Siako opened his door and peered into the hallway. He looked back and forth. Finally, he exited door and shut it behind himself. Siako unfolded a peice of paper and scanned through it. It had the names of all the teachers in the dorms around him. He decided to take this oppertunity to meet his fellow educators. " Let's see what's behind door number one." He was hoping someone could show him around and get him used to the surrounding.

Siako walked up to room T13, "Gotta love bad luck."Siako's love for all things dark caused him to knock on Ms. Keyli's door. "Say's here a female...uh-oh."

Oh man, where could she have gone, hmm, *Erald is looking from the top of the building* AH HA, there she is, and she is fighting something. Oh man, what a pain. *Erald runs over and sees her fighting a giant praying mantis*

Keyli woke up and looked about the place, "where did they go now?". She looked under the bed and looked at to the two pair of eyes staring back at her, "why don't you guys just talk to me? i'll understand you know!". The eyes stare blankly back at her.

thumbelinah got up and went for a walk. when she walked past the pool she saw danielle. "Hi Danielle" She said as she waved out

(ok everyone, pay attention now.)

An announcement was heard, blaring across the campus.

“Attention students and staff, in honor of the ending of the summer season, there will be a great celebration. It will be held this week, which, during that time no classes will be held. That means the students and teachers will get a break and enjoy the last days of summer, until fall and winter come and-”

There was a muffled conversation heard then:

“Mr. Beezlebox! I was going to-”

“Hey boys and girls! Charlie Here! At the end of the celebration there will be a great tournament of indescribable fun! The students that want to participate must sign up today and tomorrow, No exceptions! Sorry teachers, this tournament is not open for the staff, but we do need judges. Any of the staff that want to be judges must also sign up, but on the sheet that says ‘judges’.” He laughed at his own horrible joke and continued, “The tournament will be held in one week and the rules will be explained then, except for this one rule: No student is allowed to kill or horribly maim another student, if so, that student will be brought to justice by the police. All who are participating must be in their appropriate locker rooms and all spectators will be seated in the bleachers around the fighting area when the tournament starts, after that, the participating students will be seated and will be able to watch their fellow students compete. All combat will be done in their respectful matches and in the tournament area. Therefore, all students that want to participate, sign up, all teachers who want to be judges, also sign up, near the Main office.”

“Mr. Beezlebox. You forgot the prize!”

“Oh yes! The champion! The winner will get a trophy for the Summer Celebration 2007 and will be acknowledged in front of the school as the Summer Celebration 2007 Champion! As said earlier, teachers don’t worry about it, you’ll get your chances some day in the future, just not now. That will be all, please continue on with whatever you were doing.”

(basically, Roleplay your selves over to the main office and sign, but be warned, there are or no stats, or battle system, so you are using your words to fight. Yes this could lead to major godmodding and autohitting, but thats why teachers are going to be the judges, they will judge you based on how well your character fights, and how you describe thier fighting and so on and so forth. No, this will not lead to being "lit is better describers so they are going to win" because the judges must be fair, and plus, there isn't too many lits in here anyway. One reason I'm trying to do a tournament, is to encourage people to go into depth when they write...er...type. Another is to encourage innactive roleplayers to come back and roleplay some more. This is pretty much the first tournament here at Elemental High, so it's pretty much a test for me right now. If I get enough signatures to even do a tournament, I might do it again some time. If I get a lot of signatures, then I will definitely do it again. If I dont get enough sigs, then I will extend it another day and hope for the best. One last thing, I will not accept any applications from now until the tourny is over. All right, now that I burned your eyeballs from reading this, I'm done, get back to roleplaying now.)

