She nodded slowly, she could understand that. Yet she prefered the darkness, it was much like the way her heart was becoming. She had tried to fight it, and had failed. Now she was just tired and uncertain if she would ever be free.

She almost snarled, but refrained. How could she trust in something that had stabbed her in the heart to many times? Plus there was more to it than love. Much more to it than that. Her body was used, she had no choice in the matter and her greatest fear was that she had finally given up. Yet..she sighed. She didn't want people to feel sorry for her. Still she would not put her own pain and sorrows out at this one, instead she spoke.

Silently she curled up on the lege, her fore paws resting over the edge. She just didn't care anymore. She was tired, so terribly tired. Of pain, sorrow, loss and lonelyness. Her eyes closed as she layed the right side of her face against the cold rock.

*sits on the edge of the cliff and looks at the sun set on the ocean. she looks at the sky. her black angel wings shined with the light. she was consumed in her thoughts about the one she loved. tears fell down her cheeks. she was so far from him, and she missed him. she sat there deep in thought till the moon was half way in the sky. then she went inside her house.*

She made her way up to the cliffs edge, once agian taking up her place right where the balance of life and death took hold. One step forward and she would die, one step back and she would live. Yet she made neither choice now, to live was to feel pain, to die was to be free. Yet even as she stood there, contimplating her next move, an image fluttered across her mind. Her sister's. What would they do if she died? If she willingly took her life? She sat down shivering and shaking horribly, her body and mind tormented by to much. To much. She could not cry out loud as a wolf, yet she could cry in a sense. In her heart, and it was there that a fearsome wound appeared. It was there that the last bits of peace and love she held on to, cracked and broke apart. Those last pieces of what had held back her greatest fear, had shattered. She would no longer care, she would no longer love, and she would no longer feel. She was a fool. With a fool's heart, but no more. Her heart had become something all together unknown to her. It no longer beat for hope, it no longer kept going for a childish dream. It would no longer tighten at pain. With her head bowed to the sky, Sythra, the child and the spirit of her kind, died. Her reason for protecting and helping beings was gone. Her thoughts and idea's forgotten. Her belief's and wishes hated. All that had made her what she was, had been her downfall. She would wander now as a beast only half alive, a beast who understood, but failed to live, failed to dream, to hope,to love, and most of all, failed to believe.

Slowly her head lifted, her once life filled eyes empty as they took in the sky. Her fur felt damp, as if she had been sitting out during a small rain. Perhaps it was so, perhaps it wasn't. What did she know anyway? As still as the rock she sat upon, she watched as the world changed, her perception shift, and her love for those she had come to trust, fall like a whisper on a dying wind.
Nothing about her moved, not even her energy which used to move out to touch and check on those that had been connected to her in a sense. She had once heard some one tell her, that one day, her love would be her downfall, her very nature of caring and protecting would be her death. How right they where. Strange that it was her brother Altair who had told her these things, strange that, that blood thirsty b*****d had been correct.
She felt the wind around her stir, and knew her father was trying to touch her, trying to offer comfort. She had failed him, just like she had failed her ownself. So instead of accepting him into her mind like she used to, she blocked him off, Locked her mind to even him.
As she did so she felt the wind pick up even more and begin to push against her with a vengence, she understood. Oh how she understood that her father feared losing her like he had his son. But it was already to late, to late to save the shattered being that had once been a source of pride for his people.
Now mixed with the wind, she felt water pelt against her face, her father cried for her. For her loss, for her pain and because he now knew, he had lost his daughter.

She slowly began to move again, her body coming to life. Barely. She had no desires or wishes to be anyone any longer. In all silence she watched the sky, ever wondering why her life now passed her by.
