Engela's smile flashed briefly in the dark. "Yes, dear," she replied. With a hint of a glitter in her eyes, she gave the threads free rein.
And then the world exploded.
In everyone's eyes, there was a sudden blaze of light and colour that was accompanied by a loud ringing noise. As it died down and the brightness finally dimmed enough for the others to see, Engela casually made her way across to Mathias and Artemis. "Have we had enough fun now? May we return?" she asked sardonically.

Artemis coughed, waving his hand in front of his eyes to try and clean the 'cobwebs'. Looking around he chuckled. "Wow...you are amazing Ms. Engela."
Mathias smiled, kissing his love. You are....SO good, love! And taste so sweet! Chuckling, he nods. "We can head out now." A shadow portal appears besides him and he motions Artemis towards it. As the boy enters it, Mathias pins Engela against the wall, growling deep in his throat. Goddess...this is the wrong time...but your blood...is affecting me. I....need you....my love

((OOC: twisted ))
When the portal opened and Artemis came out, Aura was there to meet him. The girl's eyes were blazing, and it looked as though she'd spent the half-hour or so between her disappearance and the end of the battle pacing.
As soon as he came out, she whipped around. Her eyes narrowed - for a moment she looked more dangerous than anyone would have believed possible - and her voice snapped out immediately. "Just what the hell did you think you were doing?" she exploded, colour coming up in her face. "Where do you get off trying to play the hero like that?"
She flung her hands up in the air. "Two bloody seconds, that's all it would have taken to just go through! The portal was attached to me, I told you that! Were you trying to get yourself killed? What's wrong with you?!"
~
Engela smirked ever so slightly. "You're right," she deadpanned mildly, "it is most definitely the wrong time. Particularly since Aura is probably waiting on the other side of that portal to rip Artemis apart."
She smiled sleepily. "It'll be good for him. Better make it count, love."

Artemis glared back. "I was NOT gonna let you get struck by that arrow, Aura! You can yell at me all you want, but I wasn't about to watch you get hurt!" He snaps back, with just as much explosiveness as she gave him.
Mathias growls, licking Engela's neck. I never said here, just that I need you. We'll go home..to our room. Kissing her VERY passionately, his hands rubbing her sweet spots as he growled in his throat, the way she loved it.

((OOC: Um. Sorry for disappearing? >.> Life got in the way.))
Aura's eyes narrowed and she practically hissed through her teeth at him. "I wouldn't have been hit by the bloody arrow either way! I'd have had plenty of time to get through, and I wouldn't have spent the last half-hour--" She cut herself off. Worried sick about you was the rest of the sentence, but she wasn't going to give him the satisfaction when she was so pissed off.
She flung her head back, blonde hair flying. "I can take care of myself, Artemis, and you need to clue in to that. Fast." That said, she stalked away, back towards the house.
~
Engela laughed softly, freeing herself gently from his grip. "Do you ever need a rest?" she teased lightly. "Come on. We should go home - I don't think we'll be interrupting anything." The portal shimmered into being again as Engela called it up. Glancing back at him, she gestured with a smile. "Shall we?"
