. You'll pull the fish in and keep your line. So go one and I'll show you how to cook a fish out in the underdark. Believe me, you don't need all of Zahara's spices to make something taste good." Though he had noticed that the boy wasn't calling her Zara anymore.

Onyx jumped into Aella's room, and sat right behind her for about two minutes.

"Morning! we have guests, do you know why? and whom? and where from yet?"

yes he was tormenting her in a friendly way becuase he could.

Malik's eyes narrowed on the boy..but before he went into a lecture..they moved to Meilikki.

"How fortunate for you. They like being obstinant with me."

Lharika was ready to cry. She'd never been told that she couldn't have something. At least not something that she really wanted. And she had certainly never been spoken to that harshly. Daddy Kieran wasn't even that harsh when she was rude, which wasn't often at all.

The vendor of course was spluttering at the sign of that weapon. "She was trying to steal my livelihood. We deal with errant children in a very exacting way around here." He yanked back against Isle trying to get her to let go withdrawing his own dagger. "Let go of me now!"

Gavin glanced over at the ruckus occuring at one of the booths and shook his head. "Is that yer friend thar son? She seems to be havin' a bit a trouble with our good friend, Tym." Nodding to Isle and the jewelry vendor.

"Oh that old horses' a**." She rolled her eyes and propped her hands on her hips watching.

He nodded, ever the studious elf and began to wind the line around the stick by rolling it as he'd seen mother do with a rolling pin of sorts and dough. it worked nicely really. The fish still tugged but he just did what he had done before and tugged it left then right in opposition of the fish's movements. Soon enough the the fish was resting just below the surface of the water, probably half dead or fully dead and ready to be eaten. He lifted the heavy fish, his little arms shaking as he tugged it onto the bank with some help of his father because he couldn't do it alone. "I want to see you cook it Daddy." Of cousre peering down at the dead fish. "Eww..." He nudged it lightly with his toe and tilted his head. "It's like a bug before it goes squishy beneath my boot..."

Zahara was sitting at the table, the stew bubbling merrily on the stove, waiting. Where was Sevilin and Zykariel? First they hadn't even told her htey were leaving and now they were late for a meal. They were never late and they never missed an opportunity to eat her cooking. It was like blasphemy except she wasn't a god. Her nails tapped in irritation since she had the table set and the milk was going warm. Nobody liked warm milk.

Standing up from the table she flicked the stove off, covered the stew to keep it warm and grabbed her cloak. She was going to find those two and give them a piece of her mind for being late. Thus onto Faete and riding over to Malik and Piper's.

Arthur's body was being slapped around by Gavin's huge hands as suddenly he was being shaken by the large man like he was a drag doll, though when the human finally stopped shaking him that was when he could answer his questions. "Oh I've been fine Tiny, I had a feeling you guys would of missed me when I left but you know why I did, had nothing going for me here needed someplace new ya know?" A small chuckle came from the elf as the large man held him there, he had seen this smithy ever since he was a child and sort of 'grew' up with him until he had to leave on his boat four years ago, they were best friends and they still were so nothing has come between the two of them. "Ah I was going to ask-" his sentence was completely cut off when he noticed a human racing towards him but he knew who it was so he allowed her to throw her skinny arms around his neck as she screamed his name, even though his ears hurt he managed to keep the pain down. "Well it was the supr of the moment kind of thing I’m sorry I didn't send you a message." Another heartfelt laugh could be heard from him as he hugged the human back with a soft squeeze. "I would love some ale but right now I'm on a tour with-Isle what are you doing!?!?"

Arthur was completely shocked to find Isle with her sword out pointing it at a human, who ran the jewelry stand right next to the smithy, while she had in a grip and held him across the counter. "Yeah she is Gaivn give me a minute here..." Letting go of Melody he reached over and quickly yanked Isle away from the human but he grabbed the man and helped him back up saying his was sorry and not to call any authorities; well after he did what he could with the human, who was cursing his mouth off, he turned back to Isle with a calm face yet an anger laced voice. "Isle whatever you do, don't EVER do that again okay!? The man has been working here for gods know how many years and he has seen a lot of customers some a lot different from the others, when he looked at Lark he probably saw just another chid and treater her so..." A small paused as he took a deep breath before turning to the man who was staring at them in anger. "Please accept my apologies sir...I am very, very sorry about what has happened, they are new to Honorsfeild..." Turning back to Isle he motioned her to his side. "Please tell the man your sorry..." Then he looked down to little Lark who looked like she was going to cry and couched down with a smile on his face. "Now you see what I mean by staying together? Now I'll buy you the necklace as a gift from me to you okay? A little reminder of your time down here." So taking Lark's hand he wandered up to the man and grabbed the necklace showing it to him. "How much?"

"I am the messenger of death, and I have come for you.". The line was horribly over-used, and over-dramatic. But that's what he was, a walking drama department. His name was, Kuro Higa and as his name would suggest he was the ninth of ten children. Yet had rose to military greatness far greater then any in his clan. His strong Japanese features seemed cruel and twisted, and even when he smiled, the evil behind it was undeniable. His raven black eyes, burn with the fire within him. His averaged height frame was dressed in black from head to toe, a large black katana held at his side. Kuro was angry to say the least, how dare something so lowly as a half blood scare his beautiful face, Kuro vanity, was second only to his rage, and the half-blood had enraged both. Kuro drew his sword and charged, but his harsh decision would be his own undoing.

