"This is a nice new ability... How did we get it?" Tsunami inquired. "We have no clue! And neither does anyone else who can apparently. "Yeah what Sunfire said. Anyway how would you guys like to go to the next city and get a Gym Badge?" Mag asked his team. "What type of enemy will we encounter?" "And will it have a lot of light?" Shadow asked and turned as his sister gave him a look. "What? I don't like really bright places."
"Well... I think the next gym is Misty's so... It is a water type arena!" Mag stated." "Ah good, a chance to commune with my fellow water types..." Tsunami happily cooed. "OH NO! NOT WATER POKEMON!!! They are really annoying... always shooting you with jets of water and swimming and putting out fires..." Sunfire stated with a shudder.

"Oh you wish. Shino schooled you in our last battle and he can do it again." Z said laughing at her insult even though it made him furious. "Oh you must have amnesia becasue that match was a tie!" Lyn said pretending to be amused as well. "Oh yeah well-" Z began to say before he was lifted into the air by his shirt. "Both of you stop it. Tis is not very championly material and I only breed pokemon for champions." Jin said as he liftedd both lyn and Z to his eye level which was actually quite high. "We're sorry." Z and Lyn said fake apologetically. "Anyway what are we gonna do here? I say we just leave on the ferry and get there early." Z said getting bored of Slateport already. "Well I guess we should take Shino and Amy to the pokemon center. We got off the train before they could treat them." Lyn said looking down at the pokeball in her hand. "You're right." Z said taking Shino's pokeball off of his belt and looking down at it. "See you later Mom and Dad." Z and Lyn said hugging their parents and running of to the pokemon center. "Kids." Z's mom said rolling her eyes.

"Well if you're sure," Jaeshan said, returning her smile. "I won't be more than an hour, but of course you're more than welcome to come with me." He glanced down at his watch, and then looked around. "But either way, we should get a move on. I don't want to keep Keegan waiting any longer than possible. I already owe him big time for this."

When Z and Lyn reached the pokemon center they gave nurse joy their pokeballs. Z sat down on one of the benches in the rooma and tapped his feet anxiously. He hated being in one place for to long and just sitting there waiting for Shino was killing him. Z decided to plan out his contest appeals as he waited. 'For my solo apeal I guess I will have Shino use silver wind since he is getting better at it and then maybe have him fly on it with his harden like he did before. But that will tire him out for the battle appeals. I guess I will have to get another pokemon to help Shino out with the battles.' Z thought to himself with a sigh. 'I guess an electric type would be best so that it can help me with Misty later but how am I going to find an electric type in Cerulean the city of water?' Z wondered trying to remember some good electric pokemon that he could find near there. 'Viridian forest is not to far away and if I am lucky I can find a Pikachu there but I don't know if I will have time to go there, find a pikachu train it for the contest and the gym battle and then get back.' Z thought growling slightly to himsef in frustration.

Kilik stood directly across from the large man outside the Gym. In his pose, he looked as if he were ready to draw a gun and duel with him. He pulled a Rocket ball from his pocket. He enlarged it by pressing the button and then spun it around on his finger before catching it in his fist. "All righty. One Pokemon apiece. If I lose, I leave the Gym and never ask for a rematch," Kilik explained, "but if you lose, I go directly to Surge, no questions asked." He held the Rocket ball outward so that the thug could view the large red "R" in plain view. "Agreed?"
"Sure thing, Meat," he lifted a red and white Pokeball. He somewhat cowered at the Rocket ball. "Let's get started! Electrode, let's show him how we do things in Vermillion Gym!" he shouted. He tossed the ball into the air. From the light materialized another ball. It was very large and looked like an up-turned Pokeball. It had lines for eyes and a smirk played on its lips.
"Poppite...let's play!" Kilik barked, tossing the black and white ball upwards. Five pieces came from the light and fell to the ground with a thud. Slowly, they formed into the biological experiment known as Poppite. This is your last battle before I send you home...You can't battle Surge, but you're more than enough for this guy.. "Poppite! Start this battle with a Faint Attack!" In response, the Pokemon disappeared into the winds. Its hands reappeared on the sides of Electrode, giving it a few swift slaps. Then the feet materalized into view and began kicking the Electric orb. Poppite's actual body appeared in the sky and fell with a thud onto Electrode.

