☣Katherine Parker☣  Kat found herself a shady spot so she wouldn't have to use her umbrella. She lit herself a cigarette, still embarrassed about her encounter with Angela and Malade. Trying to set it aside, she decided to play her guitar. She was very proud of her instrument. She cleaned it every day and made sure it was in top shape and on perfect pitch and flawless tune. When she was done with her smoke, she noticed her surroundings and the people interacting with one another. Slowly, she put her pick to the strings and began to perform.. It was as if she was back in high school playing for her peers. All was well with her and her music.

((Hey! We had a time skip last night so we have to end this scene, but if you like, we can have Lara and Peter meet up again. She's the only person, so far, that he actually doesn't mind talking to. XD ))

 Persephone yawned and stretched. It was a nice day to spend half of indoors and asleep, but now she felt like exploring a little. Of course, before she could exit the school grounds she heard an interesting sound. Someone was playing music nearby. Curious, she followed the tune to a nearby tree where she found a girl she had never seen before smoking a cigarette playing the guitar, and singing, which actually was a pretty impressive thing to see happening all at once.
She plopped down cross legged a short distance away from the girl and just watched and listened, a small smile playing on her lips. "Bravo! Bravo! Amazing!" She said exuberantly as the girl finished playing. "That was real good! really! You should go try and play in a cafe or something, you'd probably get paid real well for it you know? I'm Persephone by the way, haven't seen you around here before, are you new? Odd time to be coming to a new school, in the middle of the summer and all. What's your name?"

☣Katherine Parker☣ Kat blushed at the girl's compliment. She was much more approachable than the other two. She put out her cigarette and smiled, " I enjoy people, just not unneeded publicity. Thank you though, you're a very sweet girl. My name is Katherine, but you can just call me Kat." She thought of what she said about being an odd time to start school. She pondered how she should respond, not wanting to tell her too much, " It's an education. There's never a bad time to get smarter," she said giggling. She looked at the girl up and down. She looked as chilled and laid back as Kat was on her good days, " May I ask for your name, my friendly little acquaintance?"

Persephone kept herself from bursting out laughing. That was probably the first time anyone had ever even thought of calling her "sweet". This girl was very interesting. She had an odd way of wording things, and... was calling Persephone some very intruiging things. Friendly little acquaintance? Who says that sort of thing? Or rather, where is someone from who says that sort of thing?
"Well, there might never be a bad time to get smarter, but during the summer holidays it's just a little harder to go to class." She shrugged. "Ah... The name's Persephone. Nice to meet you Kat." Strange, hadn't she just introduced herself? Maybe she hadn't heard her. "So... Where are you from Kat? You have a very odd way of wording things. Of course, I'm not one to talk. I went to school in scotland for a long time but I'm originally from America so I don't exactly talk normal either, but you probably already figured that one out huh?"

☣Katherine Parker☣ Kat had to think about her answer for a minute. She didn't want to lie to her, but too specific and she might be screwed, " I'm from Minnesota. Born and raised there. What part of America are you from, if you don't mind me asking?" Kat lit herself another cigarette and made sure to smoke in on the opposite end as to make sure Persephone didn't have to breathe in the smoke. After the incident when your fat head had a brain fart in the cafe, she didn't want another incident like that again.

Persephone raised an eyebrow. "Minnesota eh? Interesting..." It certainly had taken the girl a long time to come up with an answer to what seemed like, to Persephone, was such a simple question. Maybe the girl was a little slow? Either that or it was a lie, not that it really mattered. Persephone lied to people all the time.
"California originally." She gave Kat a friendly grin. "Southern, not Northern. There really is a big difference between the two. Course, I haven't been back in a while. School in Scotland and all that." She leaned forward, taking in the pristine condition of the girl's guitar. "So... you play any other instruments? My brother is always dabbling with random things like the ukelele and stuff. I bet you two'd get along real well..."

☣Katherine Parker☣ Kat could see that Persephone was questioning her response. This made her a wee bit nervous. Nevertheless, she shrugged it off and listened to her going on about her home. Kat's interests perked up when she mentioned California. She grinned as wide as a Cheshire cat, " I remember California. I've done a bit of traveling, myself." Kat noticed Persephone look at her guitar, " His name is Starsky. And I play bass and violin when I'm in the mood. I'd like to meet your brother, he seems like an eclectic fellow."

"Huh." Persephone pulled a face. Eclectic... seriously, she'd never heard anyone talk like this girl before. It wasn't really a problem of course, It just piqued her curiosity. "You name your instruments? I never really saw the point, but hey, I don't play anyways, so it's not like my opinion matters. I had a friend who named his base Marceline... Some cartoon reference I think. I'm sure you'll get to meet my brother eventually. He goes to this school too, and really, if you've met me, then you can't miss him. We're twins you see, so we kind of, just maybe, look a little related." She laughed, leaning back and putting her hands on the ground behind her for support. "So why Rosentale then? Seems like most of the people who go here are... "unique" in one way or another... Ran into a genie once... kinda a jerk, and I'm sure most of the other people I've met aren't even human... did you know about that? Sorry if you didn't, but you'd have found out eventually." She sat back up. "Apparently, Rosentale accepts all sorts of... things. I've seen some very strange stuff since I started going here...

I was born in 1952," she started to smile, her canines started growing, " I've noticed the diversity, don't worry. I myself have a few surprises. Why do you think I carry an umbrella with me?" She put out her cigarette and looked back at Persephone, " I feel like there is something you're not telling me."
