Reactions from the community thus far describe it as a good final chapter in the Dawn of War saga more then once, could this be the final entry then.

thats what alot of people are suggesting, but they also say that someone else might pick up the series again.
That necron lord is a BEAST, hes crazy, he kills everything! so does the tau commander but thats to be expected cause he has huge guns. Hehe, one of the lord's sync kills is he levitates the guy off the ground (while he is screaming and squirming, blood everywhere of course) flips him over his head, slams him into the ground, then picks him up by the neck and chucks him the opposite direction. The other one is he picks up the guy, impales him on his staff, then wipes him on the ground... Hmm, hes got some neat abilities too, for instance this lightning typish thingy, he absorbes melee damage and when its charged you unlease this crazy lightning storm the kills almost every enemy in the vacinity (I did this in the middle of 5 khorne berserker squads, and they all got vaporized.)

I'm not sure if it would be the final chapter, given it's success and the always possible fact that GW pops out another army. However, it will probably be on hold as they delve into the Warhammer world for awhile.

Come Spring next year we'll get another under the rader announcement from Relic about what they're going to do for 2007.
Next to the two shiny new races and new units for each race, big changes have been made. Most high-end units are now limited to one or two, so no more Terminator or Russ rushes. Several items have also gone up in price, Bassies now cost 3 vehicle points and Leman Russ tanks a whopping 5. (Baneblade is still 3 though) This'll take some getting used to. The Necrons are prone to early game rushes, but once they have the Monolith on-line they are quite an effing pain in the arse. The Tau are the Tau, weak in a scrap but still cute with their flashy guns and toy suits. However, I expect a fix sometime soon to answer some of the smaller issues, such as the Vespid squad being created in one second and some minor animation glitches.
Other then that, it's a sleek product oozing once again with quality et al. With Dark Crusade out and on the streets I'll cast my eyes to Mark of Chaos, which is proving to be quite the quiet atom-bomb on the gaming scene.

Did anyone else notice that the Tau leader is the same Tau who was the main character in Firewarrior, Kais?

DarkElf27 Did anyone else notice that the Tau leader is the same Tau who was the main character in Firewarrior, Kais? Actually, it's just a name based around a common Tau word. Kais is the Tau word/term for "skillfull". Shas'o Kais and Shas'la Kais are not the same. Read the novel Firewarrior for all details on the Shas'la's fate. DarkElf27 Good news; Amazon was lying, it DOES work on Windows 2000. Installing now. You need an upgrade man, Microsoft has stopped support for W2000, meaning no more service packs and only updates for "critical problems".

I could rant about all the sh*t Microsoft wants to control on your computer, but that would go woefully off-topic.

DarkElf27 Good. That means they won't meddle. I could rant about all the sh*t Microsoft wants to control on your computer, but that would go woefully off-topic. Spare me the "MS is soo evil" bullshit. You are using Windows, so stfu. If you don't like it or feel that you are supporting an evil empire, go run OSX or a Linux window manager. Oh wait, that's right! Most programs wont run under those environs. So clam it. If you saw beyond your ideals and used Google or Wikipedia for a change you'd see how MS is faring in the world these days. A.R.G.U.S Mykal I'm suprised they didn't notice that in the debugging and testing.
-Mykal A lot goes under the radar as of late, mostly minor things. Maybe that this issue is not an issue at all, but intentional. I played against my brother in a Necrons (him!) versus Tau Empire (me!) bout. Needless to say, I got my a** kicked, but that's what you get for being a casual gamer. The game was short and in less then twenty minutes I kicked the bucket, but not before going all out on him with stealth suits and broadsides. Sadly, his lord and twin monolith attack left me pretty pained. The single player campaign is okay-ish and plenty of effort is put into it's design et al. At some points though it feels just like a skirmish though, only with special units slapped in for good measure. Right now I'm down to wiping out the Necrons and Chaos, when those mothers are gone I can safely say that the Imperial Guard did it's best.

I am actively NOT using Windows XP because of the changes they made in it. Are you done ranting, being adamantly disrespectful, and an overall jackass for no apparent reason? Good. Then STFU.