Practically pacing inside the Pokemon Center, Kasiya kept glancing up at the clock, then back again to the doors to the treatment room where her Pokemon were being healed. She turned on her heel and sighed, staring at the floor impatiently. A bell-tone chimed, and Kasiya jerked her head up as the sound.
"Somebody missed you," a very chipper Nurse Joy said as she stepped out to greet the trainers, holding a tray of Pokeballs. From behind her came a blur of light brown. A Raichu bolted across the floor and leaped into her trainer's awaiting arms.
"Shocker! I'm so glad you're alright!" Kasiya giggled, nuzzling the soft mouselike Pokemon affectionately.
"Everyone's fully healed and raring to go," the nurse said, as she handed out the remaining Pokeballs, including Zyphyr's to Mitsu. Kasiya gratefully clipped each of her party members into their respective places, already feeling whole again.
"Thanks so much," Kasiya grinned as Shocker climbed up into her favourite place on Kasiya's shoulder, holding onto her head with her long tail flowing freely behind them. She turned to Mitsu, about to ask what they'd do next when her PokeNav began to ring sharply. Startled, Kasiya pulled it out of her pocket and answered it. "Hello?"

'What will I do once I get Shino back from Nurse joy anyway?' Z thought to himself trying to pass time while Shino heals. "I guess that just going straight to the ferry would be the best idea although we don't really need to leave for a little while but I really want to get a move on so that I can find an electric type in cerulean so I can spend some time training it. I guess it would be best to leave early so that we can take our time as we travel to Cerulean being that it is pretty far.' Z thought leaning back into his seat. 'So it is decided. As soon as Shino heals I will leave on the next ferry to Vermillion city then I can travel through Saffron and finnaly to Cerulean.' Z thought seriously. He looked over to Lyn who was sittin next to him and wondered if she would come with him or if he even wanted her to come with him. 'I guess it would be okay for her to come since we are both going to Cerulean for the pokemon contest but if she dissagrees with my decision to leave early I will not let her change my mind.' Z thought nodding. "I have decided that I am leaving for Vermillion as soon as Shino heals so I can have some time to train in Cerulean. You are welcome to join me." Z said looking at his twin sister seriously. "Fine. Me and Amy will accompany you." She said without looking at him.

Maven smiled at the festivities and decided it was time to do more training. She jumped up on Phyra and rode out of Saffron towards Celadon standing just outside of Saffron she jumped off of Phyra and stood a few feet away from her.
"Alright girl, you showed off a bit time to get to work." Maven smiled and took her command stance having one foot slightly ahead of the other and set her face to her stubborn mode.
"Jump Kick!" Maven commanded as Phyra leapt into the air landing on her two front hooves and kicking hard with her back letting her tail become ablaze with live fire.
"Beautiful! Okay Flame Twirl!" Maven yelled her praise
Phyra neighed and did the basic jump kick move in circles. The two went like this each time Maven would praise her Pokémon

Mitsu galdly accepted the Pokeball, hoping that Zyphyr would be all right. She clipped the Greatball onto her belt that hung almost loosely around her waist. It appeared that Kasiya was about to say something when all of a sudden her Pokenav gave a sharp ring. Mitsu remained quiet, just in case it would happen to be an important call.

"All right Bro. Let's get this little game over with. Use another Psychic," Risa said calmly, almost as if she were bored with the current battle. The Slowbro's eyes turned a faint light blue and soon the Arbok was surrounded in the same colored aura. It was lifted from the ground and sent flying into the Rocket. The two quickly scrambling away before the police were called.

"Electrode! Shock Wave!" The ball Pokemon began to glow with a yellow light and fired three bolts of lightning from its body. Each bolt hit its target. The thug laughed with pleasure. "A move that never misses its target!"
Kilik shrugged it off. Poppite took the attack to its hands and feet, but its body remained unharmed. The detached pieces of the Pokemon hovered back into place as it floated lazily over to a spot close to Kilik. "Poppite, let's hit Electrode with Psychic!" Its hands began to glow blue along with Electrode. It slowly began to lift the Electric type up into the air.
Electrode looked around frantically and shut its eyes. "Electrode! Zap it with Thunderbolt!" The Pokemon focused and tried its best to fire lightning bolts from the sky. But nothing was happening. It let go of its focus and let out a sigh. "Ele...Electrode..." it said mechanically.
Poppite let its own focus go and dropped Electrode like a ton of lead. The Electric type hit the ground with a loud thud! and the two trainers waited for the dust to clear before issuing another command.

