Actually, Raine had enough time to comprehend what he was doing, which enabled her to skid to an abrubt stop right out of range of him bowling her over. She had been keeping up with the shockwave, but she was slightly behind it as well, since it had taken off before she had. So in all reality, she would have a few seconds to stop, whihc she did.
So, basically he'd just roll to the side and out of the way of the shockwave, but her attack would remain effective. The stream of dark acid would still come towards him, aiming for his arm. Also, Raine had an advantage now that he was busy rollin' all over the place.
As soon as he rolled to the side, she thrust her sword forward towards him, aiming for anything it could pierce. It would be rather hard for him to dodge, considering that he was in an odd position and wouldn't have much time to react at all. Plus he'd have to worry about that dark acid that was still coming for him..

Well, it seems Fas had made a mistake. However, he could correct it thanks to yet another skill hehad developed after she defeated him.
Mana sense, the ability to detect...well, damn near everything from the motion of Mana. Fas was, after all, a Mana Master, and he was able to detect the slightest movements, sounds, magic and energy build up.
Therefore, he would "feel" he stop and stab toward him, as well as more of her acid.
He quickly changed his trajectory, managing the barely avoid the acid, for now.
However, the blade was a bit more direct, and it hit him on his left shoulder. He rolled forward before pushing out of it with his feet, into a flip that would carry him a good distance before landing, and he spun around, glancing over at his wound.
"...Excellent work, Raine..." He said, still staring at the wound. It wasn't very deep or long, but it was bleeding a large amount, the red liquid running down his sweaty arm and dripping for his hand.
"...I havn't bled since you last beat me, Raine..." He said, looking back up at her, his emerald green eyes locking with her stormy grey ones. It seemed insanity was present very heavily in both their eyes still.
He remained alert through the entire little talk, quite aware that her acid would be heading back for him now. His arm was injured, but not useless. On the contrary, the wound had done nothing but cause him pain and some nice bleeding, both of which he could stand for a long time.
His blood was forming a pool on the ground, and he stood there, considering what to do, waiting for her move...and he watched her, his green eyes slightly darker for some reason...

"Hmph... ... Your blood has changed colour."
Out of all the things to say, she merely chose to state the obvious. She easily recalled that last time she fought with him, his blood had been an indigo-silver colour.
Her eyes remained dull, locked with his. The excitement in them was gone, but only because she had started taking this battle a bit more seriously. She was still enjoying this battle greatly...
The acid flying through the air was making a turn and coming back towards him, which would probably reach him in about a second. It wasn't flying overly fast, it was really just more of an annoyance that would chase him around until it hit him. A distraction.
Raine began to walk towards Fas at a decent pace, although she wasn't running or anything. She merely walked with both her Wakizashis held in front of her, still dripping with the dark acid. She didn't fail to notice the slight colour difference in his eyes as well.
Suddenly, she ran towards him, once more with that amazing speed. Her left arm ascended into the air and slashed diagonally downwards with amazing speed once she had reached him. In doing so, this would slice him from his right shoulder to his left lower stomach. She made sure that she didn't dig too deep with the cut either, that way it would be a shallow cut and wouldn't kill him, if it even made contact. It was a simple attack, but it might work. Plus he would still have to worry about that acid.
((I apologize, but I am going to have to go away until wednesday or thursday. I may not be able to reply to anything until thursday, if that's alright...))

Fas let out a furious roar, a massive black aura blasting off his body and wrapping around him, his eyes a sudden flaring bright green, the only thing visable out of the darkness. This was the color of his Ki, and he was exceptionally effective with it nowadays. As soon as the acid touched it, the black aura would explode out toward it, pushing it away violently, possibly sending it splattering everywhere.
The black aura then raced toward her as she sped towards him, reaching for her with black tendrils.
Fas smirked behind his aura, barely visable past all of it. If she didn't get out of the way, it would reach her, and from there on it might not be pretty.
((Perfectly fine. I understand perfectly. Got some Christmas stuff to do, so it's cool by me. Have fun.))

