Fae looked around the room jumping with chaos. She chewed her upper lip as her mind geared. "Abby, I think now's the time to get your supplies out," she urged her on. She gave a reasurring smile to the apprehensive stare on Pueblo's face.
Pueblo's ears stood up a little in wonderment. Her green eyes sparkled and was soon going through her guardian's bag. She calmly drew out a pad of paper and coloring pencils, then walked over to the group of girl Aerandir. "Hi Handa," she greeted. With her best friend around, she wasn't as scared. Besides, it seemed the adults had everything under control. But next to Nehanda was a blue haired Aerandir girl she had never met before. Squinting her eyes a little in stranuous thought, the only thing blue that came to her mind was.. "Delta?" She hadn't seen her since she was still walking on four feet! "Would you guys lyke to draw with mi?" she smiled and sat down with her art supplies.
Fae smilied at the group- wait, was that Nehanda? That meant... "Foenix!" Fae cried and rushed beside her friend. She knelt down beside the chair she was in and looked up to the huminoid creature standing beside her. "How did she get hurt?" she asked, assuming this other female was with Foenix.
Another vibration shook beneath her feet, rattling her senses awake. Right. She turned around just as a large furry creature brushed past her face. She inhaled...it smelled of deep forest. Smiling somewhat, she watched Osero hurry out of the building. Her shoulders sunk, but quickly looked around to catch all the little Aerandir's attention. "Osu, Lucius, Keanu, Tsu," she all rounded to attention. "Pueblo has coloring pencils and paper if you would like to join her in drawing," she nodded and hearded them in the girl's direction.

Foenix smiled wobbily at Fae, while Kylara waved a hand in reassurance. "She's okay, really. She took a spill off the porch and clonked her head, that's all."
"Oh, is that what happened?" the woman murmured.
"Yes, and I'm sure Nehanda has a tea or tisane in that kit of hers for the headache." Kylara grinned over at Fae. "I remember you, but I don't think you've seen me since I attained humanoid form. I'm Kylara, the Jivvin."
Nehanda smiled to see Pueblo. "I's pretty glad to see you. This is kinda scary, yeah? And yup, this is Delta." As quakes shook the building, she looked around. Foenix was awake now, she noticed. "Uh, guys, I'll be wight back, kay?"
She ran over to her guardian, and threw her arms around her lap. "You's okay!" Looking up at Foenix's head, she reached up to gently pat the large lump forming. "Does it hurt?" she asked. "I've got stuff for that."
"In a little while, hun. I'm okay right now," Foenix reassured her girl. "Why don't you go back over there with your friends? It's not as scary when you've got other people to be scared with."
Since this seemed logical, Nehanda hugged Foenix again, and went over to rejoin hDelta and Pueblo. "Foenix fell and hit her head, but she's all right now," she told them.

Nyxa merely milled around. She wasn't a very motherly type, but as long as Luc was safe and sound that's all that she truly worried for.
Luc, in the meantime, was well aware that there were other Aerandir about, and from the looks of it there were a few that he'd yet to meet. Nudging Osu forward with his shoulder, a small hand lifted to point at the others now gathering around each other. "Yeh, ground's funny. But c'mon, lets go see what t'others is up to." He'd share Osu if he had to. Besides, the one lady said something about colors, what was that? And maybe they'd want to hear about his adventures of deer-slaughtering?! That'd be awesome!

"Ok!" Osu didn't need much encouragement to head over to the other Aerandir, especially since Luc was going too. Heading over to the little cluster of children, he stopped a few steps away. He didn't actually know who a lot of these children were. But meeting new people was always fun.
He waved cheerfully to them. "Hi! I'm Osu!"

Tsu couldn't help but fidget. He didn't want Keeo to go out there... and since his guardian had left the groud had started getting louder. But when Fae made the call for everyone to gather for colouring, the small Aerandir rose to the summons. Fae didn't seem to be worried, and she and Keeo were friends. So it must be okay. Mustn't it...? He then turned to the other Aerandir who were drifting to join the group, smiling greetings towards them.
Just, gah, colouring... Do colouring Tsu... colouring was good...

