((Volume control, it's all about volume control. If I had a temporary hearing loss I'd be rather self conscious about saying stuff, and would prefer a pad of paper. ))

Minerva laughed. "And what would you like to blow up?"

Random_Monster_Attack Verve smiled. "Whatever you want." Minerva thought about it for a moment. "There's a general who tried to snap my bra strap. Would you care to help me blow up his personal vehicle?"

A.C. had overheard a lot of this conversation with a gleeful smile. She had tried to keep her love of explosions a secret from people--it was considered a sign of an unstable mind--but she couldn't help what she found fun, could she? She didn't remember it, but she and her brothers had always blown up the stupidest toys they were given for Christmas. Like that Ken doll with the squishy rubber head... ninja ((No! I never did that for real! Honest! ...okay, dis honest. Kind of. I didn't actually light the firecrackers... I just pulled his head on and off so we could get them in. ninja ))
"So, ah, can I bring popcorn?" She asked brightly from around the corner. "And watch? All these explosions lately, and I've never been in a good position to see one. Just terrible."

"I'd love to." His eyes flipping to green, he looked over the contents of the new girls pockets. "S'up to her?" He gestured over to Min.

Minerva chuckled, "no good fireworks display is without a nice sized audience. Sure you can come along." She kicked back her chair and stood up, "I just have to grab some things from the supply closet and figure out how to blow up a vehicle in the base garage without damaging too many of the others."

((Arch would like to mention that he has had absolutely no chance to tell her about the prophecy, that she is acting upon future-information. That is all))
The Chief smiled, glancing at the lollipop on the ground. "I think I'll... oops." He remembered the pad, writing down "I think I'll pass. Doing fine, given the move and all." He sat down on a chair near the bed, waiting a response.

((Ruby would like to mention that she can't possibly know that as they haven't interacted with anything besides watching krovh blow up. And that is all.))
Ruby sat back on the bed watching Arch sleep for a moment. It slowly occurred to her that neither of them were sharing any more. He had been keeping quiet of his worries for the last few months. And she hadn't said a thing about Ora, about anything that had happened to her. A bitter part of her argued that he hadn't even cared to ask, but she quieted it down, she didn't know if she would have shared anyway. They were growing apart.
Ruby quietly stood up, deciding to find her second best hiding place, a place where there was sure to be no refugees. She left the bus, a faint scent of strawberries the only evidence she had been there at all, and even that was swiftly fading.

Arch the Angel ((Arch would like to mention that he has had absolutely no chance to tell her about the prophecy, that she is acting upon future-information. He sat down on a chair near the bed, waiting a response. "Still trying to do the job of a police chief?" Sahira wrote down on her paper. Then added some swirly sketches of the nurse getting attacked by a rabid dog.

Sean Hopped off the hummer he was on, one of the few that made it out of Krovh before Locke went postal. He looked around for Minerva, just fleetingly, before deciding to get dressed in more comfortable attire and actively look for her.
Several minutes later, he emerged from the barracks, where the officers had provided a room for himself, as well as rooms for anyone having survived Krovh and need a place to stay. A few of his posessions remained at the War Shelter, including some of his civie clothing, which he now wore, and headed back out onto the Phoenix streets looking for Minerva.

Minerva wasn't actually on the streets of Phoenix, but actively searching through the supply closet at the AA base, collecting random things that had warnings of either "Flammable" or "Contents may explode under pressure." She passed the items over to Verve and AC whenever she found them. Cheerfully whistling a Beatles song as she worked.

Aaron was still running around the base when he heard his mother calling him from outside. He tentatively approached her, wary if it was a trap to grab him and drag him to Mississippi.
"Come here, sugar," Ruby pulled back the hood of her cloak and smiled at him.
She seemed to be in a rather cheerful mood, Aaron noted, so he walked over. "I ain't goin' to Mississippi." He warned her.
Ruby laughed, throwing her head back, her white teeth flashing. "Sug, we ain't goin' to Mississippi, you don't have to be worryin' yourself. In fact, we're gonna be doin' somethin much much more fun. We're gonna throw a party, a big party, with everyone invited." As he got closer Ruby clasped her hand over his, holding it tight. "An' we'll invite folks from both sides of the war, an' hopefully it'll be the end of it. We need peace, don't you think, Aaron?"
Aaron gave a slight nod.
"Now come on, sugar, I need your help pickin' out the balloons an' streamers. An' we'll be gettin' a really big cake too! An' Fireworks!" Ruby said, rather enthused.
Aaron's grin widened as they left the base.

Sahira checked her watch, and the corner of her lip twitched, the sun was down, things were probably cooled off, and it was time to get back. She stretched her neck to make sure the horrid nurse was busy, and then quickly pulled the IV needle out of her arm. The doctors would b***h at her, and her hearing loss was going to be a pain, but she had to get back and deal with the mess they left.
Sahira gave the chief a quick wave, grabbed her pencil and paper, then opened a portal in the hospital room. She stepped through quickly.

The Chief had been snoozing, his chin resting against his chest when Sahira started to move. His eyes slowly opened, followed by a yawn, when he saw the portal open. "Ra, what's?" He mumbled as she stepped through it. "Wait!" He yelled, diving for the portal, it closing just inches too soon, leaving him flat on the ground, cursing silently.