Raine skidded to a stop when he esssploded with energy like that. She merely tilted her head to the side a bit and blinked in a curious fashion. Her grey eyes watched as the acid hit and exploded into little bits all over the Arena, in which they would dissolve into nothingness after that.
She also didn't fail to notice the tendrils of whatever comin' at her face. As they flew towards her, she simply stepped to the side casually, watching them as they flew past. Although, she was ready to move if they should turn around and fly at her again. She blinked curiously, and looked over to Fas.
"Hmmmmm? What's this? ... Your aura has completely shifted.."
Raine didn't charge him to attack, nor throw anything towards him. She waited for him to attack, as she wanted to learn more about what this ability was, and what weaknesses it posessed.

He chuckled slightly, as the aura faded away, his body returning to normal...well, as normal as he was.
He raised one hand, dropping both of his swords, which both vanished before they ever touched the ground, but did nothing with his raised hand...yet.
"You noticed. How observant of you." He said, smiling at her. "And now, allow me to end our little talk."
He snapped his fingers. The sound echoed oddly...
And with a tremendous boom, a incredibly powerful sound wave of the Bass variaty blasted through the air, vibrating the air molecules with such amazing power that the soundwave would hit her like a truck, let alone leave her ears ringing painfully.
Of course, Fas himself would find his ears ringing horridly, not as bad as hers would be, but still bad enough. Thankfully the sound was traveling away from him, so the force wouldn't hit him.
This was quite a good move, since it was a burst of heavy kinetic force traveling at the speed of sound...hell, it WAS sound.
In the mean time he slipped his hand behind himself, apparently doing something.

Raine stared at him with those unfeeling eyes, uncaring that his whole attitude had gotten slightly more arrogant. She didn't budge, but merely stood there watching to see what he would do. When he snapped his fingers, she still refused to budge, although she did when when she realized what the effects of him doing that were.
As soon as his fingers snapped, she immediately felt it, as well as heard it. Her ears did indeed begin to ring painfully, and the sound was like a truck hitting her. Her hands instinctively covered her ears, and she reacted as fast as she could; although it wasn't fast enough to stop it from hurting her ears. She immediately threw up a barrier of dark energy around herself, completely leaving no opening. This barrier would also muffle the sound enough that it wouldn't hurt her quite so bad, and the ringing in her ears would probably go away soon, hopefully.
She blinked and looked at him through the barrier, anger flashing in her eyes for a brief moment. She strongly thought that was a dirty trick he pulled. As she looked, she also didn't fail to notice that he was reaching behind him. Her guard was completely up, although her hearing was slightly impaired now. She merely waited to see what he would do. She didn't want to attack now that he was pulling a few new moves on her, considering that she wanted to observe what he was doing.
She kept the barrier up, just waiting...

Fas brought his hand out from behind him, flinging an orb of light energy at her, then running forward after it, focusing energy into his palms, which glowed ominiously.
Of course, if the light orb hit her dark energy barrier, it would explode in a raw energy explosion, which could do some serious damage when it was so close to her.
And Fas was fast approuching behind the orb, which was going just a little faster than him, and was about 10 feet ahead of him.

Raine blinked at the orb of light and simply snapped her finger, which would cause the wall of dark energy behind her to simply drop. But! She left the wall of dark energy in front of her, just released it on all other sides. Abrubtly, she simply began to skip backwards a bit, quite out of the ways of the explosion that would occur when the orb hit her dark wall. So, she'd be completely fine, and since he was running pretty dang close behind the orb, he'd probably get caught in a bit of the explosion when it happened.
That wasn't the end though!
Raine abrubtly lifted her right hand, pointing her pointin' finger at him. She muttered one word, which would activate a move that she had learned quite some time ago from a friend.
"Byakurai."
A small beam of light appeared at the tip of her finger and shot out towards him at an extremely fast rate of speed. If it should hit, the possible damages could be sever. This small beam of light had the ability to completely tear a hole through him wherever it may hit, and burn him pretty badly as well. Either way, he wouldn't have much time to react to it, plus he'd probably be focusing on not getting hit in the explosion of raw energy he had created.

