As for the gay republicans, I can see how political platform becomes more important than the aspect of sexual orientation or gender identity. Politics is the culmination of all those bits and pieces that make up people and put them in the public eye as positions, statements, bureaucracy.

However, their identity as gay republicans was what splintered them during the election. Some were adamantly opposed to re-electing Bush, while others just followed the general Republican platform of support for Bush. There are many GLBTs that see marriage as something outdated and purely heterosexual in meaning, some could care less about having that recognition. The only problem is that there are people that deserve that right, that are fighting for the ability to be properly recognized.

I'm sure as hell not going to let those people down.

Invisible Monsters: There's nothing special about being on his list. As the saying goes, keep your friends closer, your enemies closer. I think that pretty much makes my point on the subject.

Keithing: I didn't know the gold "used to poor in". Must've stopped before I joined. It's a pain in the a** to try and get gold together. The only reason I'm over 12K now, is because of items I've managed to sell in the Gaian Marketplace. That, and of course posting where ever I can.

I don't care. Q has no right to act out violently. It's very simple to just say "Please don't touch me" or "Don't touch me". Not punching. And, I also don't care if there was a huge fight about it. I wasn't there, and I didn't agree not to touch him. So, that's great that you and everyone else have that little deal, but I'm not a part of it. Q can learn not to react the way he does to me, especially if I haven't done anything warranting such violent reactions. That's even more simple ^_^.

BTW, Nadia: This isn't an attack on you. I know you're only trying to explain things, but, I really don't see how it matters to me.

No. I prefer the democrats over the republicans. To me, a gay republican literally is an oxymoron. Republicans are anti-gay. Therefore, any gays that consider themselves Republican, have issues. But that's just me. Doesn't mean I'm right or wrong.

Not to start WW4, but it would be super cool if you didn't do that thing you're doing. There's a slight over-reaction happening here and it's not only Q's fault. Please examine your actions and decide if they are truly warranted.

Look, I'm not gonna baby him, which is basically what the rest of you are doing. I respect a person's personal space, but not when I'm treated so disrespectfully. If he doesn't want me to touch him, then he can ask me in a better way. Because, the next time he reacts violently in any manner, on any subject, with me, I'll definitely push for his removal from the guild, because I, as a human being, don't have to tolerate people like that. But at the same time, I don't have to give up my membership to this guild. Q is about the only one here, whom I have a serious issue with. With JoVo, I may butt heads, but at least we can talk it out rationally. Q, on the other hand, made fun of me for apologizing to him for our last fight, saying he would never do something like that himself.

I'm sorry, but, I've made my attempts at being friends with him, and he's made it clear he doesn't want it. So, from here on out, if Q wants me to respect anything of his, he'll have to ask for it, or deal with the way I respond to him. And if it makes the rest of the guild uncomfortable, then the rest of the guild can decide whether I leave the guild or he does. But, I *will* file complaints with gaia, if these attacks continue.
