Rin sighed softly into his kiss, unable to hold up a completely cold front against his soft gaze. She couldn't help but melt around him, and gently returned his kiss, however, her arms were held behind her back, the strange box still tightly held in her grasp.
"Cheshire... Have you not considered that there are worse fates than death?" she asked him, a sly grin curling across her lips as one hand left the box to caress his cheek. "Aren't I living proof of that? I cause people untold misery, never satisfied until my victims beg for death... I fear, that, that is what the White Rabbit has waiting for you; something so horrible that even you will find death to be a paradise." although her gaze softened, her expression was replaced with worry. The White Rabbit was playing some sort of game, and Rin wanted to keep Cheshire out of it. "Now, let me take this box somewhere far away, somewhere hidden. You are not leaving this realm Cheshire, I wont allow it."

Cheshire then got angry for the first time in a long, long time. "Do you believe me to be just another victim?" he asked. His anger was a cold anger, his voice chilly cold. He was not being prideful, although he had things to be proud of. For one, this girl. But he was not being prideful, merely confident. He could take care of himself. He had for generations, centuries. Had she thought that this was his first competition. For years those little scientists had been trying to trick him. "You, who was on the hunt for me for so long..." he stated, giving one of many examples.

Rin's ears flattened against her hair at his cold tone, her expression changing to pure shock for a moment before her eyes quickly narrowed in a brand of her own anger. She felt hurt at his sudden shift in tone, his sudden anger towards her, did he not realize she was just trying to protect the only thing she ever cared for? "You're arrogant Cheshire! I've been in that castle for years, do you honestly think they're not catching up?! That you'll be able to outrun them forever?! All this time, I thought I was their weapon but now my fears are confirmed. I was your distraction, your bait, and now that they've lost my help they have to push even harder on whatever they've been working on all this time. Whatever they have planned is just as dangerous as I am at night, you can't deny this."
Whipping around, Rin started to walk away, her form starting to disappear into smoke. "I'm hiding this box Cheshire. Do not leave... If you think I wont hurt you to protect you, then you've got another thing coming." she growled. Rin had her own brand of compassion, and when it came to Cheshire, well, she would do just about anything to make sure he remained safe. At the last second before she vanished, her gaze softened, her mind only able to say what she couldn't bring to her lips.
"I love you..."
((I need to leave for a little while, I'll be back in a couple of hours!))

((Sounds good to me, I didn't know if you had a complete objection to it,)) Cheshire, much like his song earlier, heard this. He froze. His anger melted. He couldn't react. He wanted to say it back, but she was gone. He fell back onto his back. Unharmed, but in shock none the less. He whispered the words into nothingness, "I love you too,". He wished he'd of not gone off on her now. His ears went down in regret. He needed her back, he needed to say sorry, and he needed to tell her his feelings. He loved her.

The imaginer dropped from the tree and fell into a sitting position next to Ly, "No problem!" She said panting. "Hey, does Izzy know that girl?"

As Rin's form appeared in the forest, she found herself filled with a renewed sense of determination. Cheshire had actually let her leave, which on the one hand was a good thing, but on the other... Why didn't he try and stop her? Couldn't the box be dangerous?
Shaking her head of such thoughts, she stored the strange trinket away in a pocket, then made to the trees. Her agile, limber form easily ran and sprinted across branches with nary a sound, the occasional hoot of an owl or chitter of birds being the only signal that she was even nearby.
After a few minutes of travel, she found herself back at the lake, its glistening surface shining under the sun. Rin gazed out at its pristine waters, a soft wave of sadness filling her heart due to its effects. Shaking her head, she adjusted herself to sit on a nearby branch, a soft sigh escaping her lips as she turned her eyes to her pocket. Reaching her hand down, she took the box out, carefully opening its lid to peek inside. Was there really nothing there?

((*cough* He'd already opened the box. It was empty. I even asked Enradus. There's nothing in there. It's to show that Chesire's 'death' will be nothingness. In other words he's gonna take everything away that actually means something to him.... you.)) Cheshire pulled the all seeing ball over to him. He was going to watch over her like a guardian angel til' she returned. He wanted his Rin to be safe. Especially after her last thought.

