Seeing his nominal success, Shin attempts yet again.
"Thats more like it, I think we're begining to reach an understanding wind force. Lets try again!"
He spreads his arms, palms up to gather the swirling wind's energy. After a moment of dead silence, he thrusts his hands forward into a rather large group of trees.

*Kage maintains his focus, concentrating air blasts into his katana, dashing about in a circle at blurring speed and unleashing his attacks to make it seem as if multiple Kages were striking from all directions at each other. He could feel Shin's constant attempts to focus wind. It made him proud and disheartened at the same. Would there be anyone to challenge Shin if he continued training at this rate?*

Kyo sat on a rock, using a long stick as an oar as he paddled the odd makeshit boat to the meadow. He brought his ride to a stop as he neared Kage. "Yo.... old man!"

So Shin has been getting quite a bit of training in. However, I've known you to be a bit of a natural, Kyo, so if you're up to it we should give these powers a real test in a bit of a mystical spar. What do you guys say?

alright here's the deal. This meadow is not made for the forces you can wield. There's a portal over there *Kage turns and points towards a large apparatus that seems like a stairway into a large metallic ring, much like a stargate* It leads to a sort of limbo dimension where all magic can thrive. The key is you must make your environment using your powers. There are no ready-made rocks, or even a current of air. You will form your landscape and your power determines what is there for your disposal. This match will be a practice run. Make sure you are aware of the moves you can do and their respective penalties. Customary to a mage battle is that you both gain 10HP for the fight, as you'll see later on things can end quick.
Enter the portal when you are ready. Kyo will start things off. Remember only magic moves in this combat.