Kami watched with worry as a search team was formed. She wanted to volunteer, but she just couldn't leave Keanu alone for now. He still seemed petrified, and she held him close, rubbing his back. "Calm down, sweetheart...look, all your friends are here..." he said, turning to he could perhaps look at Osu and Luc and all the other aerandir children.
Keanu sniffled, and clung to his mother tightly. He was glad she wasn't leaving, and was starting to calm down a little. The shaking wasn't that bad...he loosened, and nuzzled Kami gently before letting her set him on a chair, pulling the blanket up so it formed a sort of hood.

Pueblo had her paper pad flipped open and already colored on. She looked up at Nehanda, sensing security within her friend. She gave her a confirming smile, then waved the green pencil in her direction. Maybe this would make her happy! "Lookie! I have the color uf plants!" she stabbed the air proudly.
Her tail swished across the floor like a living broom. Her ears twitched behind her, hearing the signature footsteps of Osu and someone else. Craning her head around and blinking behind her snowy bangs, she stared at the firey red head. Quickly, she became quiet again and tore out sheets of paper. Carefully, she emptied the large assortment of pencils onto the floor for easy pickings for the others. "Hi, Osu," she chirped. Then her ear flicked again and looked up with an excited smile. She quickly got up and skidded across the slippery floor, foot claws scratching the floor. "Tsu! Tsu, come here and color wit us!" she cooed and grabbed the boy's hand. At least that's how her Guardian got her to follow her, so maybe it would work the same. She gave him a bright smile, happy for him to be here where it was safe. Unlike her home where things were falling off tables.

Tsu couldn't help but smile as Bobo grabbed his hand. She seemed so... confident. Maybe it was because Fae was here and safe, but that didn't matter! The confidence was infectious, and as such the child allowed himself to be pulled towards the colouring, reaching to pick up an orange crayon and brandishing it with a slightly bolder smile. "Okay!"
It was at that point Kiro finished his flat run for the Centre, bursting through the door and almost tripping as he tried to skid to a stop. The youth was shaking, and his breath was raking in and out harshly, but for all intents and purposes he was safe. This, Tsu decided as he dropped the newly acquired pencil, was the important thing. With a squeak of relief, he grabbed at Kiro, the neko-jin dropping to his knees to hug the Aerandir without too much effort.
Kiro then glanced up. "That's half the houses checked," he said. "Hopefully Ieyasu..." he trailed off, glancing about for the other. Not seeing him just yet, he continued. "Ieyasu'll have gotten the other half. I got everyone I could find..."

Fae had sat down amongst the many colors of Aerandir children and made sure they were all accounted for. Still worried where the others were, she felt somewhat braver being responsible for all these creatures. But as soon as the doors shot open like someone triggering a rifle, her head snapped in that direction. "Kiro!" she yelped, springing to her feet. It didn't take long for the ground to react, however, and with more power than last time, the quake knocked her balance off. "What's going on out there?!" she asked after listening to him. Fae sat up from the ground and rubbed her head without any thought. And what were those burn marks doing on the edges of his clothes? She looked up to the ceiling which had decided to start making noises like hail.
Pueblo's ears stood like a scared deer when Kiro shot through the room like a ghost. Running to her guardian, her copper anklet and silver chain clanking quietly, she hugged Fae around the arm and stared. Kiro...Tsu's guardian...looked scared too. Her ears flattened and she slightly frowned. Gently, she reached out to give him a small hug- he was like a second guardian too her anyways. A daddy, if she remembered the stories Fae had read to her. Each family usually had two guardians to each character. Like the Three Bears; mama bear and papa bear. Fae was the mama bear, so why couldn't Kiro be papa bear?

Shortly after Kiro made it back to the centre, the door slammed open abruptly once more. Ieyasu burst into the centre, kicking the door shut violently behind him as soon as he was through. Perhaps unstandably, he wasn't concerning himself with being polite at the moment. Visibly relaxing, he took a few steps forwards into the room, his breathing somewhat heavy. He had run back to the centre as fast as he could, especially when everything darkened further, and burning rocks began to fall to the ground. He'd made it just in time and no more. Even now, he could hear things pelting off of the roof.
Bending down, Ieyasu let go of the small grey cat that he had been clinging to. It immediately shot under the nearest chair, its ears flattened to its skull. It had quite obviously had a fright, which wasn't exactly surprising. Allowing the cat to go, Ieyasu leaned back against the wall, sliding to a sitting position on the ground. Still shirtless - it wasn't like he'd considered grabbing more clothes - he seemed pretty much unhurt, with the exception of a few scratches on his hands and running up his arms. He wasn't really concerned with those - they weren't exactly deep afterall.
"..I checked all the houses on the right." Leaning his head back on the wall, he grinned wryly as the thumps continued overhead.
"Damn... you know, I could really do with a cigarette right now."