((I pmed him asking about it... Spoiler alert? xD ))
Rin sighed to herself and fully flipped the box open, indeed, nothing was there, the stupid thing just seemed like an ordinary box. Maybe Rin was running paranoid, but the Rabbit always had something up his sleeve. Sighing to herself, she quickly leaped from the branch, stepping up to the shore of the lake. Growling, she pulled her arm back then threw forward, the box soaring across the lake and landing with a -plop- in the center. Whatever the box could have been, it was nothing now. Another heavy sigh escaped her lips as she stared out at the glistening water, her ears drooping with the heavy air that filled the area. It was always so damn depressing.
Turning, she left the dark waters behind, knowing it would do no good to sit and linger on past experiences. Sadness was behind her, the fun was supposed to begin.
No, that wasn't right either. As Rin thought of this, she stopped and glanced back once more. She wanted to have fun, wanted to laugh and live alongside Cheshire, but as the day grew longer and colder, her markings grew warmer. She hated the feeling. It felt as if she were slowly being squeezed throughout the day until finally she was crushed underneath the light of the moon. It was harder to go during the night without changing anymore, especially after absorbing that tiny piece of chaos from Cheshire. She needed to do her job soon, before the Rabbit had a chance to expose her completely to the King.
The King was, after all, one of her last targets to "cleanse".
However, it didn't matter, sooner or later, the monster that laid within her would go after him itself. Whichever form got to whom first only dictated whether or not the afflicted lived, or died. All she cared about, was being the one to completely heal Cheshire while she was Rin. Other than that, the people of Wonderland could rot.
Shaking her head, she lifted a hand to run through her hair. She had always such dark thoughts, but did the people really bother her so? No, in truth, they hadn't. She was as curious as Cheshire at one point, wanting to play and tease with the people that slipped into Wonderland; but Rin was poisoned, and it has affected her personality for years.
Who was she anymore?
Feeling a small headache starting to grow, she shook her head and returned to the trees in an attempt to run off the stress. She needed to remain calm, and most of all, she needed to remain alert. What was the Kingdom planning for Cheshire? What was being worked on back at the castle?
Perhaps she could beat the Rabbit there... Perhaps she could find out before he returned... Yes, that's it! The rabbit was the fastest individual in Wonderland on foot, but fortunately, Rin and Cheshire had their own methods of travel. With a low growl, she stopped on a nearby branch, her body disappearing limb by limb, much like Cheshire's style of disappearing before the only thing left was not her smile;
But her glare.
------
Her light frame landed easily on the pearly ground of the inner court, the dark, looming walls lit by venemous fire that barely illuminated the stands they sat upon. The King was still gone, the halls would be dark, perfect for Rin to get around without being noticed.
For now, she didn't even know if she was wanted yet, but she couldn't take chances. Better to sneak and avoid being seen, then take the risk of being found and persecuted. Not that she couldn't handle a few of the King's guards, but it would just be a mess she didn't want to handle at the moment.
Tilting her head, she raised her nose slightly, sniffing at anything that felt out of place. No, it smelled the same, but perhaps that was the problem all along. Everything smelled like it had when she lived here, but what was the scent to identify the labs? There had to be a way in besides the front door, even with her magic, it was sealed tight through strong, barrier spells.
Quietly, quickly, she started to roam the castle, sticking to the shadows, ceiling, any dark corners she could find as her sharp eyes looked for anything out of the ordinary. While she worked for the King, she hardly sat in the castle, so this was her first close look at the surroundings.

((Haha, just my assumption. I've read many a books, so I know the basic plots and fights. Especially for those that can't die. That and I've watched plenty of movies. So... that's the route he'll assumably take, but maybe he'll come up with something I can't foresee. You do it quite often o-Angilis-o. So... that's just my theory for the time being. I'll play along with it if it happens. No need to ruin the big plot in Enradus' mind.)) Cheshire watched her dissappear from the forest, hopeful of her return... but no. She appeared in the castle, his previous hope crushed. He sat and watched whispering repetedly, "I love you," wishing that one might reach her ear.

Rin moved swiftly, her form appearing and disappearing through shadows as her nose attempted to pick up anything useful. At one point, she sighed an ended up in the middle of a dark hallway, relaxing as it sounded like she was alone for the time being. She quietly trotted down as her eyes glanced at the various paintings, taking her time to observe the area as she made her way through the darkness. Eventually, she stopped, her nose picking up something that should have been odd given the currently empty state of the mansion.
"A... Fire?" she whispered to herself as she looked around. Once Rin spotted the general direction, she quietly slipped herself back into the shadows.
Upon entering the warm, cozy room, she poked her head through the shadows once she determined the room to be empty. The fireplace was warm and inviting, cozy and comfortable. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she quietly moved about the room, doubting that she would ever find the labs at this rate. Moving towards the fire, she glanced at the various pictures on the ledge of the fireplace, each of a different denizen of wonderland from ages past, it was quite humbling, as Rin never had the chance to meet some of these great individuals.
As her eyes travelled across the counter, she spotted the corner of something odd, hiding behind a frame. Gently pushing it aside, she spotted something that made her fur stand on end.
"Another wooden box?" she whispered, taking the object carefully from where it was sitting. Without disturbing it, she noticed that a small bead hung stuck from the lid, which immediately jarred into the box once Rin had moved it. Perhaps the Rabbit enjoyed storing his trinkets in the boxes, and used them as metaphors in conversations? Whatever the case, Rin carefully opened up the box to see what had fallen inside.
Rin dropped the box, mostly in surprise as she stepped back. What did this mean?! Whatever it meant, she had to tell Cheshire, something odd was happening and it wouldn't be good. Swooping down, Rin carefully picked up the box in her hands, and moved quickly towards the door.
"I have to get back! But if I don't find the labs now, I'll never be able to, what with the King knowing about Cheshire and myself being inevitable... It's decided, I have to find the labs first, if there are more of these, larger ones, what will that mean?!"

(The hares shall run into you, Nara!)
Mark Hare continued to walk off with Lily Hare and Annie Dormouse until they ran into the Jokers... and a rose? He went over carefully, they were having a tea party... he loved tea! He knew that his sister and Annie loved tea as well.
Lily Hare saw this tea party and held the sleeping Dormouse in her hand carefully. She nervously waved to everyone.
