Tori flew over the city and then landed near a trainer who seemed to be heading towards Slateport. Julian quickly got off of the bird's back and then looked at the trainer apologetically. "Sorry if Tori ruffled you or anything. Hope your travels go well." He told the boy with a smile before turning to Tori. "Thank you for bringing me here. Now time for a little break." He told her with a quick pat on the head before running towards the exit of the city that would lead Julian to the desert.

Isamu and his pokemon entered mauville and walked around a bit. Isamu hit the pokemon center first and made sure his pokemon were ok, and arranged for the promised grooming for Vulpix. When nurse joy returned his pokemon, he decided to let them out and took Vulpix for her bath. Being a fire type, she didn't mind a bath, but she still disliked battling water types. Grovyle decided to hang out with the other pokemon. Kingler was showing off it's new evolution. Bagon stood in a corner by itself. Metang was floating around with Togekiss. (And if you thought my vicegrip was strong before, now it is even stronger!) he exclaimed. "Grovyle Gro." (That just comes with evolving. When I evolved from Treecko, I felt a lot stronger, and I am.) she said. "Kiin!" (Lucky for you, you can evolve again, but I'm going to stay like this. Not that I have a problem with it.) he replied. (linoone will appear later) Isamu finished washing Vulpix and dryed her off. He found a brush and began to brush her fur. she sat there peacefully, enjoying the grooming. As Isamu brushed her, he noticed that her fur was almost sparkling. Isamu admired the beautiful fur and smiled. He know knew why Gin loved his fur so much. He wondered if Vulpix would be as beautiful when she evolved. He saw her look up at him and he knew. She would be even more beautiful.