Thankfully, Raine hadn't specified where she had shot her beam, so I'll assume it was toward my heart.
Fas, instead of being hit by the explosion, absorbed the raw energy into his body, the glow on his hands increasing visably.
As she fired her beam, Fas would be undistracted, and would spin counter-clockwise, the beam flying past him, moving forward at all times so he moved slightly diagonally toward her. Once he finished the fast spin, he bolted forward with sudden, suprising speed, being on her in under 2 seconds.
He firmly planted his right foot onto her left foot, placing his left foot behind her right foot at the same time, at the heel.
He then firmly slammed his palms into both of her upper arms, which would send a furious charge of electricity into her arms, which would cause a heavy numbness as well as make her unble to move her arms.
He then lifted one palm up, striking her hard into her stomach, discharging the electrical energy into her body, enough to cause unconciousness. If eaither of these attacks made her fall backward, her foot would remain flat on the ground as she fell, which would break her ankle.
Fas had done all this with incredible speed, and she would most likely be overwhelmed by the attack since she had been expecting the raw energy explosion to damage him, as well as expecting her beam of energy to stop him, or at least slow him down.
She had been wrong.

"Heh."
In fact, Raine hadn't expected him to get hit at all. She knew very well that a beam like that was easy enough to dodge. Which is why there was more to it than that.
As Fas was spinning in an attempt to get away from the beam, the beam wouldn't just fly right past him. It suddenly stopped, and he wouldn't even be finished turning yet. The beam suddenly errupted in a massive explosion, which would cover quite a good distance, although not a good enough distance to reach Raine. This explosion would be like a massive amount of C4 going off in his face, which might even kill him with him being so close and all. Even as he advanced towards her he would most likely still be caught in the explosion. And even so, if he didn't get caught Raine wasn't just going to do nothing while he advanced. He might be fast, but so was she.
In less than a second, a large wall of dark energy came up out of the ground in front of his path, which would definitely slow him down in getting to her. Even if he could bypass it, there would be a slight lag when he did it. Which, Raine probably could take advantage of.
But! She didn't.
Instead, she merely stood with her hands in her pockets, an expressionless pair of grey eyes staring at him.
Let him advance. He would find out just who he was dealing with when he did.

The explosion, obviously of light energy since it was light, was simply absorbed by Fas, the energy signature changing as soon as it entered his body. If it was of some non-elemental base, then a barrier of Mana would fly up, blocking the explosion from touching Fas.
Once it was absorbed/blocked, a barrier of Mana erected in front of Fas, and he continued his run at her, apparently meaning to slam the two barriers together and see which was stronger...
But he didn't.
In a split second, the normal mana barrier became a barrier of holy magic, the dark energy sheild being burned away with no lag at all.
And then, Fas' attack commenced, the holy energy feild dropping, the palm strikes attacking Raine now in the way described in past posts. And it was very doubtful that Raine would be able to react in time, since she had expected him to be slowed by most everything she had done, and none of it had slowed him down in the least.
And she now had to deal with Fas, up close, with the palm attacks.

((Bleh...the explosion was like a regular explosion, not light energy at all or anything...but, er...whatever.))
Raine may have expected him to slow down a bit, but that didn't mean she wasn't ready for his advance. After all, she had just been standing there the entire time, it's not like she was distracted or anything.
As he advanced towards her, she abrubtly skipped to her left, which would ensure that he wouldn't be able to get his legs behind her, nor palm strike her in the stomach. Her hands were still in her pockets.
She closed her eyes and simply spun around, performing a spin-kick to his right side with her right foot, which would hurt a lot with her heavy boots. If he should try anything, she'd simply hop back a few feet, out of range and counter accordingly.
Her entire stance was casual and relaxed, and her eyes remained closed.
