(Just how small is the circle?)
Instead of trying to avert the fall and falling into the blade, Ordo performed the opposite and rolled with it, increasing his velocity, and rolling past the elder man and his weapon, grabbing his knife when he reached it, and jumped back up into a defensive position, now facing the man's back.

((Big enough for us to beat the snot out of each other in.)) Mandalore spun on Ordo and snapped up his left gauntlet, sending a gout of flaming liquid at Ordo. "Burn, Arutii." Mandalore stated.

Ordo dodged again, this time not as fortunate as before. His damaged arm was hit by the hot fumes, but his reserved heat shield shirked off most of the damage and radiation. He kept clear of the blast until the man either ran out of fuel, or changed his attack.

ElladanKenet Ordo dodged again, this time not as fortunate as before. His damaged arm was hit by the hot fumes, but his reserved heat shield shirked off most of the damage and radiation. He kept clear of the blast until the man either ran out of fuel, or changed his attack. Mandalore snapped up his right gauntlet, locking on with his helmet's HUD and shooting a fibrecord whip at Ordo's legs. "Get back here boy. I'm not done with you yet." Mandalore told him.

With the Star of Kalustha drifting in space around Ansion, Yolee was testing Vera's capabilities to see how far along she was on her journey to knighthood.
"Good, good," she muttered, "I see Kova Guhn trained you well. Indeed, you need only to complete one more trial, and you shall be a Knight. As a master, I have the authority to grant you such a title in times such as these, but for you to be an official Knight, you must be approved the the Council."
Vera nodded, perspiration dripping down her face as she calmed her body and relaxed after channeling a great amount of force energy. "What is my next trial, Master?"
Yolee looked down at the floor. "For a day or so, it will have to wait. Ultimately, I seek a certain... woman. I heard rumors about her before the war, and got a lead on Ylesia. Of course, Ylesia was also where we got our first obstacle." She gestured in the direction of the cockpit, implying that she was referring to the Engineer.
"What do you mean?" Vera sat down on the floor facing Yolee, now so composed one could never tell she had been pushing her mind and body to their limits only minutes before.
"He afforded us his services. As promised, he installed the dovin basal and integrated it with our ship. And also as promised, we were able to pass several blockades because of it. However, there was a condition. If we left without him, the dovin basal would go out of control and swollow our ship in agravetic anomoly."
Vera frowned slightly. "Why?"
"Because he wants to use us for his own purposes. He promises that, if we help him, he will disable the biological device that controls the basal, and redirect control to the ship. Or so he says."
Vera nodded thoughtfully. "What does he want with us?"
"He hasn't informed me yet. But supposedly, we will find out soon."

Johnny Malone "What that b*****d got was too good for him, I wouldn't have been so kind to just simply kill him." Iust comments. "We're going to his office, correct?" he continues as he looks at the map. "According to the Jedi Code, one would say that such an action was of the dark side," Iria began. "Still, one could say that justice was served." She then nodded. "Yes, to his office. I feel as though I need to be there," With that, she then led the way there.
Eventually, the duo arrived at a blast door, with the faded stencil reading Grand Moff T. Sarton. "This is the place," Iria declared, placing her hand on the scanner, and the door opened with creaks and groans.
And, there it was. The spectral image of a scene which had played out in her darkest nightmares.
Iria forced herself to watch the scene, as a spectral Sarton fell to the ground, his last screams drowned in fire.
And, then, the vision of horror subsided, revealing that which was never seen previously.
A disembodied voice then reached Iria's ears. Look, said a voice that was hers, but not hers.
A whimpering young boy was in a corner. "No! Go away!" he cried out in terror, scrambling to get away from Mordranna.
"Relax, young one," Mordranna gently said to the boy, holding out her gauntleted hand.
"B-but ... don't you work for him?"
"No. Not anymore," Mordranna said, casting her gaze on Sarton's still smouldering corpse.
"The bad man is gone, and you don't work for him anymore?"
"That is correct. He won't hurt you, or anyone else, ever again," she solemnly said. "Now, let's get out of here. I'm with some nice people called the New Republic. They'll make sure you get home,"
Iria then nodded solemnly at the scene that only she could see. "So, that's what really happened that day," she said, looking down to the blaster burnt skeleton of Sarton, the remnant's of the corrupt moff's uniform also bearing evidence of blaster burns. She then looked to Iust, and explained what she saw.

