It took a good minute for Adara to fully stop laughing, even when he kissed her. It was pretty obvious how ticklish she was now...
Adara let her eyes follow his gaze up towards where she had put the bottle and she was glad to see it still upright, "Youuuuu'rrrre meeeeeeeaaan."
Her words extended with the small fits of giggles that took over her as she curled up against him when he hugged her.

Alexei gladly allowed Adara to curl herself around him, still laughing.
"I am sorry. But I have proven sturdy our camp. This is good - I am being practical," he said with a smarmy grin, marveling at the ease with which they fit together in their embrace.

"You could have done that without tormenting me. Besides, shouldn't you have proven that before we climbed up here?" she asked teasingly, responding to his smarmy smile with a playful jab with her finger to his chest. "We're supposed to be celebrating me, not torturing me."
Adara could help but laugh. She wasn't used to celebrating her own acheivements, let alone whining about them. Whether it was fake or not. There was no one that she would have rather celebrated with either.
"How long until sunset, Mister I-can-live-in-the-forest?"

Alexei lifted his head to smirk down at his girl.
"Oh, you want to do that, eh? Alright. Let us take look."
He shifted so he could see the position of the sun in the sky, extricating his arm to hold up his hand to avoid blinding himself.
"So, judging by time of year, position of sun ..." Alexei said, looking as though he were calculating it out in his head, "about one hour, and maybe a half."

While Alexei pulled himself away to measure the sun's positions and things, Adara rolled to her side and grabbed the wine bottle. And while he was calculating, she wiggled the bottle from side to side and gathered there was about just over half the bottle left.
"Hour and a half... ok," she set the bottle back to the side, wanting to save the rest of it for the sunset. "We should do something until then, then we can toast to the sunset and drink the rest of that bottle of wine and then..."
Adara shrugged her shoulders at the end of her statement and grinned up at Alexei.
"I'm gonna hold you to that time frame, cause much longer than that and that wine will get warm and we really don't want that."

"Don't worry. I am only a little uncertain because of the different in location. From home, I could give you a down-to-minutes estimate."
He sat up and looked down at the woods below.
"Well, what do you want to do? Better think of something quick, because only thing I can think of is more tickles."
Alexei grinned mischievously and wiggled his fingers for emphasis.

"Nooooooo!" Adara immediately tensed and wormed away from him a bit, sitting herself up and laughing hysterically. "We should go down to the beach. It's not too far from here, but we have to go through the trees to get to it. I love being near the ocean."

Alexei grinned and relaxed his hands.
"Okay, I guess that is good too," he said, feigning disappointment. He sat up and checked the rope down.
"Be careful, I think that monsters come out near dusk."

She raised an eyebrow at Alexei that clearly warned him not to put his fingers near her in such a manner while he checked the rope.
"There's a few. Some of them aren't so bad, some of them are pretty nasty," Adara replied as she withdrew her pistol from her backpack. "That's why we come prepared."

Alexei nodded and strapped his gunblades to his waist in preparation for the trip to the shore. It was a shame that monsters were so plentiful that a walk to the beach could be life-threatening, but it was totally worth it.
"Very true. Ready to go?" he asked, grabbing the first pair of ascenders and releasing the catches, grinning as he dropped out of view.

He was so attractive.
Adara smirked as he flashed that gorgeous grin at her and zipped down the rope to the ground. She checked the pistol, making sure it was fully loaded and the safety was flicked on, before she stuck it in the back of her jeans. Prepared apparently meant forgetting her holster in the dorm.
She took hold of the ascenders and let herself come down to the ground, though slower than Alexei's descent. It still made her a little bit nervous. But, when her feet hit the ground, she stood tall (as tall as she could next to him being 5'6") and grinned up at him, "Let's go!"

Alexei took her hand in his and kissed it as he started towards the coast. The sun shone through the trees as it grew closer to dusk, sending shafts of light across their path from the west.
"Is beautiful here. I am glad to have you to share with."

"Me too. I'm really glad to have come out here, rather than staying in Galbadia. I saw what some of the people have been resorted to doing, and I don't like it," Adara slipped her fingers through Alexei's and held his hand loosely as she followed his lead. "That President Deling is polluting everything."
Her past's mindset seeped through just a little in the tone she used in her last statement. She and her friends in Deling had been very opposed to some of the things that the corrupt president was doing in the world, and had voiced their opinions whenever possible. The tiny bit of vemon that tipped her words just then was just a fraction of what she had used to infuse.
But, the moment lasted only seconds before her cheerful smile returned and she walked a bit closer to him, enjoying being able to brush against his arm every coupld of steps.
"What was it like at Galbadia Garden?" Adara looked up at him curiously.

Alexei rolled his eyes with a wry grin at the mention of Galbadia Garden.
"Ugh, there is good reason I came to Balamb. The Instructors were pushy and intolerant. I come from family learning, this was more like military. I do not like military. SeeDs take the jobs that are right, military has to do whatever the government says. In Galbadia, this is not always good."
He shrugged and swung his hand in the rhythm of their movement so that their arms were gently rocking back and forth as they walked.

Adara smiled softly at the steady motion of their hands moving back and forth with the pace of their walk. It was one of those simple things that she always imagined couples doing, and it made her smile to be doing coupley type things with him.
Despite being a bit of a tomboy most of the time, Adara still loved girly things occasionally. Alexei brought it out in her, which she believed to be a good thing.
"It's hardly ever good there. Did I tell you that I came across an old friend of mine when I was on my mission? He had joined with the military after my group all went separate ways so that he could bring home a cheque for his family, and the government had them out in that place doing all those awful things. He could do anything against it in fear of the consequences and he needed the money," she looked at her feet for a moment, a look of sadness in her eyes. "He might be in trouble now and I'm worried about him."
