Mag's head turned to Kazuma without leaving the bow. "It wasn't anything I couldn't handle." The cool words left her lips like a snakes hiss, calm, collected, rehersed. After a few moments of no response from Nadiya Maggie left her bow turning on the spot. She wasn't sure what she was supposed to do now, but she assumed she would get the , 'You're not fit to be here, please go home' speech. With a sigh of disconent Mag moved over to a secluded part of the Grove. She had gotten lucky with the attack this time, sometimes they would be much much worse, often days after she had gone without medication. Mag crossed her legs taking five or six deep breaths and then returned to her feet. It seemed the other girl was about to enter a spar with the teacher and Kazuma was reading a book. She walked over to the small boy taking a seat next to him. She looked at the title of the book, something something something puppets something something. Only one word really stuck out to her, probobly because it was something they had talked about earlier. "So are we supossed to read, or just wait?"

((PM me if I'm online and not posting on here. I'm usually wondering the site for something to do if I'm on, but not posting. Because as a couple of you might have noticed... I do PM when I get tired of waiting. xd So feel free to do the same.))

Kazuma looked at Mag and put his book back into his pocket and reached down and pulled out a new book, having already finished his last book and cracking it open. It was another puppet book, this one covered the basics of puppetry itself. It had a guide on how to learn the jutsu itself. This is the book the article in the Hand Guide was talking about. Kazuma then answered. "We're just passing time right now Mag." He sais. "So do whatever you'd wish to." He asked his eye slowly moving to the wristband then back to her eyes then to his book where he would start reading it. It wasn't a hard book to read the not training portions of it, but the rest of the manual in the back required a bit more practive then anything else. But it was still a nuisence in terms of text and activity. Until it would hit the guide on mastering technique that is.

((Ack! Sorry, tests and essays and finals are among me until friday so Tomorow and thursday Ill be a little less diligent in posting than normal, but lemme do all that now while I have a break between essays.))

Nadiya was about to make a move when Mag approached her. Hey, she was using her name. It would make things easier with two girls and two guys. It wasn't custom but she would see if it simplified things. Anyway, Mag was very humble about her condition. Granted, Nadiya didn't know much about the disease or whatever affliction imposed it self on her, but there was worse. She smiled at the question as it was cute the way children worried so much over trivial things,

"Darling, dont be bothered by that. As you grow stronger that will be of less and less worry. People of standard health have dealt with penetration of arrows far worse than that. Now I am helping . . .Gwen! Sorry, I'm trying to use your names now. Um, Im helping Gwen with her combat skills so you have a number of options. You could either train by yourself, as I've given tools to train in speed, strength, mind, whatever. Or you could train with Kazuma as he is a dilligent worker and surely he would enjoy the company of another. Once Hachiro finishes up, wqe will move on as a group again, but now is your time to relax or train, however you see fit!"

With that Nadiya turned back to Gwen with intensity in her eyes. She of course only intended to attack with taijutsu as it was easier to hold back strength with her fists rather than a weapon she was masterful with.

Kazuma hearing that Nadiya had finally started the spar with Gwen. He didn't know how long it would last until it was over, but Kazuma listened in as he read his book. He wasn't a good listener, but he knew how to tell and ow from a smack. It was actually kinda interesting to see how Gwen would react to the situation. If she would freak out at facing an opponentnt such as a Jounin or not would tell him how much Gwen believe in herself, one day Gwen might be able to compete with Nadiya, but then again, Kazuma would probably pass them both with his training habits. But this was a prediction he would keep to himself. He had faith in himself, but not so much as to declare being better then anyone anytime soon. He had still yet to learn jutsus from Nadiya. Something he did look forward to, but who knew how much longer he would have to wait, after this though he would have something to look forward to. He wouldn't start another book, cause he not only didn't have anymore on him. He didn't want to start something he might not be able to finish, but if the inactivity persisted he would give a slightly harder book a try, picked out from Nadiya's things, which he should probably steal a shirt to cover his bare bruised back and chest, along with a new pair of pants.

((Alright Vain, now the idea behind a basic attack. Everyone has an attack bonus equal to their level. As you go up in levels you'll be able to make multiple attacks, but for us in this fight, we'll each switch off doing one thing. 'Thing' could be an attack, or you could also use a skill or jutsu such as intimidate or shunshin and that would be your turn. But Im getting ahead of myself, lets just each do an attack or two. So your base attack is your level. You then add your strength modifier for a melee attack or your dexterity modifier for a ranged attack.
So a punch from a level thirty with a 5 strength mod would look like:
Attack:d20+35

Technically it would be even higher if I put skill points into taijutsu, but again, Im getting ahead of myself.

If the number I roll plus my bonus is equal to or higher than your dodge bonus, I hit and damage. A lot of people forget the equal to part. So I'll attack, then show how to do damage (Unless I roll a 1-3) then you imitate my style.))