"Don't worry Sunfire I won't have to use you in that gym. The others can probably handle it themselves." "Oh no you don't! I won't miss a chance to take one down. But I would like to be able to use Protect like Sciz... that move was sweet!" Sunfire said looking at the pokemon.
Maurice and Sciz were over at the computer. He seemed to be talking to Nurse Joy over the video phone. It seemed like he was just checking in on them.

Mag turned back to his pokemon. "Yeah Protect could be a sweet move to get." The pokemon all nodded in agreement. "Hey Mag! It looks like there is some trouble in Mt. Moon." Maurcie said coming over to the group. "Apparently some shady characters have been reported there and are causing some trouble according to reports from trainers."
"I want you to go and investigate. You've been here too long anyway. So get a move on!" Maurcie said shooing the group to the door. "I'm sure you don't want to waste your time here when there are badges to get and pokemon to capture. And I have more trainers to enlighten!"
"Uh... Thanks for your help. I guess I'll see you around." Mag said shaking Maurices hand. "Oh and here is my Pokenav number," Maurice said grabbing Mag's Nav and putting it in.

"Gah! Kasiya! Thank goodness! You've gotta take it back! Please!" a desperate voice came over the phone.
Kasiya had to think for a moment before she realized who it was. "Professor Oak?" she asked, blinking. "What's wrong? What's going on?"
"That Pokemon you just sent - it's a brute! It's attacking all the other Pokemon! And me! Please! Help us! Take it back!"
"Casimir? He's what? Oh no!" Kasiya sighed, shaking her head. Damnit, she thought angrily as she stalked over to the computer, quickly entering her information and waited for the log-in screen to clear. "Hang on Professor, I'm almost there," she sighed, holding her head in one hand. Shocker gave her trainer a quizzical look from her perch, but Kasiya didn't say anything. "Send him over, Professor," Kasiya nodded, placing the white and red Premier Ball on the tray. "I'll be sending someone a little less... violent. Please treat Allegra well, okay?" she said.
"Fine, fine," Oak said, his voice rushed. Seconds later the transfer happened, and Kasiya stared grimly at the black and yellow ball resting on the slot before her.
"Oh, she's adorable," Oak sighed, sounding rather relieved. "Much better."
"Professor, can I ask a favor?" Kasiya asked, still staring at the Ultra ball.
"Yes?"
"I'd like to make another switch while I'm here. I'm going to be heading back to Kanto to challenge Koga, and I want my strongest team. Could you please send Seto?"
"Back to Kanto? Where are you now? And yes, it's fine. Who are you sending in return?"
"I'm in Lavaridge Town in Hoenn. The hotsprings are very nice. Oh, I'm sending Digger..." She finally took Casimir's Ultra Ball from the tray, replacing it with Digger's. "Ready when you are."
"Farewell, Seto. See you again sometime!" she heard Oak say as he most likely recalled the Persian into his Pokeball, and began to initiate the transfer. "Digger's here, safe and sound," the Professor said. "Anything else?"
"Nah, that's fine," Kasiya said, arranging her Pokeballs on her belt to her liking. "I've missed Seto," she added. "Thanks, Professor."
"No, thank you," Oak blurted, then chuckled. "I'm sorry, Kassie. With training, he should come around. He's going to be one heck of a tough Pokemon."
"I know, he took out Digger, Ariel and Shocker before we were able to capture him." She chose to leave out the part where the Absol attacked her, and would have done a lot more damage had Fang not saved the day. "The next time you see him, he'll know better than to attack without reason. I hope," she added.
The two exchanged goodbyes, and Kasiya clicked off her PokeNav, putting it into the large right front pocket of her green vest and turning back to Mitsu. "Sorry," she laughed, scratching her head.