A klaxon sounded briefly, and Vera and Yolee hurried to the cockpit. "We've got company," Ebony's display read. Vera turned to look at the Engineer, who was closing his eyes tightly and preparing himself. He held out the control device and sliced his own arm open with a nail. The two force users fell to the deck, overcome by gravity. The Engineer winced as he was pulled into his chair, then he released the device. "You can imagine what will happen if you try something funny," he stowed it, "it's linked to my health, and so if anything happens, you and your ship will cease to exist."
The other vessel pulled up alongside them. Vera read his emotions from his face, without the aid of force abilities. "You want us to protect you. Don't you?"
He glared at her with vicious eyes. "That is correct, human. They will attempt to take me with them, or take my life here. If either happens, you die."
Yolee grinned. "All we have to do is kill some scarheads? Sounds good to me."
Vera put a restraining hand on her shoulder. "Yolee, we should seek a more peaceful solution."
The older woman looked at her incredulously. "Are you quite right in the head, child?"
Vera nodded. "Let us hear what they have to say. If we must defend ourselves, then so be it. But I will not allow wanton murder on my ship."
Yolee sniffed. "Very well then. Page."

Cale Darksun ENS. Edson Cale Sir? has the battle already begun or is there just a skirmish between you and Kenet? ((Not in the RP troopy!!! You dont ask that here!! and yes!!)) ((lmao. way to answer a 'this-or-that' question, Cale. xD )) The Yhuzaan Vong ship came alongside the Star and a long tube resembling an umbilical cord shot from it and attached itself to one of the shuttle's airlocks. Soon Yhuzaan Vong burst through and marched into the cockpit. Yolee and Vera stood between the raiding part and the Engineer and Ebony. "Give us the Engineer," snarled one in heavily accented basic, "And we shall let you live." "Why do you want him?" Vera asked patiently, with no hint of anything but harmless curiosity in her tone. "He is a traitor and a theif," responded the Vong evenly, "and deserves dishonorable death." "Is not a life spent living among humans and amidst technology torturous enough?" He regarded her hesitantly and glanced at the Engineer, who was quivering uncontrollably. "Why is he in your ship anyhow, human?" Yolee joined in, "We learned of his atrocities and took it upon ourselves to punish him." With that she lit her lightsaber, its white blade casting an eerie light over the stunned faces of the Yhuzaan Vong. The apparent leader looked slightly baffled but quickly recovered. "Jeedai," he muttered. Vera took advantage of his confusion to reach out with the force and attempt to affect his mind. There was no strong feeling of life where he stood, but what was more like a ghost, or a whisp of fog. She focused hard and did what she could. "Yes," he grinned, a mix of satisfaction and cruelty. "I will leave him to your... disposal." At his signal, he left with his comrades in tow. With a sickening sound, the tube was yanked off of the shuttle, leaving a heavy goo to seal the door behind it.

"I would learn of the Empire's situation, but from the perspective of an outsider." Iria said. "I must know for myself the sort of cause I wield this for," she said with a mild sigh, patting her lightsaber.
"Very good, my daughter - nin nin!" said an approving voice similar to Iria's. Before her appeared a figure akin to her's, clad in a flowing gothic dress, and playing a spectral piano.
In her more pleasant dreams, Iria recalled a soothing, gentle melody. "The music of my dreams!" she joyfully exclaimed.
"I wrote that. Do you like it - nin nin?" the spectral Mordranna gently queried her daughter.
"Yes. I normally hear it in my dreams. It's beautiful!" Iria replied. "Sorry," she sheepishly said to Iust. "Can you see her?"
(( g'd question. a ruling here? ))

Celestia Whitesword Freya waved to Bastet. "Like, nice to meet you!" she cheerily said to the woman. "A pleasure," Rusty added. "Why don't you all have a seat." Bastet said as she led the group into the main room. A protocal driod brought drinks for everyone. "Aurora's father said you wanted to talk to me about the Community. Let's hear it."

