EDIT EDIT!!: Xander's breathing slowed and he wrapped his arms around himself, in hopes to ward off the chill that seemed to n** at him.
He bit down on his lower lip as he stared at nothing, but his face in the direction of the sea.
It was strange, how such a word could affect him so, yet it made him angry because he didn't want to be affected.
Xander let out a slight mewl and sat on the sand.
He listened to Logan's words with half an ear, "I see."

He didn't look at Haruhi, but his expression changed immediately, as if it were never there.
His eyes turned somewhat cold as he stared off, "I'm fine."

Jaryn trembled softly looking over at both the canine demon, called Mutt then back at his beloved General, Kazahaya before backing away from both demons in an attempt to escape from the confusion and horror that had befallen him when he'd arrived whilst his soulless, grey-coloured eyes looked pleadingly at Tempest for answers. "I th-thought you and..I were going to...elope..Kazahaya...You pro-promised...," The young prince's voice quieted, his eyes falling away from everyone standing around him in fear of losing himself to the truth once more.

Tempest spun, reaching for Jaryn. "You told me to be with Caine, that I had to think of you as dead, Jaryn. I never wanted this boy, he's Logan's! You.. You left me to your father, I had to stay close to him, so I would be the one to be by Caine's side! That's what you told me to do! How do you think you gain the trust of the Great King?" He hugged his arms, dropping his head as he started to shift to wind, trying to hold onto his shape n spite of the turmoil. "You left me to your father," he whispered, wishing he could pull up that steel heartless barrier again that had kept him goinng for the past century.
Alistaire offered Xander the shell he'd been chewing on. "Zannew?"
Logan watched the feline quietly, rubbing Rhodes' back.

He looked at Alistaire kindly, "Hey there sweetheart."
He took the shell from Alistaire and examined it, "Thanks Ali."
But he handed it back to the child, "Why don't you hold onto it for me for a while?"
For some odd reason Xander just changed his whole demeanor when he's around the twins.

"... Because you're his roommate and his friend?" Jaysen ran his hand through his hair, confused by the way Tohei was acting. "Look, I don't own him. He spends time with who he wants to spend time with, and he wanted to spend time with you. What's wrong with that?"