Nadiya was again focused on the combat with gwen and wanted to see how she reacted or lacked reaction against an attack. There would be little power or precision behind it, to match the level of the opponent. This wasnt about winning of course, it's about observing her style. Nadiya lunged in the air, and raised her arm with a fist clenched, she then came down, with an excited look right towards her target.

(Yeah short post again, Im brain dead right now.)

Attack:d20+5(strength)
HP:600
CP:180
MHp:690
DB:29
(It's typical to put your hp, cp, mhp, and dodge under your post in a fight as well)

((Ahhh dear Kazuma, I know what Im doing. I did not forget to roll as that post only said that I turned my attention back to Gwen. I did not actually attack. I wanted to save my attack for the next post where I planned to explain to her the stuff behind an attack. I admire your initiative, but I must ask that you do not take liberties on my behalf please. Thank you.

Anyway, Vain. Damage is a bit different. You don't roll a dice. You roll a random number between blank and blank. For me I dont want to demolish you in one attack so I'm going to hold back and make it low damage. But rolling damage consists of clicking on post action, then on random number. When the new windows show up, you put the minimum and maximum damage you can do.
If you were to do a stanard taijutsu attack, it is 1-6+your strength mod. Since your strength mod is 0, your tai damage is 1-6. When someone does damage to you, at the bottom of your following post you would mark that hp down.
So say I do 2 damage to you. At the bottom you would write
HP:9-2=7))

Nadiya barely landed the attack with her flawed strike. Before landing, she unclenched her fist and held out one finger. Crashing on the ground, pressing the grass down, she flicked Glen in the forehead with powerful fingers, not doing horrible damage, but still disorienting her a bit.

Damage:1-2(held back attack)
HP:600
CP:180
MHP:690
DB:29

Gwen watched as her teacher came down on her, she had no idea as to what she should really do, her teacher is so much stronger and faster then her there is no way to get away. So Gwen just stood there and took the 'hit', if you can call it that. As she got flicked she took a step back and fell down, landing on her butt. She sat there rubbing her forehead before she recovered. She then lunged towards her teacher, her right fist extended towards her teacher.

[ Is this all right ?]

((Perfect. And like I said in the PM, Nadiya is just standing there, so I can see if you understood damage instructions as well, so its an auto-hit.))

Kazuma kept reading his book while sitting there. The topic of controlling puppets fascinated him far more then making them ever could. His passion in life was being a shinobi puppet master. He could have more easily been a puppeteer in some back, controlling hand or string puppets. But the idea of commanding a puppet to battle was on a level Kazuma could only dream about in this point of his life. He was interested that there were so many ways and variations of controling puppets. From controlling one, to controlling ten. The whole ideas made him curious how someone could control a puppet with only one finger. Was it that it was chakra alone that made the various parts work? Or was it simply that there's a special mechanism inside the puppet that you can add to do such a feat? Kazuma though the idea was a pain, considering if that were the case, then making a puppet would only prove to be that much more difficult. And Kazuma didn't like it when things were difficult, but he was going to learn that with Nadiya, difficult is pretty much all you get. Kazuma, in time, would learn how to deal with Nadiya's training methods, though harsh and long, it did seem to help the lesson stick much better.

Kazuma found that his mind wonders easily, and so it wondered from his book as he looked around at his class mates and probably a few of them being his future team mates. He had only hoped to go ahead and learn all the jutsu he could from Nadiya, seeing as how he would need them to go out into the world to be at the least somewhat prepared. Though Kazuma didn't mind waiting for the others, he tired easily of waiting at the same time. He just wanted to jump ahead of the whole class and learn whatever justu he could now. But he would first have to learn the basic jutsu. The jutsu that he needed to learn to start learning how to do others. He knew how to rid his body of Chakra, but he had no idea how to utilize and form it into something useable. It was something that was far out of his grasp, yet so close to him being able to touch. Kazuma sat and stared at Nadiya with a 'give me a jutsu to learn... please?!' look. Though honestly, his time was better off spent reading his book, because Nadiya knew how far ahead he was from the others yet she hadn't given him anything else to do. It was something he hated to do. But he would just sit irratated at the wait he has so far endured to learn a jutsu. Sooner or later he would try to get out basic info on her of the basic jutsu's and how to do them if the training didn't pick up it's pace. Kazuma had big dreams for such a small guy, and his dreams were truly something interesting.

His goal was not to be the most powerful ninja ever. Or even to be the most feared, or liked. Kazuma's dream was to be a legend! He wanted to live behind a legacy, and be known the world around. He didn't care how it happened or when it would happen. He just wanted to be thought of and be written in text books. How he would achieve this, he didn't know. But he did know want he had to do to gain such a title. His focus once again returned to his book as he pondered the mystery of legend status. He knew that the Mizukage's where generally mentioned in books, but they weren't all legends. Sure they had the power over the village, but as dad put it. 'When Mistress became the Mizukage, she destroyed all the history of Kirigakure, so being Mizukage doesn't make you a legend. It just means you'll be remembered in this village until something like that happens.' Kazuma didn't know how to become a legend if documents could be so easily destroied without a single though of keeping them. Kazuma's book though had been a somewhat interesting read though on the technique itself. He didn't think that a puppet could wieght so much, he would have to devise a way to lighten his load if he were to ever have more the a single puppet.

