(( twidles thumbs))
Steffen was doing all he could to stop himself from laughing out loud as he arrived at the gates of heaven. It was sickeninly bright and cheery, hardly a place any respectable demon would go... It made the lord sick to think he had once stooped as low as to be involved with one of the winged vermin of the skies. " Hello my pretties... Why do you not leave those gates behind and come play?" He taunted at the group of snivvling apprentince angels, each one as pathetic as the next. " Don't think the gates will protect you form me.. I can destroy them at my whim." he stated, walking slowly forward to the shining gates that separated him from the heavenly realm. Each step forward made the stone in his breast pocket pulsate faster and faster, made it's energy increase and the pain that he was ever feeling grow heavier and heavier. The evil grin he had worn was now a grimace, his fangs bared as he nearly shouted now. " Are the Angels frightened of one Host of hell? Are you afraid to see if you can banish me from your barrier?" A crisp voice cut through the air, as accusing as the eyes that now gazed at him. " Be not afraid children, He can not enter into our sacred realm, else unimagineable pain will befall him. He is as powerless as the howling wind to a mountain."
Steffen recognized the angel who spoke, a strong willed woman that had been involved with the 'trial' of his former heavely partner. He sneared. "Are you calling my bluff Viviana? Surley you would know just how powerful I am... You would know how I can persuade-"
The Angelic woman cut him off in mid sentence. " I will hear no more from you at our gates. What you are is a monser, and Forgiveness is great in the sight of god for his angels." She narrowed glistneing eyes, folding her wings over her shouldres lightly " The one you seek will have nothing more to do with you and your reatched race." The group of fledgling angels seemd to gather some courage and stood thier ground around the angel Viviana. Stefen scowled, cluthing his fists, saying " I am not interested in Her, If given the change I would rip her to shreds myself... But for mow my appetite msut be taken care of else where."
" Not with my angels, beast" Vivian stated flatley. He laughed replying " There is nothing you can do to stop me. I will have one, one way or another..." The conversation was over there, Steffen could no longer bear to be so close to the heavenly gates bearing his burden, and so quickly left to the very edge of the heavenly realm. It would take time for one of the angels to grow curious... one of them to show which winged brat he was looking for this time. He could wait, the dark lord was used to waiting for his prey.

Haucon gave Holly a quizzical look as he dug in his pocket for his key. "Thanks." he said smiling. "I think the same about you..." He led the way up the stairs and paused briefly at the door, once again muttering under his breath and pushing on the door. Once again it rippled and then opened. He stepped through and held the door for Holly, Liam, and the newly named Lucky.
"We're back!" he called to Dream and Kihaku, setting the food on the counter. "I'm going to go check on Leila, maybe she'll eat with us if she's awake." he said optimistically. "Liam, try the milk in the fridge for Lucky, or maybe he'll eat some take out..." he said with a laugh, making his way to his bedroom.
Haucon opened the door and stepped into the darkness, closing the door behind himself, and leaving the lights off. The room felt hot and sticky, and he immediately felt like he had a fever. He crouched down beside the bed and ran a hand over Leila's hair. "Hey." he whispered gently touching her shoulder. "I'm back...you ok?"

Dream sat up from the couch and waved to the others as they entered. Upon seeing the delivery of the food, he got up and walked over to it. It did smell good. He hadn't eaten in some time now, and it would be nice to have some. But of course it was Haucon's house, and they were the ones who had gone off to get it. Obviously, he should be the one to open and give the food.
Meanwhile, he went over to Holly and Liam. He welcomed both back, and then turned specifically to Holly. "Hey, you think you could help me out with something? It's about Kihaku, I've been trying to find a way to restore her memory. Maybe you could help me."

When the others returned, Kihaku remained on the couch. Her face somewhat blank, she was distracted with her own thoughts as she toyed with the necklace. She focused, however, as Dream mentioned her memory loss to Holly, and smiled at the girl warmly.

"Just...a bad dream I guess..." Leila replied, sounding a bit annoyed with herself as she placed her hand on his. Not wanting to discuss it further, she tried to get up, mumbling something about a good smell and her stomach feeling empty. Unfortunately, all the blood rushed from her head a bit, causing her to stumble. "Where...where did you go?" she whispered.

Haucon grabbed Leila's elbow and steadied her. "Hey, take it slow ok?" he said gently. "I went to get some food, everybody's here if you want some. I'm sorry I left you here..." he said trailing off. He kissed her forehead and smiled in the dark. "C'mon, let's go eat. I mean..." he coughed and offered his arm to her like a gentleman, smiling "M'lady, I'd be honored if you'd grace us with your presence."

