Glad you're feeling better giesta. Yesterday there was a tv ad saying Canada Dry ginger ale is made with real ginger. So it's a health food. So maybe some of the time when you're thirsty and don't want water, maybe reach for a ginger ale (no caffeine) instead.
Dr Oz said in this morning's show that reaching for caffeine in the afternoon (coffee, in the lady's case) is probably a sign of lack of sleep. The lady had a lot of rem sleep (the kind that gives dreams). But it was a sign that she was sleep deprived because so much rem was her body saying NEED MORE UNINTERRUPTED SLEEP.
Dr Oz said waking twice during sleep is ok, waking more is not good.
I have sleep issues so I paid a lot of attention to today's show. Hope you don't mind me sharing it with you

Bump...............................1177
Thx, Harvey I have drank Ginger Ale in the past and I think I may decide to get some soon to continue to curb my Caffine drinking.
I understand what he is saying, 3nodding
This will be starting my 5th day without a Caffinated soda and my sleep has inproved because of it and it seems my dreams are even a bit less excited for some reason.
Its perfectly okay Harvey it helps to have info on his stuff, and it has improved my sleep just by not drinking so much Caffine.

Make sure you go through with it, though. My friend tried to do the same thing once, but ended up right back where he started. Do you have anyone to smack you upside the head if you waver?

Wavering once really isn't bad, just keep trying, you'll get there!

giesta, what is it you're wanting to limit? Sugar? Caffeine?
The way I made peace with my caffeine addiction is I allow one cup of coffee in the morning every single day. My body is used to that level. It tastes good. It gives me that energy boost to start the day. I very rarely have a second cup. Caffeine is a powerful drug. I have great respect for what it does, positive and negative.