Kazuma dropped the book as his thought over ran his mind so much he couldn't possibly read any longer. He had to know what made a shinobi a legend. If it wasn't a title, and it wasn't absolute power. Then what was it? He had to know. The thought itself would consume his mind. Though it shouldn't. His only reason for becoming a shinobi was to be free, yes. But, his goal as a shinobi was to become a legend. Even if it was a legendary puppet master it would be more then enough for Kazuma. But he had to know how it would happen. Kazuma pondered the thought as he looked up towards the sky to look at the clouds pass by. They seemed so free and lacked care for anything so big. He could only wish that he could be as free, that he didn't have to prove anything to anyone. He didn't, but in his mind he had to prove something to himself. He had to prove that he could beat whatever disease has taken hold of his father, and that he could become a competent shinobi even if it did. His father had told him that no one in his family had been a shinobi before, at least to his knowledge. He had to know for sure though if there was a way to beat this disease down and still keep going regardless of it.

((50-50 is evil... can't wait til I have an Int Mod of like 2 or 3, since that's what I seem to miss by most of the time... o.o))

Kazuma snapped himself out thinking so heavily and went right back into his reading. The book fascinated him, but even when he is interetested he would still get preoccupied with thinking on other things. But back to puppetry and the book. The book covered several topic on the dos and donts of puppetry. And even finger techniques for controlling them. He would hols out of of his hands and practice and actual finger pattern on making a human anatomy puppet move it's various body parts. Kazuma had now noticed he had the techniqe wrong the whole time. The patterns he normally did were more of random finger movements then anything else. This newly found knowledge of the puppetry technique would be most beneficial to him seeing as how now he knew some of the techniques to controlling them. But with a lack of the technique and a puppet to have and train on made the knowledge currently useless, but nonetheless it did help him understand that it wasn't just random finger movements that made a puppet move, it was various particular movements of the fingers, hand, and wrists that made such a thing possible. This was the most useful thing to him today to have figured out.

((Like I said... 2 or 3... -.-'))

Kazuma's attention though drifted back away from his book looking around for something to do. He was tired of just reading, though interested in it he was, he could stand not doing anything other then that. He would look at Gwen to take in her beauty, then to Mag and he wristband which he had a great curiousity in. Then over to Hachiro, who had still not done anything in terms of training yet still. Then it went to Nadiya, who could give him a jutsu to learn, he knew there had to be something he could learn while waiting on the others that would not be required of him to learn in order to become a Genin. He didn't want to jump ahead of the rest, but he had to in order to get anywhere fast. He wanted to participate in the next Chuunin exams... whenever that was, but not only did he need team mates to do such a thing. He also needed experience. And the more he got the better he thought to himself. It's not like he would become a Chuunin right after becoming a Genin. But who knew, he might have the skill required by then if he kept up his training or even quickened it. Though he needed to such ideas out of his head. He couldn't do very much considering that he was an Academy Student, but he could probably get what he required if he kept reading and doing his random training. Who knows, maybe Nadiya had an actual puppet in her stuff that he could borrow and try to practice on while he waited on the others. Though it would take him a few days though, meaning everyone around him would have to wait on him to get done to learn it, so he thought it better to keep such a request for after he had learned the basics.

Kazuma kept his mind off of his book not really thinking on very much anymore. He was craving some company quite a bit and wished that Mag would say something to him. It wasn't that he needed it, but he would rather have it due to the fact he hadn't talked to them for very long. Only short, quick bursts of conversatin here and there. But even if Mag would talk to him, after he got done with the book he wouldn't have much to do. In fact he would probably have less to do due to a lack of things Mag could do. He didn't want to have to trigger another one of her attacks. Though he still wasn't convinced it was a disease seeing how it came and went so quickly. And her medication plan was actually quite irregular, like she was treating something that didn't happen on a regular basism but was rather tripped by a certain event. Kazuma didn't know much about it, but he didn't find one thing that she did when she had her attack to be natural. 'Pills should be taken on a regular basis with a disease...' he thought to himself. 'There has to be more to it then that.' He had experience with diseases due to his father's muscle disease. His father had to take several pills a day to keep his muscles from completely failing him. And because of that he knew that pills were on a planned schedule, not whenever the mood suited him. He wanted so badly to say she wasn't sick, but he didn't know what it was to support this theory. So he decided to stay quite about it and monitor the situation of how her scheduele was and try to figure out what it is exactly.