Reika glared at Nekavah outside of the nurses office. "What the hell do you think you're doing here?!" she demanded in a harsh whisper. He only smiled and winked. "Just keeping a close eye on my little sister." Just then the announcement came on, they listened intently, though not letting eachother out of their sight. Nekavah laughed after they heard the no killing or maiming part. "That spoils the fun out of everything now doesn't it?" he drawled. Reika shivered and stared at him blankly. After the announcement she sighed and turned around heading for the office. She could hear his footsteps as he followed close behind. "Why're you following me?" she asked without turning around. "I'm not following you, I'm going to sign up for the tournament of course!" he exclaimed cheerfully as he hurried ahead to hold the door open for her. Reika exhaled loudly and pushed past him. He was really making her nervous now. 'Doesn't suprise me that he got into the school...' she thought to herself bitterly. She heard him chuckle from behind.

"Are you two here to sign up for the tournament?" asked the lady at the front desk. She was wearing a navy blue business suit and the kind of glasses that have beads hanging off the glasses. She smiled cheerfully waiting for their answer. Nekavah was the first to reply. "Yes! We would love to apply!" The lady smiled up at him, clearly pleased with his attitude and held out a clip board and a pen. Her eyes widened impressed with his handwriting. He looked up to her and winked. Reika rolled her eyes as the lady flushed. "Yes I'd like to sign." she muttered and signed her name. She didn't have fancy handwriting, and she didn't care much for impressions. Not like it mattered anymore anyway. The lady took the clip board without a word and went back to her business. Reika quickly turned around and attempted her escape. Darn.

Nekavah looped his arm in hers and whispered in her ear. "You sure have a way with people little one."

She growled and wrenched her arm out of his. "Leave me alone!" she cried and ran towards the lake.

Nekavah smiled and flipped a coin he just found on the floor in the air. "Perfect." he thought aloud.

Reika was crying silently yet miserably by the time she got to the waters edge. She pulled off her coat and shoes and dropped her bag, running out onto the water. Her head was throbbing as she danced in pure anger and fear. She danced and danced until her body went numb. She allowed herself to sink onto her knees and ease herself to lay on her back. 'You are troubled young one...' a voice said from below the water. "I'm going to die Cadmus..." Reika whispered between sobs. "There's no cure to Atropine..." Cadmus went silent as he swam around her, his serpent body sliding over and under the surface every so often. Reika rose to a sitting position. "It's strange, frightening even, knowing that your life is about to end." She said, composed and calmer now as she gazed upward towards the sky. She could feel the water vibrate around her as he spoke. "Do you want to die?" he asked slowly. She shook her head. "I don't really care to be honest. I'm not afraid of death itself, just what will happen afterward." She felt the water rumble again. "You wont fight?" She shook her head again. "I know he's got it made already." she replied, reflecting back on the way he had been acting earlier. "There's no point." Cadmus hissed and rose out of the water to talk to her face to face. "No point?! NO POINT?!" he growled. "You've got your whole life ahead of you, so much potential, things you could do, and you're willing to give your life up already?!" he hissed furiously. Reika shrank back. "I'm accepting death! I know I'm going to die! There's no stopping it!" Cadmus hissed and snapped his massive jaws. "YOU'RE GIVING UP!" he snapped. Reika went silent as she thought to herself. "You can't give up now young one. Not yet not now.. You need to--"

"I GET IT ALREADY!" Reika cried, throwing her hands in the air exhasperated as she cut him off. "I GET IT I WON'T GIVE UP! I'LL FIGHT!!" She rose to her feet and walked back to land. She pulled on her jacket angrily and yanked her bag off the ground. She was about to head back to her dorm when she stopped. She turned her head slightly behind her. 'Thank you Cadmus...' she said to him telepathically. She practically felt him smile behind her. 'Take care little one...' he replied.

She walked into her dorm and sank to her bed. She had been feeling so tired lately, that all she felt like doing was sleeping. Rossi was out hunting apparently, he hadn't gone out recently so she guessed that it was good for him. "A short nap won't hurt anyone..." she whispered drowsily before closing her eyes, replaying in her head the events that occured today.

Reika's eyes snapped open and she scrambled out of bed. "Who the heck--?" she muttered and opened the door. "Umm Who are you?" she asked him warily.
