BOOM BOOM BOOM It was a question of winning, of course - at the same time it was also a question of seeing whether she will master the game. Once again Heidla came to the balloon booth. She was almost hating these balloons. She kept seeing them everywhere. She kept comparing monsters around her to balloons - and it was already on the point of being dangerous. The world was full of balloons - and she was keen on deflating them all. Of at least those popping up here.

BOOM BOOM BOOM It was getting a little better. Heidla tried to concentrate on her reflexes and react to every aura of pinkness she could spot. Good the colour wasn't favoured by spooky creatures, or else it could have resulted in a couple of monsters being hurt...

BOOM BOOM BOOM After all, she barely made it. Barely never implied good enough, but it still brought her a prize. Heidla signed. Despite rigorous everyday training, she still kept hitting the wrong balloons. Was it one of those games one was destined to fail? Did it imply mastery at all, or was it just sheer luck and good reflexes. The priestess pouted. If so, it was more of an animal idea of training....

"Oh! T-thank you!" It was that demon from before! And speaking of Mort... "Errr... He's around here somewhere I'm sure..." Distracted, even momentarily, she haphazardly threw her darts and then returned a smile to the demon.
"And what about your undead lovely?" Because calling them their 'undead significant other' might have been a bit presumptuous...