Leila smiled a bit and pinched him lightly on the arm. "Oh, stop being silly. But would you mind if I ate in here? I don't really have the energy to be getting up and talking to people right now..." her voice trailed off a bit as her thoughts drifted back to her nightmare. The truth is, reliving what had happened between her and Liam scared her, and she realized that things could have gotten a lot worse...

A worried look crossed Haucon's face. "Yeah, that'd be ok." he said flipping on the light, and feeling sheepish. "Here sit down, are you alright?" he asked. "I'll bring you a plate, we got kimchi, spicy beef and broccoli, general Tsao's...I don't remember what else, but what'll you have?" he asked, still looking a little worried.

"Some of everything would be nice." Leila reclaimed her seat on the mattress and squinted as the bright lights came on. She kept them shut for a while, a small headache running through her temples until her eyes finally got adjusted to the light. "I don't even know what kimchi is..." she said with a smirk, running her hands through her hair. "By the way, there's a...different voice out there that I haven't heard before. Has someone else joined our little rambunctious group?"

Scurveylurv "A decision most benifitting a demon." Steffen chuckled, deciding he indeed would keep this demoness around. " Taking what is useful to you at the time. Never fear my kin, the lord of fire and brimstone rewards those who serve him...And if not a small bit of persuasion can be used." He hinted at the chance of treachery on thier part and watches to see how she would react. They were 'Ambitious' demons after all. When she stood, he continued to trace her figure with the hungry eyes that would soon be searching for food once more. "As for what was lost...It matters little at the moment. When all is said and done it will be found and destroyed." He grinned devilishly, this smile suiting his personality. " Dear dear sister...How would you like to hunt an angel?" Steffen blinked his bright eyes once, shifting his gaze skyward now. " One of those winged rats is a source of the light aura no doubt. I think it's best if we rid ourselves of that vermin early on." He raised his eyebrows as if asking if she indeed was being asked rather than subliminally ordering. ((OMG i am soooooo sorry!!!!! eek I never saw your post so i was waiting for you! I'm honestly soooo sorry!)) Violet shook her head. "I can't, at least...not on their own ground. Most likely the light would blind me." she replied, as he'd left she'd let out a soft sigh, she'd forgotten how talking to other demons could be so stressful. Stretching out her huge dark wings she jumped from the roof of the building, falling into a steep glide before flying straight up into the sky to try and find some of the good on the earth.

Holly cocked her head at Dream curiously as she sampled her dessert. "Certainly, I can try to help you, but I don't know anything about memory loss."

Haucon smiled. "Yeah, just before you fell asleep. Her name's Kihaku. I don't know too much about her. Are you alright?" he asked seriously. "Here." he said turning the light off again. "Sorry about that, love..." he explained. "Kim chi is like pickled cabbage, but it's really spicy. I'll go grab you a plate alright?" he said and leaned down to kiss her forehead.
He stood up again. "Sorry about the room, I didn't realize I'd have company, so it's a bit of a mess..." he said apologetically as he left to join the others around the food.
"Leila's still a bit tired, so I'm going to get her a plate of food, and she'll eat in there." Haucon said explaining to the others. He began to pile food on a plate and pulled a heap of chopsticks and forks from a drawer in the counter. "Here guys." he said dumping them on the counter.

Dream looked at Haucon as he placed the food on the table. He smiled. "Thanks. I owe you for this." He grabbed a pair of chopstics - they seemed more suiting for the meal, and he could use them fairly well - and looked at the food choices. "You really though of everything, didn't you. Awesome." He stepped back, allowing others to get food, and so he could respond to Holly.
"Well, it's not so much memory loss that you might be able to help with. There's this pendant that she has that we think may help jog her memory, but we can't open it. It seems to be helt magically shut. You're the most adept here at recognizing magic, and I think it's a heat magic of some sort, so maybe you'd be able to figure it out."

Leila slowly lowered herself back to the mattress and whispered a 'thanks' as he closed the door. She draped her arm across her closed eyes, thinking again about the nightmare she just had. What if things had gone badly? What if the others.....? She squeezed her lids tightly, trying to force the images out of her head if everything hadn't happened as they did. Would she have died? Would Haucon be alone or move..on...? Would Liam have hurt the others? She quickly turned onto her side and slammed her fist against the ground, hating the thoughts she was having.