(( continuing on ^^ ))
Mordranna gave a slight chuckle. "He probably can not at this time,"
And then, Iria had a more serious question on her mind. "Is my sole value to Emperor Fel merely a weapon, or does he care about me as a person?"
"Ah yes. The question of whom one should be loyal to," Mordranna began. "Time, circumstance, and what one stands for. As you can see, I couldn't give my loyalty to a man such as Sarton,"
"But, I don't see how anyone could! Sarton was a horrible man who did terrible things to people," Iria protested.
"True," Mordranna conceded. "In my era, I was brought up to believe that Palpatine's Empire was good and just. And, that extended even to men like Sarton," she said. "Naturally, I wasn't prepared to accept that I could possibly be giving my services to the most foul and corrupt persons. Eventually, my eyes were opened by a man named Threken Starsinger, a man wrongfully imprisoned by Palpatine's Empire for daring to speak the truth."
"Also, in the battle that took place here, I aided the New Republic forces in freeing many prisoners, including Starsinger,"
"What did you do, then?" Iria asked, absorbed in her mother's story.
"I then left the Imperial service, and created the music you hear in your dreams. And then, when Master Skywalker established the Jedi Order, I learned of my Force sensitivity, and was welcomed into their ranks. I fought in battle against the forces of Drako the Insane, and afterwards, enjoyed a life of peace in which I didn't need to be a warrior."
Iria pondered what she had been told. "Can I too strive for a life of peace, where I no longer need to be a weapon or a warrior?"
"Of course," Mordranna replied. "If that is your fondest wish, then seek companions whom will accept you as a person. I know that you didn't wish to be born as a weapon. In a perfect universe, there would be no need of such."
"Should I never have been born, then?" Iria sadly queried.
"One should never feel that way of themselves," Mordranna said, shaking her spectral head. "Granted, it is unfortunate that Fel honestly felt the need to use my DNA to create a weapon. However, it brings me joy to know that I have a lovely daughter, and sadness that I can only see her like this. Iria, you are a good young lady, and I suspect that no matter where your path leads, you will make me proud. And, at last, I will truly be able to rest in peace,"
"One more thing: you should be able to download files of my records from Sarton's office, assuming that they are still intact,"
"Aren't you coming with us?" Iria pensively asked Mordranna.
"I cannot," Mordranna said. "My time is long past, and soon, I shall go to my rest, as soon as my work is done," And then, the spectral image of Mordranna Brunhildt faded out. "I may appear to you once more, but I can't guarantee much," said the now disembodied voice.
(( and, on another note, I see a lynching in Lanzer's future! stressed ))

"Thanks," Freya said, accepting the drink from the protocol droid. Turning her attention to Bastet, she began. "Gladly. Like, the deal is: we're in need of allies, if we're to take on the Empire. I think it's time to totally bring back the power where it belongs: to the people. My father, the late Veron Starsinger, believed this, and I'm here to continue his work."
"The situation is a mega-bummer, what with that Krayt on the throne." she added. And, I bet that kriffing mega-barve iced my old man! she also thought, but kept to herself, maintaining her calm. Like, how does Gunther do it, anyway?
"Thus far, in addition to Bespin, we have gained some support from Kashyyyk and Mon Cal, and we wish to petition the queen for support, as well," Freya added, taking another drink.
"However," Rusty chimed in, "with all due respect to Mistress Freya here, we need experienced leadership, and more information, in respect to allies."
"Like he says, I'd like to ask if you've heard any rumors and such on the situation at large," Freya said.