"If you're going to attack me boy as least have the decency to make it interesting." Tawarthion, said with a smile on his face, easily sidestepping Kuro and gently kicking at his knees, throwing his balance off center, and sending Kuro slamming face first into the ground. "Whoever sent you to kill me paid way too much, you're not even worth the effort." Tawarthion laughed, as he gently turned and faced Kuro. "Now answer my question before I am forced to actually hurt you."

By this point Kuro's were glowing red with anger. "Kuro i suggest you take a moment, and calm yourself, charging at him blindly isn't going to get the job done. Now calm yourself and finish what you set out to do, or do you require assistance?" The water master, Cahan, spoke into his thoughts, offering advice as well as teasind the fire master Kuro. "I don't need your help, do not interfere Cahan or I will run you through as well." Kuro growled back at Cahan. With a smile on his face Kuro rose, running his hand through his short and now messy raven black hair. "You were lucky the first time, you old dirty elf, but prepare to die, by the hand of Kuro Higa, Lord High Emeperor of the Fire Clan.", As always Kuro's words were arrogant, but his movements were much more precise, slicing his sword through the air like only a master could. And as only a master could, Tawarthion, dodged and parried every one of Kuro's attacks. This would not be as easy as Kuro first anticipated.

"Stealing? Hardly. She was merely asking you a question and inspecting quality. Last I checked when you steal something you're quiet as a cat on the prowl and you run as fast as you can once you've snatched your loot." Though at the sight of that dagger she was about to deliver some hurt onto his person before she was suddenly yanked off by Galesen, making her sword drop from the man's neck. Well that was completely shocking to her.

Though she merely blinked and then her features turned to a frown as Galesen too to lecturing her. Her? She was the one who was in the right and the other in the wrong. Her grip on her sword tightened some in frustration. "If he's been working so long then he should know the difference! I'm didn't you humans smacked their children around so easily, that's barbaric." Then she gaped as he wanted her to apologize. "Apologize!?" Still staring as he then attended to Arthur and she merely sheathed her sword. Apologize? Not this elf. She stubbornly stood where she was.

Sevilin chuckled. "Well he's all wet." A pat to the boy's back. "Good job, caught yourself a big fish there." Grabbing the thing by it's gills and lifting it, working the makeshift hook out before holding it up for the boy to look at. "Look at that, it's almost as big as you are. Good job indeed. Now we need to find a nice spot where we can make a fire with no problems and can be comfortable. But we also need to find some plants on the way. Come on, show me you can pick a good spot."

"Again, Kuro, or whatever your name is, you offer me no challenge." Tawarthion, laughed as he danced around his attacker. "You have underestimate me methinks, and I cannot help but laugh at that." But no laughter would errupt from his lips, no, instead a shower of blood exploded from his mouth. Tawarthion looking down at his chest in utter shock and amazement. When did he get a tail? Tawarthion, thought to himself as he fell to the floor, Kuro pulling his massive reptilian tail out of the gapping hole that had once been the elf's chest. "Why?...." Tawarthion, asked as he looked up to the sky, with eyes that no longer saw anything, and fell to the ground, cold and dead.

"Now quickly destroy the body, while I go and seek out Malik." Cahan voice uttured, in his Kuro's mind. Kuro's only let out a soft growl, offered no comment, and merely set out burning the body, until nothing was left but ash. Disappearing soon after he was done as quickly as he had appeared.

Lharika shook her head. "I offered you my pearls in exchange. That's not stealing that's bartering." She glanced between the adults still confused, her lower lip trembling. What was happening?

Melody shook her head. "Why is he such a jackass?"

Gavin sighed, "Don't ye go gettin' involved in things that aren't none a' yer concern me girl. That's how ye get yerself in so much trouble."

"Oh Papa, you worry far too much. I'm just going to make sure Arthur has everyting well in hand." Thus she skipped off to the vendor. "Tym, are you casuing trouble again?"

Tym sneered at the elves standing there and shook his head. "I've had too many things stolen from me to be sure. Thsoe probably aren't even real pearls but some shoddy look a like her daddy gave her to keep her satisfied. No parent would give a child that expensive of a gift." He straightened his tunic and crossed his arms waiting for the apology that he was led to believe was coming. "1000 steel. I'm tacking on a little extra for trouble."

Zykariel nodded, "And I pulled it up all by myself. Well..you know." But at his next task he went skipping off and pointed to a spot surrounded by a few of those sickly trees. "How about there?" Not too far from the river but blocked by rocks on one side to eliminate the sneaking up on factor. "Is that a good spot Daddy?"

Frustrated, Zahara tossed down teh slave who told her that the D'vinn's were not in residence and she rode off to Arthur's. But he wasn't in his house either which she found out after busting the lock on his door. She'd have to get that fixed at some point of course. "Where the hell is everybody?" Pulling out the link stone, which she just happened to have on her person, she dialed Arthur. "Arthur, where the hell are you?"

She duely walked over to Lharika and pat her on the head. Though at the next insult that was given, Isle's big mouth got the last word again. "Fake?! And how dare you speak of someone you don't even know!" She was beginning to see that all the stories she had heard about humans were fairly accurate. At least in this case. No, Isleandra Rainsong did not back down.

"Yes that's a very good place." Walking over there and in fact spying the few plants that he recognized and needed and then he set the still twitching fish down on the ground as he gathered some fire materials. "Come here, let me show you how to make a fire." Pulling out his dagger he set the tip in the kindling and then grabbed a rock. "You want to hit metal or flint with another stone so that sparks are made, watch." Doing just that and the sparks catching the dried material, making it smoke. "Blow on it so it gets air and doesn't go out now."
