I'm thinking of changing my major to some form of computer engineering. (currently undescided) But first I need to find a school or schools to apply to that have engineering programs since for some bizarre reason I applied and went to a school that barely offers computer science.

Really? Nice! I'm at a majorly engineering school. The place had what I wanted and is three miles from my house, what more could I ask? Though these past two week I almost decided to switch out, almost couldn't take it....DETERMINATION!

Well, you did say that you lived near it so it would be weird. How about your top 5 or 10 list of engineering schools you looked into?

Actually, I only signed up for two colleges. I got into the one I wanted (plus they gave me a scholorship) and was rejected from my second choice....heh

At least you had a clue when looking for schools, but without knowing what you want to do it sucks. You can't easily relate to just anyone by talking about majors.
There is also that gen eds might only work for this or that major, getting stuck on a dorm floor with theater majors with little in common with you, and no classes to gossip or work together with.
Having a sure path would suck when one realizes that it isn't the one for his or her, but it is nice to have a goal and know exactly what you want and are able to choose based on that. emo I want a major.

I'm a commuter, so I don't have to deal wit the dorm room stuff mrgreen
But then again, it's a lot harder to make friends in general... confused

I actually spend a lot of time hanging out with the commuters at school, and I don't even have a permit, let alone a license. xd
Is there a lounge on campus or a hangout area, perhaps where a lot of commuters also hang out?
