I see.
Thank you, for that information. Is that in the Horus Heresy book?

And would the Word Bearers have Traitor guard helping them?
Or do they not accept normal humans who worship the same gods?

I think that the Word Bearers would have anyone who is fanatic enough. Lost and the Damned gave themselves to Chaos and need a leader. I don't see why not. Just when you model them, make them look more zealous than normal. Do a couple of compass stars on their foreheads and chests and stuff.

And my source 9/10 times is Wikipedia. It's a rather good site. Fail that, I run about on Lexicanium, which I think is a division of Wiki, but not all of it's in English. Just fumble your way around and you can find a lot.
The old armours and stuff in the "IF THE EMPEROR WORE POWER ARMOUR" thread are from the German Lexi.

Pretty much, anybody in the LaTD would follow a Traitor Marine, so you could use Iron Warriors if you felt so inclined, or hell, Khrone Marines

I find Wikipedia is awsome for that

CriticalHit was a good source of fluff until GW's legal department told them to remove it.

So after devising the idea for my Word Bearer killteam, I've been struck with all sorts of crazy ideas for adapting the otherwise sweet 'Hunter models into equally fanatical chaos devotees.

Corrupted Seraphim models for Raptors, Penitent Engines for Traitor Sentinel units, an SoB Exorcist as appropriate transport, arco-flagellants as... er... anything, mutants, maybe? I'd do Sisters Repentia as Daemonettes if it weren't for the summoning issue.

Grr, I don't have money for this. twisted

EDIT: Oh, and of course actual Inquisitor models for all Aspiring Champions.

Sounds good. Any conversions in mind for an Apostle with accursed crozius ?

And would all the extra zealous worshipping mutat the Traitor Guard alot? Because my Guard at rat men. Sort of like Skaven. I started on that long before I started using the Word Bearers, and I haven't painted them yet. Would the Word Bearers see the mutation as something that makes them undesirable, or as being closer to the Dark Gods?

They would see it as a blessing in most cases. it would have to be pretty negative for them to view it as a punishment. Though not the same legion it states that the Black legion views all mutation as a source of pride, much like possession.

where are the terminator squads gonk

is it possible to give a greater deamon a better then 4+ armour save,

I'm giving a deamon a kaigun can I give him the dark sword also, and what happens to his close combat attack's if I don't give him a close combat weapon.

The Bloodthirster has 2 different saves, so I guess that counts.

You upgrade your chosen to terminators. Read the elite entries.
