Linda didn't know what to say as the cheerleaders came by. Kori was laughing.
"Can you believe we were actually able to talk about that loser West's powers."
Aspen laughed.
"Yeah he must be freaking out right about now... everything's like soo slow."
Linda looked at them ..
" That's not exactly nice.. Can't you guys talk about something else?"
The cheerleaders gave her a dirty look and Kori was chewing bubblegum in front of Linda loudly.
"What do you care about it? Freak! We all know... we found out why it is that even though so many guys ask you out you turn them all down."
Kori popped a bubble in front of Linda loudly but Linda was quiet.
"It's cause of what happened to Jason isn't it? Some of us saw you here last year even though you didn't go to this school. I guess I wouldn't want date anyone again either if I dated a guy who died and came back as a psychotic freak."
Kori laughed and Linda gave them an angry stare.
"Unless you want what you said about intentionally taking away Wally's powers all over the front page you'll stop right there. Right now everyone is just blaming the Sith...imagine what would happen if the faculty found out that it was intentional."
Kori and Aspen became quiet. Linda quickly saw a hat and some sunglasses someone had left at the bar and handed them on Wally in such a way not to bring attention the fact that he was still there.

Wally slipped on the hat and sunglasses. Fortunately, at Hero High, this sort of disguise was capable of fooling ANYONE. He slipped away from Linda and the cheerleaders, fuming about what they were saying.
Buncha harpies! Why had he ever dated any of them in the first place?!
The cheerleaders put in their orders and went to go sit in a booth far away from Linda and Wally, who were able to sit at the bar area as some students cleared out. Wally put an elbow on the bar and rested his temple in his hand. This stunk.
"Hey, thanks for sticking up for me. I'm not used to someone else playing the hero for me."

Theo Altman "I uh...I have a friend date though, and I can't blow her off...." Teddy paused, pulling out his cell phone to quickly text Dani. Cho needs my help for something...Idk what. Should I go? "What's going on?" Cho scowled."Something far more important than going out and playing mini-golf or whatever it is that you do. It-" Cho stopped, pulled the two of them into Teddy's room, looked around and closed the door. "It's a matter of life and death." He took a deep breath."Please. I need your help. No one else's will do."

"But why me?" Teddy said, unsure of himself as the door was closed behind him. Oh God. Was Cho going to make out with him? This was a Billy tactic if he ever saw one. "I like having friends too..."
This was very nerve wracking. "You know...Wallace has great ...make out powers, and ...Jack saved the school before. Billy can...glow bluely. And uh...Dani can rip things to shreds with blades that come out of her hands. Hartley has ...mice?"

Linda looked at Wally a little surprise.
" What? That? That was nothing."
She then thought a moment.. Wally was one of the most popular kids in school of course he's never been the target of diva tantrums or egotistical jocks. Linda on the other hand was in the journalism program and generally seen as a nerd. She was use to dealing with crap from the popular kids...Linda didn't even realize that she was holding on to Wally's hand.
" Besides, even without your powers, you risked your life to save me. You're the real hero. Well, at least you are my hero.."

"Huh?" She could feel her phone go off, and when she opened it she made a face at the text from Teddy.
"Oh man... " She whined a little. She didn't know how to respond... She couldn't tell him what to do.. but what if it was important? She texted back.

Kurt Wagner...
*After bamfing off to tell Bobby Drake the football team's plans, Kurt followed Donnie "Look At My Hammer" Blake across campus. It was his job to find out the details of the date. Kurt wished that Powell had been sent to do it. That kid's stealth suit work well in this situation.
Kurt followed Donnie to the guy's dorm. He must have been going to Achilles's room. Kurt bamfed outside all of the windows until he found Achilles's. He clung to the windowsill and listened for Donnie's knock.*

Where was Achilles after all the action?
In his dorm room, trying to make sense of daytime TV talk shows, where else would you expect the greatest warrior in history to be? He looked at the remote to the television that was in his and Wally's dorm room and gave it a click and found ...
"Another one!?"
... a show with four women as hosts this time, and currently arguing with one another. Another click and a man and women were arguing on a stage over whether or not he was the father of her child. An odd debate as both of them were light skinned and the baby had an olive skin tone, Achilles thought dryly.
Another click...
"So were the days of our lives..." he repeated the tag line spoken.
He aimed the remote to turn the screen off when there was a knock at the door. he forgot the screen and dropped the remote and opened the dorm room door.
"Donald Blake..."

Jen had woken up to see the letter had not been a dream. It was still there and she was really at a dilemma over the note. She could tell Achilles himself of this stupid plan or she could confront Bobby and try to find out what his plan was. If it was to cheer up Achilles she could go with that but an actual blind date, she couldn't believe it for a minute. Though it had given her a few nice dreams.
"Maybe I need to find Karen." Jen sighed and went into the shower room to get ready. She knew there was no school today but she needed to go in and see what she could help with.

Donald Blake(with Kurt Wagner eavesdropping)...
Achilles. You don't have to say my whole name you know. Everyone on the team are considered brothers. May I come in?
*Donnie followed Achilles into the room and looked around. What a contrast...one side of the room was neat and orderly. A military-like precision kept weapons, armor, and Achilles's personal items in place. The other side was a mess. Clothes all over, opened boxes Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs, and something that resembled a half-eaten pizza. Obviously it was Wally's.*
Your brothers on the team are worried about you. We haven't seen you since your wedding and the aftermath. It must be very painful and we want to help. Valentine's Day is a traditional holiday for dates and couples...so we know a guy you could spend some time with.

Achilles frowns and crosses his arms.
"I am aware of the traditions of this ... Valentine's Day, Donald. Is it not the one that makes a mockery of the very god who united Patroclus and myself?"
The mention of another man makes him tense.
"Patroclus was taken from me not more than three ... four months ago. Now you think it would be within my best interests to dishonor his memory by 'being' with another?"

Donnie/Kurt...
*Donnie cleared his throat.*
Most modern day people don't recognize our pantheons anymore, Achilles. They don't mean to mock the Old Gods. Most people mean well...it's a holiday to celebrate their love or find new one.
And we're not asking you to do either of those things. We're not trying to push to *clears throat* be with another dude. We just thought you'd like to spend some time one on a day when most other people are coupled up. Piotr wouldn't push anything. Wouldn't you rather go out and have a fun time with someone than sit hear and watch trashy daytime television?
Uh...I heard it through the door.

Achilles flushed a bright scarlet and glanced back over his shoulder at the TV. he looked back at Donnie and avoided eye contact at first.
"It ... was all that was on. Wally has, cable, and the only thing on is such things."
He sighed and folded his arms.
"I do not know, Donald. Sharing company is one thing. Socializing as brothers. I do not want Piotr to get the wrong idea. To lose a mate is one thing. A soulmate is quite another."
He sighed and leaned back against the dresser where his swords were carefully in place.
"What would this entail?"

Cassie pouted..
"I don't know. The last thing I remembered I went to cuddle up to you and then I felt something hot and heavy on top of me.... and there's like three people all in the room."
Cassie clung on to Chris's blanket and then looked at Chris.
"I think you should see what Karen wants..."

He seems serious, but that could be because he's Asian, and they always seem serious...well, the Chinese at least. That sounded really racist. Oops. Oh well. Teddy sent the text, then looked over towards Cho again, biting down on his lower lip nervously.