Swallowing hard, Kiro shifted into a cross legged position, accepting Bobo's small hug with a smile before looking up to answer Fae's question. "There's a volcano on one of the other islands... it's spitting smoke and rocks at us by now." Glancing down, the neko-jin swatted at his clothes. Hadn't noticed the sparse burns in his hurry, and was only glad it was just his clothes. He hugged Tsu a little tighter, then looking up sharply as Ieyasu made his entrance. The neko-jin's expression was clearly one of relief that the other had made it unscathed.
His ears flattened a little against his head as he glanced up, not liking the thumps from overhead but definately glad he was now underneath a roof...

Fae's eyes widened a little. However calm, she didn't want to freak Pueblo out. This was very interesting news... Again, the shot-guning doors and another body running in. This time it was Ieyasu, half naked at that. Pondering momentarily if he was caught showering in the middle of a volcanic erruption, she almost began looking around for a cig. Fae wrinkled her nose slightly catching herself and turned back to Pueblo. She gently brought her into her arms and patted her head.
"What's...volcano?" Pueblo asked quietly. "Is dat what's happening?"
Fae pursed her lips in thought. "Well, a volcanic erruption is what's happening. A volcano is a mountain- you know what a mountain is," she explained as she reached for the pad of paper and pencils. "It gets angry and starts coughing out really hot rocks and smoke, and eventually even hotter liquid," she showed on the paper in a colorful display. Red and orange streaks came out from a brown cone-shaped mountain. Deep down, the last process of the volcano would just decide to skip over that part. She gulped but gave Pueblo a reassuring bounce. "But we're safe in the centre." Where did Aly go??.

Syrenrei sat down at one of the tables and folded her hands in her lap. She wasn't trying to be anti-social... she just didn't have anything to contribute. Many of the Aerandir and adults looked like they were troubled enough, and although she was calm, she couldn't think of anything to say to them to make them relax as well. She was calm herself out of necessity; Delta needed her to be calm. Besides, for her to worry would only spread fear, and even if she worried, there was nothing she could do.
Delta quietly sat next to Nehanda, clutching her doll in her hands as if it provided her some comfort. She watched the others color, and was starting to recognize them, but that didn't calm her. The fact everyone had to gather in the same place to be safe only made her more anxious... and now they were talking about falling rocks! In her little world, she had imagined that the adults were omnipotent, and the sudden realization they weren't, and that some things were out of everyone's control, scared her. She didn't like the uncertainty, the helplessness. It made her want to hide.

With a huff Yakobi arrived at the center, attempting to tell off the sky for the bits of rock that had started to fall...Why had she taken so long to get the center? No matter, she couldn't quite remember. Quickly she pushed herself into the center, glancing around for Kaigan and Taranis. Ilco was saftly seated under her hat, trembling as he usually did.
Happily she smiled spotting them in a corner. Kaigan was still holding Taranis, who seemed to have fallen asleep in his arms. It was actually kind of cute...If only Kaigan would get rid of that disgusted look on his face. "Good, you're alright." she smiled walking over to them only getting a grunt in reply. Letting out a sigh she sat down on the floor, looking around at everyone.

((Gah! I always miss out when everyone's around!!!))
Nehanda smiled gratefully at Pueblo. "Thanks. Oh! I can draw you a picture of the new flowers I made! I grafted 'em for Foenix." Leaning over, she busily started to scribble on the piece of paper given to her. Tilting her head, she smiled at Delta. The pretty blue-haired girl looked really nervous. "I bets you'd like the flower. I'll give you one, uh, when I can . . ." She trailed off and wondered when that would be.
A new thought occured to her, and she sank over her clumsily-executed picture as Kiro and 'Yasu both re-entered the Centre. With all the disturbance to the ground, what was going to happen to her gardens? All of the carefully tended rows of plants and herbs and flowers. This eardquake couldn't be good for them, especially the more delicate ones.
Mustering a weak smile, she continued talking to Pueblo and Delta. She included the boys in her smile. "Now, um, now that I can graft stuff, I can sort'a grow you your own flowers too. Or stuff that doesn't flower, too, I guess."
